Imagine if Affleck and Keaton met: two Batmen past their primes, both of whom have been Batman for far too long. But their paths have been very different.

Because it's the same location, Exterior is Knebworth House in Hertfordshire, where all the great concerts were held including Freddie Mercury's last big Queen show in 1986 (I was there😎😎) And the interiors (At least some of them) are in Hatfield House, which was also Greystoke Hall in Tarzan with Christopher Lambert, and Croft Manor with Angelina Jolie. The long gallery is where the charity casino scene is shot in 1989, along with 100 other tv shows and films.

1989 Batman was the reason I came to love superhero movies in the first place.
Such a shame Keaton's return is pretty much just a nostalgia gimmick. They should've just done The Dark Knight Returns adaptation in style of Logan with Keaton instead.

They were actually going to do another Batman spinoff movie with Keaton and it was actually going to be a Batman Beyond movie

that's why these multiverse type movies disappoint me, they bring these actors back decades later to play their classic characters, but they never get the screen time they deserve, they actually deserve another movie to themselves instead of just being a supporting character, guys like Keaton and Tobey maguire in Spiderman

Loved this scene. Really reminded me of the conversations that Dr. Emmett Brown/Marty McFly had. Bruce in certain moments felt like Alfred towards Barry in this film. Offering them food (pasta) as well as coffee when Barry wakes up later on in the batcave.

Seeing Keaton's return as Batman was one of the best things i enjoyed from this film but his return was wasted it would have been best for Keaton to do a Batman Beyond movie.
I didn't like the beginning (baby shower) and didn't like the end (their Earth falls to Zod), but did like the middle, like this scene. What a wasted opportunity and a disappointment! I think someone watched that X-Men movie where Quicksilver runs through the mansion grabbing stuff and people, so wanted to repeat that with babies. Dumb.
Can still be possible after all. Like he said time is not linear and the ending show how FU timleine became. That Flash ended somewhere but there's still possibility that some Keaton Batman variant exist

I didn't know what that song was saying until I looked it up after watching the movie: "Twenty-five or six to four." Even back in the day that doesn't make much sense. I can see someone saying "it's 25 [minutes] to 4 [AM]," but no one else said "it's twenty-six to 4" let alone "25 or [twenty-] six to 4" or even "5 or 6 to 4."
Good beat, rhythm or whatever though. Too bad it has stupid lyrics.

I like how recent time travel stories explore new ideas about it. From BTTF, to Avengers Endgame, Stargate SG1, and The Flash.
The Vulcan Science Academy has determined time travel is impossible.
To be fair the Endgame version of time travel isn't really a new idea, besides the fact it was done in Star Trek 2009 it's existed long before that.
Linear time travel is the more popular theory because it's the simplest one to imagine, but now that the paradox the theory causes is increasingly becoming common knowledge, movies need to explore the more plausible theories to stay believable.
Now don,t go watch Stein gate anime. One of the most fu time travel media but with ton of great explanation and theory that make MCU and DC time travel look like child

Actually I think in the Keaton timeline, Christopher Reeves is the Superman but according to Zod he never made it to Earth because Zod captured him as a baby and killed Christopher Reeves baby Superman. Of course Christopher Reeves will always be the BEST Superman EVER! RIP Christopher Reeves! The BEST Superman I'll ever know!
@@js7094 nope. The baby was Henry Cavill version. In Man of steel version, his pod manage to escape from krypton. But in this movie, due to flash change the past, his pod got destroy by zod, only supergirl's pod reach earth.

I enjoyed this movie more than Aquaman 2
I disliked parts of _The Flash_ movie, but only disliked Aquaman getting p***ed on. But going forward _A 2_ t was just entertaining for a week. I did think after seeing it, what could have been done to fix _The Flash._
Honestly one of my favorite Batman fights in film. The music, the choreography, the fact that is shows that Bruce never needed gadgets or an armored costume to kick ass!

Did we ever see Ben Afleck's Batman's mansion? This scene doesn't truly impact anything given the fact we never saw his mansion.
In Batman versus Superman, Wayne Manor was practically ruins while Bruce was living in a literal Glass House on the grounds. Have the DCEU been allowed to continue, Wayne Manor would have Been demolished to make way for the future home of the Justice League's (presumably)Hall of Justice

You know that they can still use Keaton for a Batman beyond. Nothing is forcing DC to use 1 continuity for their story hence The Batman (from reeves) is not part of any conituity of the 2 joker movie. Michael's Batman was a loner, so less able to lead.
Ben's Batman was the leader of the Justice League, but not very friendly to Barry (or others).
George's Batman was the mentor of Robin and Batgirl, so was both a leader and a friend to Barry.
@Scandal_thong8631 Keaton could easily lead and even Barry saw that but he was retired and older by that point to be fair compared to Ben's Batman still in his middle age prime. Ben's Batman was friendlier to Barry as time went on and we also saw this more in the comics when he helps train Barry, he's just Batman which is one thing he shares in every version of the multiverse. Keaton's Batman wasn't exactly super friendly to Barry at first when he asked for help....Barry literally had to remind him of why he does what he does. Clooney's Batman was more of a mentor i his universe having Robin and Batgirl, a bit different than the other Batman's who didn't have any or just Robin in Affleck's case but as far as Batman George's was the worst, he didn't even attempt to mask his voice as Batman.
For sure was a really good movie but the CGI and his run could've been better

ok ok. They NAILED classic batman. That flying leap with the broom stick was totally him. Then Bruce starts talking about time travel. I feel as if its sometimes forgotten that not only is he skilled in advanced martial arts, but he is also a genius. Also, it seems like Bruce would experiment with time travel at some point.
Flash's best friend was Victor aka Cyborg. Ray Fisher spoke out against Hamada and also spilled the open secret on Joss Whedon - Fisher was erased from Hollywood, blacklisted.

In og ending the Bruce who is not George Clooney is Offscreen stepping out of car and after Barry asks who is that ? The screen turns to black and also Supergirl and Keaton Batman are alive in the end, there were scenes with superman foreshadowing Man of Steel 2 and incredibly the stupid should-have been-deleted baby scene was supposed to be a Volcano eruption

I have a lot to say like how did Barry not assume he was Alfred. I mean if I walked into Bruce Wayne’s house having known Alfred, who’s a Vietnam veteran and thus old guy starts kicking my ass I’m gonna assume it’s Alfred. But also could you imagine if Val Kilmer And George Clooney’s Batmen we’re still canon too this universe. They would’ve suffered the wrath of Dick Grayson flip kicks and Barbra Gordon’s punches as well as the broom hits.
