From an early age, I was taught never to open the door if we weren't expecting anyone. My parents used to tell the babysitter, "Do not, under any circumstances, open the door, not even if it's one of my relatives, or even the police." Later, I was taught to look through the peephole first, and not open it if it was someone we weren't expecting. Even as an adult, when my buzzer rings, I look through the hole first.
Same. I didn’t grow up in a great neighborhood so we always kept the front door locked even if we were home. And I’ll NEVER understand the people in these crime stories that say nobody ever locked their doors because they lived in such “safe” neighborhoods. Hell no! I wouldn’t care if I lived in a wealthy, gated community, that’s just asking to get robbed or worse. You just can’t trust people. 👀
When my family moved to Nassau County, NY, in 1992, we found that there were unusually high rates of breast cancer in the area. My parents had an expensive water filter installed in the kitchen. We never got cancer, but some neighbors were not so lucky.
That story about Donna who worked at the bank infuriated me! The scum who set the fire only got 12 years for killing 3 people and destroying the homes of others and consider property damage for the landlord! Their nearsighted faulty thinking caused havoc for so many people. I dont care how old they were, they both deserved a MUCH LONGER sentence! 12 years is not nearly long enough to justify wiping out a family! Total scum! California is far too lenient in their punishments.
Solved. In July of 2002, shortly after the story was filmed, the arsonists were identified as fourteen-year-old Timothy Perkins and a thirteen-year-old accomplice. One of the boys' grandmother told police that she believed they were involved in the arson. Two of their friends also gave police important information about the suspects. According to them, one of the suspects had a history of starting fires. After being confronted about inconsistencies in his story, Perkins confessed that he and his accomplice were responsible. He claimed that they sneaked out of their homes in the middle of the night, got drunk, and then set the apartment stairwell on fire with gasoline. He claimed that they set the fire to "scare somebody." His accomplice also admitted to being involved. Perkins was tried as an adult, convicted and sentenced to twelve years in prison in August of 2004. The accomplice was sentenced to juvenile detention until the age of eighteen. Both have since been released. Authorities do not believe that they are connected to the note demanding money.
Those police are stupid. They had Dale's killer, why would someone tear down a missing person's poster if he didn't harbor hate and did not want him to be found? Those are not the normal actions of anyone. I'm surprised Dale's wife didn't push for this man to be investigated. It makes me wonder was there an affair between her and the mystery man. That story just doesn't add up.
In my life so far I have only met 2 people who had childhood leukemia. Both were raised on farms in different towns in the sane county in CA. There is also arsenic in the well water. (as well as occasional farmland (pesticide, fertilizer) contamination during big rainstorms). Maybe combining those is the perfect storm. We also had problems with ecoli and stomach bugs from water contamination from animal pasture into well water. It wasn't a yearly event, but some years got more rain than others.

The fact that the wife went to bed and didn't look for Dale that night and waited until the next morning is highly suspicious to me. It makes me think she's involved. Perhaps the "stranded motorist" was a mistress and the wife found out and disappeared her husband.

so? if there was anything in the water or air the whole time, the cancer cases would be constant, not a cluster. the cluster points to a single exposure at the same time, which was almost certainly a large benzene leak. benzene is volatile and evaporates/dissipates quickly, which means that all the tests they did afterwards were useless.
Don't be ridiculous. There would millions more cases if it was caused by vaccines. It is probably environmental.
