The Flash Was Supposed To Have A Sequel Right ? Because The Movie End Like This Is Confusing
Yep @@mikejefferson779
@@mikejefferson779 This final scene makes sense within the context of time travel. Barry went back in time to clear his fathers name by replacing the tomato can thus changing the course of events.
When Barry returned to the present he discovers a different Bruce Wayne which in this case is Clooney. This is because he is now living in a parallel universe where his father was acquitted of the murder charges. I’ve always said that while George was a TERRIBLE Batman he was the perfect Bruce Wayne.
I've been saying this for the past few years! I completely agree. The man embodies the swagger of Bruce Wayne from the comics. I do wonder, if the script and director were different, could he have been a good Batman? We'll never know, but at least we know he was good at playing as Bruce Wayne.
@@AnthonyNJ90The problem with Batman and Robin wasn't the actors. It was the writers. The whole movie was just written terribly. If George Clooney and the rest of the cast had been given the materiel that Michael Keaton had to work with, they probably would have made a pretty great Batman movie. If anything, blame the studio for kicking Tim Burton out of the director's chair just so they could try to sell more toys.
@@AnthonyNJ90 I think with good writing and materials, clooney can be a good batman. I've been saying that for years. He's got the "superhero chin" and the facial features that looks good for batman. But sadly, the studio fucked it up.
@@CaptainRC1 ive actually said if you animated batman and robin in the dark deco style keeping all the audio the same it would be have a hugely different tone
He wasn't a terrible Batman. It was just a terrible movie. He played it the way they wanted him to play it..... As if it were an update on the 66 television series
Of course he's not Batman. He didn't show his Bat-Credit card.
Never leave the cave without it :)
Been looking for a comment like this 🤣
A BAT CREDIT CARD???!!!!!
Ironically, that's probably Batman's most powerful gadget.
ooh thats below the belt. 😆 the most regretted moment in all of the DCU.
Batfleck: “Interfering with the past can lead to unforeseen consequences.”
Keaton: “You make a change to the past, it will change the past, present and future.”
Barry at the end of this movie: “Wuh what?! I put the can of tomatoes back though! What do you mean making my dad look up still had effects on the timestream? How could I have foreseen this?!”
This final scene makes sense within the context of time travel. Barry went back in time to clear his fathers name by replacing the tomato can thus changing the course of events.

Ikr this scene doesn’t make sense. In the original Flashpoint storyline, Barry is the one who’s supposed to understands the concept of time travel but this no goes nowhere
@@mrsiracha7717You forget...DCEU BARRY ALLEN IS A MORON!!
@@master-of-mind5881 Barry should already be aware of this though, thats my point. Even if he doesn’t understand the concept that he’s basically hopping into different timelines instead of changing his own timeline, he should at least understand that changing events in anyway will cause changes to even farther in the past, and therefore the present and the future. He goes back in time to take the can of tomatoes, but instead of just taking them out of the cart, he dresses up, talks to and hugs his mom, and rearranges the shelf to make his dad look up in the camera. *He’s changing stuff again*, something he knows he shouldn’t do now, but he’s still surprised when stuff is different? Is he stupid?
@@mrsiracha7717 Flashpoint wasn’t a terribly great story but at least it had a decent character arc for Barry. Even the CW show did it well since even though Barry allowed Thawne to kill his mom, that didn’t correct the timeline 100%. Doesn’t matter now though since Doctor Manhattan was behind it all in the comics, so now the story itself is kind of like false advertising since Barry can’t fuck with timelines on that big of a scale by changing small things.

George Clooney Returns as Batman
A lot of people wonder why Batman would have a beard. I like to think it's a Batman Beyond situation. While Clooney's Bruce Wayne is still technically Batman, he's not the Batman out in the field. He's the guy in the chair telling the other guy how to disarm a bomb over the phone. At least that's my theory. Cool cameo though.
You're a better writer than 99% of Arrowverse and DCEU and MCU Phase 4 writers.
I wouldn't be surprised if Chris O'Donnell's Robin became Batman at some point. Imagine the conversation between him and Barry. Barry: Wait, who are you?
Richard: I'm Batman
Barry: No, you can't be Batman, Bruce is Batman
Bruce: Was Barry, I was Batman. Now, I'm retired
Richard: Now, I'm Batman
Yea, they don't thinking that hard for dying universe
Batman's best beard was Vicki Vale
Or maybe clooney just couldn’t be bothered shaving his beard 😂

I love the George Clooney cameo. I know it was done for a joke. But I genuinely believe that if they wrote a decent script and let George have another shot at Batman, he would be incredible.
A lot of people blame George Clooney for the Batman and Robin movie, but it's not his fault. He just had poor written material.
He could have acted like Batman not himself.
I'm one of the few people in the world who actually enjoyed "Batman & Robin". It was somewhat campy and silly, but so was the Adam West/Burt Ward TV series, and also like that show, it was still fun. And it had a great musical score, and you HAD to 💘 Uma Thurman's Poison Ivy!

How does that explain the end credit scene with Aquaman though?
The original end credit scene was supposed to be Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne greeting Barry in the present.
They also shot a deleted scene where affleck’s batman sends a distress message from their timeline urging Barry to return. I’m guessing if they kept the original ending then the aqua-man cameo makes sense. However this movie’s storyline is heavily convoluted. The producers had the director cut many scenes and shoot new ones including this without continuity or cohesion. It’s all a mess. Also end credit scenes are sometimes non-canon which is why they take place directly after the events of the story.
If you think in this context it might make more sense. The real reason was to sell aquaman 2 to the audience as the next DC feature.

The original plan for justice league 2 & 3 was to have darksied invade earth and take over, Lois lane dies, superman turns evil forcing the rest of the league to go into hiding. Eventually flash runs back through time to warn Bruce of the future which is what we see take place in that scene from dawn of justice. When you consider this deleted scene that takes place after the flash it becomes a closed loop.
I was the only one in the theater who cheered for Clooney. B & R is so underrated!
What kind of reefer, are you smoking right now?? 😂😂😂
Definitely is a fun rewatch but definitely is still the best worst movie of all time
I think this movie still manages to be fun in some areas. Considering most movies with such delays and production hell often leads to the studio cutting their losses. I don't like this usage of him. They could have added a much better glimpse into Joel's universe with a brief multiverse sight of Clooney's Batman and maybe O'Donnell's Nightwing in a pretty cool battle together. Joel had some ambitious ideas for a third movie and wanted to make up for Batman and Robin. Could have been fun. Also, Keaton showing up at the end would have been much better. Not only much more satisfying than a last minute gag but he was the best thing about Flash. Even though the long term plans for his return got lost, him being alive at the end would have left a lot of potential for more stuff that could be done in Earth 89. Batgirl was cancelled but there would still be no better Batman to help support future Bat Family projects. I'd very much like to see his Nightwing, his Red Hood and another attempt at his Batgirl etc Burton's movies are the most Connected to TAS so why not explore an expanded Batverse that could also see Michael's Bruce becoming a mentor in a live action Batman Beyond project. Really hope this wasn't the last of Keaton's Dark Knight.

What’s funny is that even those this scene was done as a joke, it’s still very much accurate to the comics. It followed the concept of the new 52 where Barry tried putting things back to how they were before he changed things, but learned that he can never put things back exactly the way they were, only close to how they were, hence why things are the same, yet different, hence why this is still Bruce Wayne, but this time looks like George Clooney instead of Ben Affleck.

Shot in London, at the west end of St Paul's Cathedral, beside the Queen Anne statue - a frequently used shooting location due to the architecture. Sometimes the set dressing for these 'believe that this is America' scenes seems a little heavy-handed with the yellow cabs, cop cars, etc., in the same way that a film/scene with too many shots of double-deckers, black cabs, red phone boxes (and The London Eye in every shot) just screams 'something's up' here.
