I love the difference here. Armiger is just Noctis pulling out random crap. He's not used to channeling so many weapons at once on top of channeling his Buddy's weapons, so he's just grabbing whatever throwing around the other ones. Then in Armiger Unleashed, he looks more comfortable and confident with using them, like slamming the shield down to use as a ramp and flexing some poses. Even in his idle animation. In normal Armiger Noctis is still tense. in Armiger Unleashed, he stands more like DMC's Vergil, no doubts in his mind .
In other words, Armiger is just an inexperienced Noctis, trying to learn what he should do, everything is new to him. Just look at how he only summons 4 Royal Arms and keeps spamming attacks like a new player. Now look at Armiger Unleashed, he already acts like the King, wise, patient and experienced. Using all of your items masterfully. An interesting detail is how his friends move away when he pulls Unleashed, it's almost as if he's saying *It's time for the King to act.* By the way, another name for the Royal Sigil of Mystic is *Proof of the True King*
still an empty desert world just like the unspoken with the same issues and a 30% of real gameplay! :/ anno i brought this game near full price in the first year... i was so dissapointed cause the whole marketing and lore was super interesting and then we got a 30% game and then many many years later by paying dlcs we could get a 50% game... :/ square enix is a money scam company!!! i glad i not brought the unspoken cause i felt it will an another ff15...

If the True King like Noctis can achieve power to surpass the Six Astrals (or Summons,) Clive beats him easily because he can absorb the essences of 8 Summons (discounting the fact that he was born as the human incarnation of Ifrit, which would make him worth the power of 9 Summons in that case.) Also, this is more debatable for canonicity, Clive absorbs Ultima's essence in the game's DLC, and Ultima created the summons to begin with as portions of his *total power.* So having Ultima's essence is worth another 9, which would tally up to the power of 18 Summons combined.

It really is disappointing that they have discontinued FFXV. Maybe, 2 decades later we'll get a remake, and they will add in the DLCs they cancelled. EPISODE Aranea, EPISODE Luna, EPISODE Noctis (Ardyn and Noctis joins up to kill Bahamut)

Episode Ardyn doesn't fits well with the original game; Sol and Lunafreya's story is an absurd try of recreate Noctis journey, but 100 times worst (and Lunafreya returning to life just because). The only good and enjoyable it has is Aranea's story
I was building up hype before finally re-playing this game (only played it day1) and I am AMAZED by the amount of content I never experienced. I know FFXV received and still get heavy criticism, but I honestly loved the characters even with the (very) flawed narrative. Now I'm more motivated than ever to live this Story again!
My one n only favourite final fantasy.. This game remind me to my 4 bestie including me.. We through alot together, making bbq after got months salery, try new type of food, camping, travel to new place together to join the battle of the band meanwhile one of my hyper type bestie always capture a picture of us.. Maaan my situation is very accurate to this advature of prince noctis n friend in final fantasy 15.. I really miss that glorious moments😢..
Glad to see so many sharing the opinion, that *_Armiger Unleashed_* should've been Noctis's standard gameplay. Also, Gladioulus, Ignis & Prompto should've been selectable from the beginning, working as a proper party, without needing to go throughth Noctis first, King or not. and also receiving the same polished gameplay, as in their DLC's.
well not necessarily the beginning. Not unless you want to fundamentally change the character growth of Noctis (which would also change the party dynamic, the best thing in the game). but hindsight is 20/20 and the game had to get out eventually. Not perfect but I enjoyed what we got.
The only thing I wish carried over to FF XVI is the Armiger, even if renamed/changed to something else. Imagine what can be done in XVI's combat system... *sigh*

I kmow its a bit late, but i have ffxv with the royal pack, all the Royal arms and i can see the statue at the place outside the cave, and i had the armiger unleashed in the ps4 file, i transfered it to the ps5 but when i play it i have everything except for the founder royal sigil even though i had it, i am near the statue with all the weapons but nothing happens, any ideas? I dont know what to do

Honestly I think armiger combo should've been the base combat move. I pretty much love ff15 already, so even before armiger unleashed is introduced, I already am okay with the combat system. But imo if we have AI from the very start (even though it's weaker as we don't have all royal arms yet), more people will like ff15.
I wish I could be able to deeply customize the button layout without going into PlayStation remapping settings… especially for episode Prompto! With the addition of changing the color of the PlayStation button prompts to look like that of the PS5 and fluffier hair quality similar to the in dragon age the veilguard and resident evil 4 remake!
Is this a recent update or something? I don’t remember the combat being this smooth and flashy. I remember Noctis having some crazy forms but it was esclusive to the stage of the story.
despite having 250hrs on my main save and a pile of smaller saves with up to 40-80 hrs each, I now wonder if I even tried all these combat options 😂 I really need to bust it back out I miss it so much now
If you consider the last 6 years of jrpg or, games in general, ff15 is now realy, realy good. Had a light mental brakedown with 2 trophies, and the famous chapter 7 slow walking got realy annoying after the ki was more K then I but everything els was quite nice. Btw, hunting is NOT part of the 200 side quests.
Noctis has many cool moves and animations which can compete with the current mobile games like Wuthering Waves. His moved are so stylish and cool to watch and execute

(i'm at chapter 8 with +200H) BTW i feel you have more dps with a real weapon : 3 FF14 boss weapons (3*31AD) (that u can buy at the military base to the ff14 character) and the King weapon with 60AD and 3*70AD accessories and +500AD meal and you can 9999 most mobs and 5000-7000 bosses 2:21 : ok i need to advance in the story !!! (but i still have chapt 8 Side quests to do and farm Zu, the giant toro next to the Crater of the meteorite the giant holded and some others high lvl quest mobs for they rare drop)
First armiger before true armiger. Noctis goes fast quick randomly move attack it's cool to be honest but why it's too fast to end? I wish it's longer like true armiger form
FF XV is by far the shiniest turd I've ever seen. Like its obvious that a lot of effort was put into all these different aspects of the game but it fails spectacularly to make it all work together.

It's basically the Eikon Abilities, only instead of weapon-themed, it's summon-themed.
Could have been the limit break, and the limit break evolves as you get more Eikons.
I wish it could be implemented as Bahamut's Eikon ability or maybe Knights of the Round
