It's super sad that you can see his father standing to the side, hesitating to kill his son and bring his destiny to a close. Also with each knew spirit absorbed, his father looks more and more...like he's in anguish. And I can't tell if that's because this has to happen to noct or if it hurts him too but I like angst so I'm going with the former.

Just noticed that Prom was the last to bow, gave the deepest bow, and was the last to look up. Iggy will be mourning Noct's death as a retainer, Gladio, as someone he has sworn his life to protect, and Prom...Prom will be mourning his passing as a friend, as a person, as a man that had to bear the burden of bringing peace to Eos in exchange for his life. While I will never doubt how much Iggy and Gladio love Noct in their own separate, secret ways, (there is much to be said on the matter) knowing that Prom is losing his buddy, the real Noctis, not the Prince-turned-King, as a commoner and one of Niffleheim birth, as a person to struggle to find his worth, losing the very person that gave you a reason to believe and trust in kindness...I don't think I can describe it. I think I'd hug them both, holding them wordlessly, before disappearing down the stone steps. Walking to your death and having to watch your friend go where you cannot follow, both things break my heart.

For the story I am going to give it a 7.5 - 8 because of some plots were loose in the beggining Emotion - 9 Action 8.5 - 9 Graphics - 9 Character development - 6.5 - 7 because not all main character got character development , like Luna Ending : 9.5 due to its great emotional scenes Music: 10

i liked that for luna, noctis thought of that one nod she gave him after giving her speech in altissia, because that was the only time he got to see her older self. and he hung on to that small memory as short as it was. it’s like despite the fact he didn’t get to see her enough, the little he did see her was more than enough for him to remember her clearly by. details man details

I actually remembered Tidus the second after i commented. But Tidus was dead the whole time, at the end of the game he just moved on. Noctis' death was shown.
I just noticed a small detail that made this even sadder... as Regis is about to stab Noctis, Noct tries to look up at him (4:34), but Regis stabs him before he could, probably because Regis didn't want to look his son in the eye as he kills him :(
I remember someone pointing out that the fact that he stabs Noctis right as he starts to look up is likely because he didn't want to have to do it while looking him in the eyes. It's truly a well made scene.
This haunted Somnus even after his death. The wanting to become King cost his entire bloodline to suffer. No wonder he was to stab last before King Regis wherein he was supposed to be the first one to stab

I played this game and honestly it is my third favorite final fantasy game. The ending is sad and you realize not every ending in a game is going be good. But this ending hurt i love this game and anyone who says it is not good please play it because i love it.
This game actually did a tragedy story right. And it makes me happy. They all fucking die. He's lost everything, the world has fallen, many are dead, etc. Even though he bearts Ardyn, it doesn't change the fact the world fell to him. All that damage and turmoil is still left. The scars the survivors will live with. And to even restore the light, it would cost him his own life. And his friends woul go down fighting to help him achieve this.
Churches final speech was right. The good guys won, the survivors all cheered, but Noctis never got to see that ending. He never knew if the day was truly saved. For all he knew the world could still be shrouded in darkness. All he had was faith. Faith that the prophecy would rain true.
This was sad but the whole time I couldn’t stop thinking “Why did everything get so detailed?” And I couldn’t stop paying attention to the details 10/10 best game ever

4:34 the moment both the Empire and the Kingdom of Lucis became leaderless. Yeah, I know that things would've been worse if Ardyn's soul was left to fester and probably reincarnate, but this death (along with Lunafreya's) becomes instantly meaningless because now there's going to be civil wars and an interregnum in *both* countries. This helps protect the country's safety, but it doesn't protect the country politically.
Final Fantasy 15 was so damn goated the only part that fucked the game for me was that you are aged for some reason and to finish older quest you could go back as young noctis and finish these quest then when you do the main quest again you need to go to be old again. That was a weird mechanic not gonna lie.
