Lol so hilarious that she said, " Let me give this a taste test " and literally almosy the entire sandwich was already gone. 🤣🤣 Cant wait to try the recipe.
Wanted to share my attempt on this bread. First, it looked really funny but maybe I can work with it and somehow come up with a solution. Second, it was delicious. I will never go back to another recipe. Best I've ever tried to date.
I just made this but it deflated more than I wanted. I don't think I had my egg whites stiff enough. Takes a long time with a hand mixer. Even though it doesn't taste like bread, I do like the taste. Next time I'll try an extra egg white and keep whipping them until I'm sure they are thick enough. This would be perfect for sandwiches for those who are diabetic or, as with myself, pre-diabetic.
Yes, it does take a long time to whip the eggs. you are right it’s hard to explain the texture, but it does really taste good when making it into sandwiches.
Nice - but let me give you great advice for your wood cutting board. 1) sand it down (get sand paper online). 2) get Tung Oil - brush it on thoroughly on both sides. 3) let it air out for a day or two. 4) repeat 1-3 about three or four times. Better yet - go online to watch videos about using Tung Oil to finish cutting boards. Will protect your knife, your cutting board, make it look nicer, will make it easier to clean, more sanitary and more fun. Great video btw. Looks tasty.
Thank you for posting this. It is the simplest I’ve seen so far and an actual loaf of bread!!! My husband loves bread, but has become so sensitive to regular breads now, driving up his blood sugar. It has been so hard trying to get him to give it up! 😰 I hope this will turn out for me to be able to comfort him! It is so difficult eating sandwiches without bread, when you’ve been used to eating them with bread all your life!!! Love and Peace to you and your household ✝️
Thanks for the recipe. I tried it and it was very delicious as soft sandwich… It’s also low on calories… i will try next time with some dried garlic and Italian herbs….
Not a fan of any cloud bread bc it looks and tastes like angel food cake, which I’m also not a fan of. Also, I hate having to beat egg whites separately for any recipe. Crystal, however, is adorable and I really like her presentation. Very helpful!
I don't think so. When I have Made the eggs whites bread with powder and líquid, there is diferente between them ....with the powder whites is firmer@@ronniecreed6023
To the best of my knowledge after searching for it, I can’t buy egg white protein here where I live, is there anything else I can use? Any other type of protein powder maybe? Would really appreciate any advice! Have a nice day to anyone reading this😊
@@CrystalsCleanKitchendoes that mean exclude the water? Sorry, English isn’t my first language and I’m a bit rusty not having practiced it for a while😅 Thanks in advance!😊
it is usually gone so fast that I’ve never needed to freeze it. I usually just keep it in the refrigerator, but it will probably freeze OK once it is sliced.
I haven’t tried it personally, but a substitute website said to use 2 cups of egg whites for one cup of egg, white powder. And then don’t use the one cup of water. So you would use 2 cups of egg whites, and one cup of cottage cheese
How about turning upside down to cool. Must keep the surface of bread elevated so It doesn't touch surface of counters. That's what I do for angel food cake.
I will give this recipe a try. Thanks for sharing, Crystal! Also, with the new research showing the metabolic benefit of using Allulose, I was wondering if you have tried to incorporate Allulose, (exclusively), in your baking recipes. I know it can be tricky with how it browns so quickly. If you have any recipes you can share using Allulose successfully, that would be awesome. If you haven’t seen the research, then check out Nicholas Norwitz, PhD’s most recent RUclips video on the Healthiest Sugar in the World. Fascinating!
I asked Alexa and she said eight egg whites is equal to one cup of egg white powder. But I have not tried it yet also, you would not need the water in the recipe

Haha I know!! I brought it in sandwich form all week and it was a great lunch
A full recipe in less than 5 and a 1/2 minutes lady, as soon as I saw that I subscribed & Liked immediately. 🎉😊❤

@@CrystalsCleanKitchen When mixing with a hand mixer, should it be a fast or slow speed?
@BellefontePerson I usually start slow and speed it up once it starts getting fluffy
High speed until they're stiff peaks@@BellefontePerson
It's like an angel food cake

Well thanks for watching anyways. Not every recipe os for everyone.
I thought you said with my favorite recipes and I'm going to try this
Yay I’m so excited for you to try it.
Anyone know how many egg whites to use if I didn't want to use the powder?
you just need one cup of egg whites, and one cup of cottage cheese
@@CrystalsCleanKitchen That's what I was thinking. Thanks.
So, you can substitute equal amount liquid egg whites for the powder?
@ronniecreed6023 I just asked Alexa how much to substitute it and followed it that way
I don't think so. When I have Made the eggs whites bread with powder and líquid, there is diferente between them ....with the powder whites is firmer@@ronniecreed6023
Love it!
Yay
I’m not sure why but out of the oven it looked wonderful. When I came back it was flatbread 😂
What kind of pan did you use? Did you beat it enough? I used a slightly smaller loaf pan
To the best of my knowledge after searching for it, I can’t buy egg white protein here where I live, is there anything else I can use? Any other type of protein powder maybe? Would really appreciate any advice! Have a nice day to anyone reading this😊
you could just use regular egg whites however don’t add the water if you do real egg whites
I order My eggs whites powder in Amazon or mercado libre....can't find it in other place.
@margaritalado2203 let me know how it goes
Canyon use egg whites from eggs inplace of egg white powder?
Yes, you can however, just omit the water
@@CrystalsCleanKitchendoes that mean exclude the water? Sorry, English isn’t my first language and I’m a bit rusty not having practiced it for a while😅 Thanks in advance!😊
i’m saying, use the egg whites and cottage cheese, but not the water
that’s if you’re using an actual egg whites instead of the powder
*Evokes Taste Test* Cool recipe and video! Sooooooooooooo... you attached? Haha
thank you so much and yes, I am married
Can you freeze it after slicing? How do you keep it after cooking?
it is usually gone so fast that I’ve never needed to freeze it. I usually just keep it in the refrigerator, but it will probably freeze OK once it is sliced.
How many egg whites can you use for rhe 1 cup of egg white powder?
I haven’t tried it personally, but a substitute website said to use 2 cups of egg whites for one cup of egg, white powder. And then don’t use the one cup of water.
So you would use 2 cups of egg whites, and one cup of cottage cheese
Could you substitute ricotta cheese for the cottage cheese?
You could try it
How about turning upside down to cool. Must keep the surface of bread elevated so It doesn't touch surface of counters. That's what I do for angel food cake.
I have never tried that. It sounds interesting.
I remember my mom put the tube pan upside down on a wine bottle 😂
I see they sell nutritional yeast at my local grocery store. I have never had it. I wonder if it could be added to this recipe to give it more flavor?
I have never tried it, but you certainly could try it
Hi 👋🏻☺️ is there any way I can make your recipe using a hand mixer as I don’t own a stand mixer?
Yes, a hand mixer will work just fine
damn, that egg white powder is expensive!!!!!!
just use egg whites then and don’t add the water
@@CrystalsCleanKitchen thank you.
Does it taste like memory foam? Could you add say monk fruit for a sweet loaf?
You could use monk fruit if you put it in the blender and made it a powdered monk fruit otherwise Allulose would work well also
It reminds me taste wise of a angel food cake without the sweetener
Have you tried doing it with liquid egg white ?
No but it should still work
If you are substituting egg whites for the egg white powder, how much egg whites should you use, 1 cup?
Just look up what the substitute would be online. But you won't need the water if you're using actual egg whites.
What about regular eggs
Regular egg whites will work also
Prolly with cream of tartar added
Yes.
I wonder, couldn’t you use sour cream instead of cottage cheese?
You sure could
What are the macros? How much calories, protein and carbs. in one slice?
I’m sorry I did not calculate that
have you tried it with liquid egg whites instead of the egg powder? isnt the same?
Yes, you could use liquid egg whites. However, you would not add the water that I said to in this recipe.
@@CrystalsCleanKitchenyes I just tried it and came out really good
It just deflated a bit
Thank you very much❤️❤️
How many whites did you use in place of the amount of powder in the recipe? Would really appreciate some advice!☺️
@@nea.m5405 i did small portion just for me so i added 3 eggs and 2 table spoons of greek yogurt instead of cottage. salt, oregano, garlic powder.
@@nea.m5405 but i also tried the chicken bread and its much better. much more like bread.
yummmy😋
It is!!!

What's the sodium count?
I did not figure that out, but you could easily enter all the ingredients and find that on a website
A cup of milk she said.
I am so sorry it is totally supposed to be a cup of water. I miss spoke sometimes my head just gets in the way.
Why did you say MILK
I totally said it wrong. It is supposed to be water. I’m so sorry I misspoke.
Egg white powder is WAY too expensive even at Walmart. It's $30 for 8 oz!!!Sure wish there was a substitute for that. ingredient.
you can use actual egg whites just make sure to omit the water and also add some cream of tarter
@@CrystalsCleanKitchen wow! Thank you!

I actually use Allulose for most of my recipes. I buy a big bag of it from Amazon and it generally will work for almost anything I do.
I feel that it tastes better than the other sweeteners also
Do you have these ingredients in grams?
No I’m sorry I don’t.
Does the fat content of the cottage cheese matter?
No it doesn’t

I don't have a bread pan. Is that a "size". If not what should I use?
Any pan will work. It will just be the shape of the pan
Is it dry in your mouth and hard to swallow?
Not at ALL
It’s soft, moist and fluffy

There are different grades of cottage cheese & fat contents.
I always try to use the highest fat content I can
Why do you say 1 cup water yet when you pour the water you say 1 cup milk? 🤷🤦🏻 SMH
thank you so much for noticing that I did not realize it sometimes I get a little confused when I say words ha ha
I hate the smell and texture of egg white powder so much money wasted . Nothing covers it up Like eating styrofoam

Oh good. I hate buying stuff I don’t need.
Most of these breads are terrible they all have the consistency of a Mr clean magic eraser
it definitely does not taste like regular grain bread, but if you need a substitute, it works well
