The Berrymount story was evil, my father died from Alzheimer’s and in watching how helpless my father became in helping my mother take care of him it’s apparent that we need laws that are much more strict to protect our elderly.
I’m sorry to read this. I saw what Alzheimer’s did to my grandmother, and it was outright horrific. My father, her son, had died some 4 years prior, but she kept insisting to me that my father was “away at college”.
In her mind, she must have thought it was the early 1970’s or so for the timeline to match up.
She had no idea at all who I was. That hurt quite a bit, but I knew that if she had her mental wherewithal, she woulda felt 1000 times worse about it than I did.
Charlie Best and his family were the most generous, lovely human beings. What a beautiful story of compassion!
Wow life without the possibility of parole shit that means the'll be out next week
Seems to be the reoccuring nightmare of the tragic "justice" system. Get 35 years for murder and rape, then released 5 years later.....WT actual F!!!!!!
Too much technicality BS in the modern justice system
17:56 a guy with a sweater wrapped around his neck shooting a gun is a little amusing i have to admit 😂
A man of his stature needs suitable accommodations.
@@buckeyeschmave I guess 😂
I know, sweetheart.
...shooting that teeny, tiny gun.
That is not a teeny tiny gun lady that is a 38 will do about as much damage to a person as needed with a gun@@puppiesarepower3682
Glad the last episode had a happy ending.
One of my relatives fell for the same bullcrap. A guy gained her trust and then took her for everything she had.
After my dad passed someone tricked my step mom into signing her home over, it's horrible 🙏
Now that's one Hell of a great man if we could all just believe in each other..
“Well bred” a different time I guess
Those poor young boys & what they went through
So they left the lights on for four months at Berrymount and that age, she still had a mortgage to pay? What??
ya bizarre. if she was so wealthy how was she still paying a mortgage. maybe they meant property taxes.
@@drinkingpoolwater That makes a lot more sense. I never thought much about those statements until seeing the segment for the third time anyway.
I thought they said that Tondevald refinanced the house so that's where mortgage came from?
Charlie Best god bless him. And his family.
dan tomevold faked his death for sure. he’s probably on a beach right now still laughing about this
I think you are so right.
@@christy19802660123 i dont even remember making this comment. i'll have to watch this episode again.
That dad reminds me of my ex spouse, a real jerk. So sad, for the children.
It was absolutely cruel the way this mother was treated.
That poor old woman , she was gonna give him the money in the end . Greedy bastard.
Gotta feel sorry for the father of those little girls , he kept trying and trying for them to stay with him
44:00 - Charlie Best held on long enough to see his girl come home! This one always makes me cry.
Even though Vietnamese, he certainly looked like his father.
These con people that go after the elderly need to have more stricker punishment they cannot recoup 😡🔥
Children are not weapons
Knoxville is a pretty small town
What’s up with these people putting kids in orphanages when there were people who wanted to care for them.
He took the kids away from there mother as a way to get even with her. That’s nasty
EVIL 😡
@@stephaniecoggins733 Well, the husband was off serving his country and fighting in a war, and his wife took it upon herself to start fucking their neighbor.
I’m not saying the husband was completely innocent, but her behavior was outright appalling.
@@Fecalage thanks 👍
@@stephaniecoggins733 Unsure why, but you’re welcome? I hope you and your family had an awesome holiday.
Women do that all the time. What makes you so surprised?
If you think Dan Tondevold committed suicide, I've two or three bridges to sell you. He had a way out, and he was the type of person dying to get to Europe. Does anyone else think the two aides were a little heartless about the whole thing? Oh yeah before I forget, that's one dumb coroner.
um, i have never heard of an execution style suicide. Well done Dan tondervold, although it is not so difficult to fool the U.S police at most things. Yes, i just said the U.S authority is crap :P
P.S- Charlies Angels story was a solid tear jerker. Really beautiful. I also learnt that it takes a mass depression to make people kind and generous enough to take in absolute strangers.
US authority is a joke.
What do we need to talk about?
RIP Robert Stack
@@eddiesroom1868 indeed. Robert stack will always live on as a legend. Oh, we need to talk about practically everything 🥶
@Ashley Delgado 🤣i think you're on the wrong page...
the acting lmao 😂😂😂
interesting how rich, old ladies ALWAYS have FLAMING gay male friends. ever notice that pattern??
LoL 😂
Goofballs robbing a video store I bet they didn't even get 200 bucks
Why the TV company, doesn't make a studio with roof, that the narrator can work without a raincoat?
To add effect duh
Lost Loves is always so boring. I hate those segments.
Romance is lovely
We did not have Facebook back then.
i love those. this show was soo good at bouncing back between two intense emotional states - fear and sadness.
The husband goes off to serve his country and fight in the war, and his wife rewards his heroism by fucking the neighbor and destroying their family.
He was only gone for a little more than a year, yet, he’s somehow the bad guy.
Unbelievable.
