Bat Affleck is the most Complete Batman Out of the Three
@morganlasch8750 Not to mention that he lost his robin, which is heartbreaking.
I felt he talked about his real life here
It isn’t even necessarily about being Batman; other superheroes (especially Supes) have loving relationships. It is that whether he is Bats or Bruce, he pushes people away before they can end up leaving him.
Even here, he is giving Barry solid advice…advice he can’t quite bring himself to take.
Batfleck looks so much like the DCAU Bruce Wayne. Especially the bit with him telling Barry not to end up alone like him. The DCAU Batman pushed everyone that cared about him away and ended up alone before Batman Beyond.
It's still debatable batman beyond is one timeline where he ended up alone and the second timeline where he didn't

This speech came so Deep from Ben Affleck. He isn't just portraying Bruce, he's actually saying those things, he really made many Mistakes in his life, but they made him to search to be a Better person, but it had Consequences. Even if many don't like it, i Love Affleck's Batman, he will stay in my heart forever, hope one day we might get to see him again.
Well too bad cause Ben Affleck’s Batman ain’t gonna come back and for good reason. It’s not like people actually like him as Batman when he was casted and to this day people are still not fond his take on the character in BVS and ZSJL. Plus, we already had too much Batman and it’s best that his movie that was in the works cancelled.
Is similar to the Andrew Garfield scene in No Way Home when he speaks Of Gwen
That also felt like he was saying those things for real
Bruce would be paranoid over someone with the ability to change reality planning to do it. But he looks so tired here and understands there's no way he can stop Barry anyway.
Yes. He’s finally given up on trying to control everyone around him, and realizes that he can’t stop Barry and needs to let him make his own mistakes.

@@the.abhiram.rBen Affleck would have directed the film while starring and writing it, so you don't have to worry about Snyder in thst regard.
@@the.abhiram.r There are reasons why Batfleck snapped his mind and started killing. But things went too far when Batman beat Deadshot in front of his own daughter.
Batman is scary but that doesn't make him emotionless. But Batman did kill in the comics before. In the Batman the dark knight returns, Batman killed the Joker with his own hands but his moral code was so strong that he hallucinated the Joker killing himself. But in reality, it was him who killed the Joker.
Batfleck has endured so many losses. His version of Jason Todd is forever dead and Batman is already old.
People didn't turn good and Gotham has stayed the same way it ever was.
Bruce Wayne expired from the world, he became an alter ego while Batman was always the real one.
During the Batman and Alfred conversation, they talked like Bruce Wayne was another person. The Joker killed Jason and his mind snapped. He started killing criminals and didn't care. But what bothers me is that he never killed the Joker?! Or the Joker went into hiding and never returned. When he returned, Batman was already normal again after the death of Superman.
@@the.abhiram.rHe does not think Batman SHOULD kill. That’s the literal opposite. He wanted to show Batman killing to get another aspect the character. Batman is not a hero in BvS. He has literally become a monster (hence the dream of the bat devouring Bruce). It’s shown that his broken morals and psychotic behavior that were born from his trauma made him kill a father and husband. That’s the reason why Superman wants to stop him. Sup was the good guy in BvS. Not Batman. And Bruce ends up learning his lesson upon witnessing Clark’s sacrifice and understanding that another « Martha », another innocent mother, was about to die but this time because of his own actions. And that’s why he spares Luthor in the end, showing that he grew from that and does not kill anymore.

As a person who, despite having friends and family in my life, still feel lonely from time to time, this scene hit me harder than I could ever expect…
You're never alone.

Perfect Bruce Wayne and Batman doesn’t exis-
Can we also appreciate when Barry says 'I can save your parents' Bruce might have considered it for a nanosecond, but knows that the ramifications are too severe compared to the pain and loneliness he feels.
Batfleck and Conroy vibes in this whole scene
In a way I can also see Bruce thinking about what happened the last time they tried to bring someone back to life (Clark). It was successful yes but almost went wrong. They were lucky enough to undo a death in the present and attempting to do so with time manipulation involved seemed too risky.
They wasted this man and fans didn't appreciate him. Batfleck was the Batman we all wanted and deserved apart from his killing. Only the real Batfans will understand this.
It's true that there was some initial disappointment with his casting and to be honest, I was one of those that didn't think he could pull it off, but it dispersed very quickly and many of us thought that Affleck's Batman was one of the best things in BvS when it got out. Many of us saw him as a the most-comic accurate Batman, besides the killing (and up to Pattinson, every on-screen Batman killed his enemies), especially as he remined many of us of the DCAU Batman and Bruce Wayne we grew up with. So, it's not like he didn't have the fans' support.
He was also one of the better-written and better-played characters in ZSJL.
It is quite a shame he never got his own movie in the DCEU, though. He deserved that.
literally only because of snyder, in this movie, batman actually tries to save people, which is why im excited that the same director is doing the dcu batman movie

GOAT Batman actor. Still the best!
I’ll miss him, but he’ll always be the most darkest Batman ever in the DCEU.
Definitely, but he was supposed to be. As he said here, a Batman who defines himself by his tragedy. Focused on vengeance and the past. A bitter, jealous old man obsessed with control and power, blind to how his own power has corrupted him.

Too sad that he never got a solo movie. "Maybe some other time" Ben.
How is he even “comic accurate” when this version of Batman kills people when one of his fundamentals is that he doesn’t kill people which is his moral code. And does it anyway without any reason or remorse, which defeats the purpose.

Your forgetting the fact that this/his Bruce has lost everything and he feels responsible for the death of Robin. I'm not 100% on it but it could be what they were going for in his take on Bruce/Batman. So he kills probably because he don't give a fuck anymore? But I could be wrong....
That is one aspect that does not align because it was ultimately under Zack's control or for whatever reason but I'm not justifying that at all so you're right about that.
Again, he never got his own solo movie to do complete justice to his representation but this scene in particular tells me how convincing he is as Bruce given the writing has depth! This is years (Years) late rant but when they announced that Affleck was gonna be 'The Batman' I shrugged it of because I saw him as Daredevil, loved that movie even with its flaws, but Batfleck won me over in every movie he was in, was it either Bruce Wayne or Batman, Ben made Bruce/Batman almost like an ordinary citizen/ we all can help/ shape the future.

Maybe one day theyll give a Dark Knight returns story
Considering all the flaws with the previous movies, I have to admit they could’ve just utilize Ben Affleck’s performance as Batman and Bruce Wayne a lot more better because this scene was pretty good
I hope James Gunn considers bringing him back in the future as a multiverse variant
Just like they did with Michael Keaton
This specific scene was a really good representation of an older Bruce Wayne. I wish they had let Affleck do more of this.
This character deserved better.
