😢 I felt that commrnt. Truly.
@@GGLEEMEand for good reason. Ben’s take on Batman is god awful. In BVS, he just goes around killing people without remorse and the only reason he stops killing Superman is because his mom shares the same name as Clark’s. What a joke.
@@luisquintero7359 Snyder's take* Ben was easily best batman in movie history, doubt he can be topped. He killed multiple people in warehouse scene right after martha scene can't even pay attention huh? There is clearly no point to talk about their mom names as your comment about this clearly is a troll attempt. He stopped killing only after Superman sacrifice which is symbolism at it's finest.
He didn’t want to stick around because the movies weren’t doing good
The fact that his last lines were "Not this time, maybe some other time"

Two Batmen. One arc. Love this movie, no matter what anyone says!
@VenemiesTech I did too. It had heart.
“So you went back in time like in Pozharnov?”
Pozharnov is the place where the final battle of Justice league took place so it’s some relief to see that The Snyder cut is canon.
Exactly
Another one I'd like to add is during the chronobowl scene, look closely and you will see Arthur pointing to Barry which happened in ZSJL during the the League vs Superman fight. This wasn't in Josstice League.

Batfleck last sentence was: "Maybe some other time" like he was saying that to us, the audience, that his journey with us ends here, maybe...some other time we will meet again
that's also Batman Keaton's last sentence, a parallel
I honestly want the Snyder verse so bad.
And he also shot a post credit where he called out to Barry to find him in the multiverse.
And rightfully so.

The tragedy made batman who he is.
@@Angel-ed4heand that’s the problem with Ben’s Batman. Most of the development that made him go dark was done off screen and never letting the audience properly see what he went through and instead the movie just told what occurred to him.

That's the saddest thing I've ever heard him say. Think of it like this, he's 48 years old, having been batman for over 2 decades, and it's because of being Batman that he can never get close to anyone
What a line, what a deliver. So honest, sad.
Bat Affleck is the most Complete Batman Out of the Three
@morganlasch8750 Not to mention that he lost his robin, which is heartbreaking.
Batfleck looks so much like the DCAU Bruce Wayne. Especially the bit with him telling Barry not to end up alone like him. The DCAU Batman pushed everyone that cared about him away and ended up alone before Batman Beyond.
It's still debatable batman beyond is one timeline where he ended up alone and the second timeline where he didn't
@@abhinavkishoreprasad I wasn't implying Batman Beyond was part of this universe. I was just saying Batfleck reminds me in some ways of the DCAU Bruce Wayne as far as someone who pushed people away.
@@micpere1991 no I'm saying it's not really confirmed that it “IS” the continuation of justice league unlimited set in DCAU
@@abhinavkishoreprasad yeah it is. They literally retconned Terry being Bruce's "son" at the end of Justice League Unlimited. The fact they closed the DCAU with that revelation is pretty solid evidence that Beyond is part of that timeline, otherwise why go through the hassle of making that episode.

@@Gojirawars03name one moment that Ben’s Batman have any sort of depth. Cause honestly, I can’t think of a single positive thing about this version.
Bro The batman with robert parttinson was way better
"Not this time, maybe some other time". The last words of Batfleck before he drives off into the night. It reminded me of how Keaton drives away into the snowy night at the end of Batman Returns in 1992 never to be seen again.
But he actually was in The Flash movie (Keaton) and died as a hero there (with the same words as Batflecks last words were: «Not this time, maybe some other time»)
The most underrated Batman.
Val Kilmer is more underrated, he has an awesome Batman voice. At least George Clooney made a cameo.

@@nobodyknows9083 christian Bale's batman right 😅
This scene was sad the first time I watched it.
Still is.
0:04 it's a reference to when Barry reversed time in the Snyder Cut. So this movie takes place after Snyder Cut, not Whedon's cut. Zack established that Barry cannot speed people away, and this movie acknowledges that. While Whedon did otherwise
Another reason how the studio mishandled the DCEU. Aquaman is canon to Whedon but Flash is canon to Snyder.
@@Drifter1989 Didn't Jason say Aquaman is canon to Snyder? Or are we factoring in Mera's accent? Does that really matter? I mean Aquaman 1 retconned the speaking underwater method from both Snyder and Whedon. Would a change of Mera's accent really indicate that it's canon to Whedon?
@@yudhazacharias9377 while i could be misrembering, I think Mera said her father is dead in ZSJL, and she doesn't mention this in Whedon's cut. He is alive in both Aquaman movies.

Even Kevin Conroy said (RIP to the legend), he was the best live action Batman adaptation so far in his books. Too bad we were robbed for not having a BatFleck solo movie.
too bad zack snyder is psychotic and literally thinks batman should kill
@@the.abhiram.rBen Affleck would have directed the film while starring and writing it, so you don't have to worry about Snyder in thst regard.
I loved how Andres Muschietti showed Batffleck in a responsible and wise portrayal for his last appearance. This Bruce has been through it, and l hope his Alfred is still alive!
Wish there was a Ben Affleck Batman solo movie.
As much as I love the Reeves movie, we really were robbed of a Batfleck movie. Batman vs Deathstroke would have been lit
There really should have been a solo Affleck Batman movie. He even seemed Gung ho to don the cowl again before James Gunn blew everything up. Gunn should have allowed Ben to make his Batman solo movie
Agreed. Id like to have seen how robin died
If Netflix buys the rights and the Snyderverse is restored, I can see it happening, but I think it's difficult and sad because BatAffleck didn't get his movie, I wanted them to explore what happened to Robin (who I'm pretty sure was Jason Todd) where his costume appears in Batman vs Superman

Sometime in the future when Ben Affleck is in his twilight years, i would to see him play old Bruce Wayne in Batman Beyond movie. He will be perfect.
Bruce would be paranoid over someone with the ability to change reality planning to do it. But he looks so tired here and understands there's no way he can stop Barry anyway.
“Not this time , maybe some other times” became the last words of both batmans 😅
i wish we had more DC movies with the initial team from 2013 (Snyder, Nolan, Goyer, Zimmer)
Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne was seriously underrated!!!!!
One of the few good scenes from The Flash 2023 movie
Few?
It's the only best scene of the movie in my opinion
Maybe there could be an edited down version of the movie?
it is a good movie, indeed
Disagree I think there's plenty of good scenes in the movie.
Ben Afleck Batman. One of the most greatest and underrated Batman’s in history makes his last appearance in this scene
Batfleck closing that door is like finding out your friend died the next morning
I’ll miss him, but he’ll always be the most darkest Batman ever in the DCEU.
The best actor who gives us an emotional speech on what were dealing with our scars 😢
This is years (Years) late rant but when they announced that Affleck was gonna be 'The Batman' I shrugged it of because I saw him as Daredevil, loved that movie even with its flaws, but Batfleck won me over in every movie he was in, was it either Bruce Wayne or Batman, Ben made Bruce/Batman almost like an ordinary citizen/ we all can help/ shape the future.
Ben’s Bruce has the best hairstyle
This scene is proof that Batfleck has been the most comic accurate representation of Bruce Wayne and Batman! And it also happens to be my favorite scene of the movie as he brought so much depth to such a simple scene.
Too sad that he never got a solo movie. "Maybe some other time" Ben.
How is he even “comic accurate” when this version of Batman kills people when one of his fundamentals is that he doesn’t kill people which is his moral code. And does it anyway without any reason or remorse, which defeats the purpose.
I meant in terms of the look. body language and physicality@@luisquintero7359
Your forgetting the fact that this/his Bruce has lost everything and he feels responsible for the death of Robin. I'm not 100% on it but it could be what they were going for in his take on Bruce/Batman. So he kills probably because he don't give a fuck anymore? But I could be wrong....
That is one aspect that does not align because it was ultimately under Zack's control or for whatever reason but I'm not justifying that at all so you're right about that.
Again, he never got his own solo movie to do complete justice to his representation but this scene in particular tells me how convincing he is as Bruce given the writing has depth! He is indeed the closest thing to being "comic accurate" Bruce Wayne/Batman imo! Well if you're nitpicking then at least visually he sure is!@@luisquintero7359
Actually a good scene tbh
I sure am gonna miss Batfleck😢
He was like the perfect casting choice for the character
They wasted this man and fans didn't appreciate him. Batfleck was the Batman we all wanted and deserved apart from his killing. Only the real Batfans will understand this.
It's true that there was some initial disappointment with his casting and to be honest, I was one of those that didn't think he could pull it off, but it dispersed very quickly and many of us thought that Affleck's Batman was one of the best things in BvS when it got out. Many of us saw him as a the most-comic accurate Batman, besides the killing (and up to Pattinson, every on-screen Batman killed his enemies), especially as he remined many of us of the DCAU Batman and Bruce Wayne we grew up with. So, it's not like he didn't have the fans' support.
He was also one of the better-written and better-played characters in ZSJL.
It is quite a shame he never got his own movie in the DCEU, though. He deserved that.
literally only because of snyder, in this movie, batman actually tries to save people, which is why im excited that the same director is doing the dcu batman movie
GOAT Batman actor. Still the best!
People need to stick to the time they're given.
Living your past becomes regret
Future becomes obsession
Live in the present.
Take gratitude. Even the worst emotion that you hold now. They're exclusive. Otherwise, it also becomes one of the many regrets you carry throughout.
I'm not telling anyone to be dumb or happy-go-lucky.
Focus on present. That is one thing that you can always change. It just takes time.
What sense does that make?
@luisquintero7359 When it comes to dealing with life's difficulties, there is no clear answer. Take them as an example of numerous pieces of guide you find on the internet and apply it at your own risk. I'm not pressuring anyone to provide an answer. Don't worry.
😥
Affleck deserved so much more than this.
We still needed to have a solo movie of his Batman.
Dammit, fucking WB.
every time i watch this scene i feel. He was the batman for me and he nailed the role. he deserved better from the studio and he will be missed
“It Also Made me Alone”
the Bat Fam: “AHEM!”
One of the few good scenes from this movie in my opinion. This and the scene with Barry’s Mom.
Factsss
I really liked The Flash. Yes they could have done more with it but I don't think it was as bad everybody said.
Perfect Bruce Wayne and Batman doesn’t exis-
Maybe some other time, it hits hard man. Feels like the end of a journey, which left unfathomable pain, that can never be recovered. So long Ben, so long. Seems like your words were meant for us.
The potential for the solo Batfleck movie we never got was huge. I wil never forgive WB for what they took from us
Why would you want Affleck’s Batman movie? We already have the Batman with Pattinson. Isn’t that enough for Batman movies.
@@luisquintero7359you already know why we want his solo Movies,He's the most interesting Batman out of all Batman, and we fans want to see what 2 decades of experience Does to Bruce Wayne AND Batman..The fact that theres a Broken Robin Suit back in BvS really shows how broken he is throughout his Career of Batman..Take Batman Arkham Knight as an example, when we play him for the first time,he looks like a Maxed character already, like a Someone thats already done with his Character arc, just to be dragged there again and again. Not gonna yap that much but i hope you get my points
Watching this makes me want to see more of batfleck in his own film so bad man 😪😪😪 what a missed opportunity smh 🤦🏾♂️
"Maybe some other time" who knows, who knows, we'll see him in the future in a multiverse saga or, if possible, make his solo film for DC Elseworlds. Anyway thanks Ben Affleck, I'm curious to know who the new actor will be and I hope James Gunn brings Alan Ritchson as Batman (by the way Alan looks similar to Affleck lol)
Exactly what I thought rewatching this
1:01 Yeah, in real life, there's a lot broken with Ezra Miller that needs fixing.
"Barry, these scars we have make us who we are. We're not meant to go back and fix them. And there's nothing broken with you that needs to be fixed. Take it from an old guy who's made a lot of mistakes. Don't live your past. Live your life. Don't let your tragedy define you." Just absolutely true incredible words of wisdom, it's just probably easier said than done for me and most people though.
This character deserved better.
The only Batman without a solo movie lol
Great scene, Affleck did a good job of portraying Bruce Wayne.
"Next time, baby" - Batfleck
I love this movie the same way I love NWH. Not for it’s story but for it’s acting and nostalgia factor.
The way Henry Braham uses colors is out of this world
Batfleck is underrated af. Loved all his performances in every film we had of him in the DCEU
They couldn't have had a better last moment
Very sad. Hope it won’t be the last.
Can we also appreciate when Barry says 'I can save your parents' Bruce might have considered it for a nanosecond, but knows that the ramifications are too severe compared to the pain and loneliness he feels.
Batfleck and Conroy vibes in this whole scene
Ben was the realiest version of batman we will ever get not action wise like bale just an experienced bruce and batman he lives in a timeline alone and seen his error of ways and just trying to promote to others about work life balance
Brucey boy, we will miss you
Farewell BatFleck, Farewell DCEU😢
I consider MoS, BvS UE, and WW, Aquaman, and ZSJL to be better than the entire MCU.
the two times i had tears in my eyes, this scene and when martion man hunter says to bruce his parents would have been proud of him, a old man crying
I’m sad that affleck is not playing Batman anymore but happy that he looks much healthier and cheerful and is out of his depression.
I hope James Gunn considers bringing him back in the future as a multiverse variant
Just like they did with Michael Keaton
Man. I'm gonna miss him so much. He was so amazing and he still had such untapped potential. RIP Batfleck.
This movie was entertaining. Sad that it ends here and we won't get any sequel with the dceu.
'There is nothing broken with you that needs to be fixed'. Beautiful writing.
I wish Barry did save this Bruce's parents...and in a extra credit scene..Barry checks on Bruce and he finally happy
The last appearance of Ben Affleck's Batman made me sad 🥺
This is the "that's not how time travel works" sequence of DCEU Extended Universe
I don't know why but "Not this time, maybe some other time" gets me. It has something in it
Batfleck looks exactly like DCAU Bruce Wayne, I actually wish we saw more of him especially with a solo movie rather than Robert Patterson’s
As a person who, despite having friends and family in my life, still feel lonely from time to time, this scene hit me harder than I could ever expect…
Man I'm gonna miss him. I loved him in bvs and the snyder cut! Hopefully James Gunn and crew can give us a great batman with what they have planned!
"Faith Alfred, Faith" will forever be one of my favorite batman quotes. I loved his character development from bvs to JL. And I think this movie really shows that too.
Aquaman 2 would have been the last time we saw Batfleck but sadly they cut it out for whatever reason.
Probably bc they were done with DCEU at that point
Well that reason is stupid
Because It didn’t service the narrative or story it was just fan servicing to appease the audience. Like Wonder Woman in Shazam 2 & this movie. She has no purpose in both movies other then to sell and market them.
Probably because Aquaman 2 takes place in the altered timeline in The Flash where Clooney is Batman now, I believe that's why Affleck is not in the movie
@@DragunovWayneAs cool as it was to see Clooney just image if we got Bale instead.
