Hi Polo, just found your channel today and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I just saw your Springsteen reaction where you said you were looking for great saxaphone so I want to suggest you do a reaction to Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty. It will change your life. ruclips.net/video/Fo6aKnRnBxM/видео.html Oh and since I'm aware you love Freddie Mercury and Queen you MUST MUST MUST go find John Farnham You're the Voice. It's jokingly referred to as Australia's REAL National Anthem. This version is probably the best to start with.. he has a voice to rival Freddie's. ruclips.net/video/6m2m_9Uijso/видео.html Much love x
Can we get a Haystak reaction? He's been in the rap game for 20+ years, got jelly roll on the map even if they did have falling out, always has bars, and can tell a story, but he's never talked about at least not in a positive light but I feel he needs more recognition
People hate on Avenged Sevenfold and talk about how they “wish” they sounded like Metallica…but fail to realize that A7X are actually really huge fans of Metallica, Guns n Roses, Pantera etc.: which is why their music is so heavily inspired by those bands. They grew up listening to them and wanted to be like them. So yea maybe they wish” they sounded like Metallica or whatever, but that’s because they respect them so much and without them to look up to, they (A7X), probably would not be playing music in the first place. Glad you gave this song a chance and listened to them. ALL their albums are great and they didn’t always sound like Metallica. Their older stuff is actually more hardcore but still amazing. 🤘🏻
Metallica is my all time favorite. But i don't get the hate here either. Love their sound. It unique enough NOT be a Metallica clone. They have a lot of diversity in their music. My favorite is Buried Alive and the patriotic vibe of Critical Acclaim (not to mention the lead in on that song is epic AF.
And why all of us love them too! They are them…inspired by…. Not too many artists now can claim complete originality. That is ok! Make it sound awesome! We music lovers will be there!
You need to listen to So Far Away! A different vibe, slower, and a greater range to the voice! I think you'll love it. A love letter to the REV, their drummer who passed. Cheers!
Someone asked once if this song was about God but the singer explained this song and others on this album have to do with losing someone near and dear.
Avenge Sevenfold is one of the few newer metal bands i like. Nightmare is my favorite track, especially this time of year. I have it on a few Halloween playlists on spotify.
They have a song called Nightmare that always seems to get the biggest crowd response in concert. I saw them back in March live in Columbus and they were amazing. Their guitar player Syn (Synyster Gates) was sick and performed the entire concert without missing a beat. They literally had a bucket on stage for him to throw up if needed. One of the top guitar players I've ever seen live. Other songs to check out would be So Far Away, Bat Country, The Stage, Shepherd of Fire, Afterlife, Nobody, and Cosmic. If you really want a song of theirs to sound anything like Metallica, react to This Means War. I'm probably angering the chat with that, but its the only song I feel that gets anywhere close to Metallica.
I was the kid buying Maiden and Metallica LPs in Record Store in the early/mid 80s... Love these guys because in my opinion they carried the Metal Flag for the next generation 🤘🤘
This is my favorite A7X tune... It just has so many parts to it that mesh sooo well! Nightmare and Bat Country are with the same type of vibe, but "Hail to the King" just rules!!! Pun intended! Peace to you..
This song was at the end of (after credits) CoD Black Ops (2?), the video for it in the game was using the characters from the game as members of the band.
Bat Country, Critical Acclaim, Almost Easy, Scream, After Life, A Little Piece of Heaven, Nightmare, Buried Alive are all great track from A7X. You'll want to bump all of them in the 4Runner
He grew up idolizing James Hetfield and Axl Rose…that’s why I love this band, like a mix of GNR and Metallica, with a little MEGADETH and Iron Maiden thrown in…this whole album was them paying homage to those exact bands…there’s a song meant to sound just like those bands…there like 6-7 of them on this record…track number 3, forget the name is them paying tribute to Guns N Roses, sick song…they all are
2023's 10th anniversary of Avenged Sevenfold's sixth studio album, 'Hail To The King' on double gold vinyl release - epic does not do it justice. This song is so much fuller than digital can reproduce - if you own a turntable and like the band, do yourself a favour and grab a copy
So this song is great for experiencing the band's musicianship and overall sound, but "Bat Country" and "Nightmare" are way better at showcasing M. Shadows' voice. You'll want to give those a listen.
I sold all my DK records, thinking that I only listened to it to piss off everyone- then much later, California Uber Allies was stuck in my head, so I had to revisit them. I became a fan again- I guess I had to mature more 🤣
Excellent song, always gets me fired up! Along the same lines I would try Godsmack - When Legends Rise and also Volbeat - The Devils Bleeding Crown. So much adrenaline!
You wanna go back to medieval times, check out Dawn Of Victory by Rhapsody (of Fire). Some of the most killer riffs ever and you'll feel like you're about to charge into the Battle at the Gate of Mordor. Intense as hell!
Just listened to your comments on Sound of silence and Bridge over troubled water by Simon and Garfunkel and would be interested in your reaction to Holding back the years by Simply Red (Mick Hucknall). Think it will blow you away if you haven't already covered that one. Also Woman in chains by Tears for fears & There's a woman in Somalia by Sade. Peace from the UK.
The best phrases to describe Iron Maiden's sound would be either 'refined' or 'educated' when you were searching for adequate terms to compare A7X to Metallica and Iron Maiden
Bro you need to listen to volbeat (the devil's bleeding crown, perhaps) or sabaton (any number of songs really, winged hussars, to hell and back, bismarck, primo victoria, etc.)
They released a new album last year. It is super experimental and a piece of art. Please check out the song Cosmic, I prefer the visualization and lyrics video over the stop animation/cgi video which feels distracting and somewhat silly.
Please check out their song “Cosmic” from their recent album released last summer. It is super experimental and a piece of art. I prefer the visualization and lyrics video over the stop animation/cgi video which feels distracting and somewhat silly.
They matured.. I know them from there older works, higher pitch and faster pace.. I dig their sound, but i don't like the screaming, so this is more mature in that sense. It is not close to Metallica in any way, but i do get why you would say that (Riff) And as you said, it sound like a (movie) theme song (90's-early2000's) Most find Metallica to be the pinnacle, but for me they are nr2, Godsmack is nr 1 imo, because better lyrics/voice.
A7X said they did this album in honor of all the bands they grew up listening to, writing as if they were a part of that era, or maybe just took direct inspiration for each song, from those bands. So a lot of the songs have that older metal feel.
Polo listen to batcountry nothing like this way harder and I’ve been around for 54 years since metallica was metallica and these guys sound nothing like Metallica they’re their own thing. Keep up the good work polo.
Not gonna lie, the first time I heard this one on the radio, my reaction was .. oh shit, Metallica got pissed again. I was very surprised when I found out tit wasn't them.
The Rev (drummer) recorded their first album in one sitting. He wanted to do it on this one too, but WB didn't let him 😂 also, check out Blinded in Chains from that same album. Drum goes really hard on that one too
Was a Sub ( pulled out ) Please take this with a grain of salt - Why do most of you ( Reactors ) Pause & Talk so Much ? Open your Ears and Mind - Form a opinion & Then share your Thoughts !
This is a new song for me and I find it weak in every aspect of what I believe a 4Runner song should be. Bass, drums, guitars and vocals. As an old timer, I'm 65, I still buy what I like and I wouldn't buy this. I have all the Metallica cd's and vinyl. If you want something that cooks and is in the sword and sorcery vein, try Emerald by Thin Lizzy or Samurai by Michael Schenker Group. At least you'll get great guitar work. Yeah, but who listens to old people.

Listen to unholy confessions!!!

"If Metallica and Iron Maiden had a baby"...Dude, I think you nailed it there.
That's a cool idea

The talent and originality of this band are inspiring, makes me believe there is hope for non computer generated real music foe the future
The Stage is a MUST. So relevant today
even moreso now on Nov 6th.
You need to listen to So Far Away! A different vibe, slower, and a greater range to the voice! I think you'll love it. A love letter to the REV, their drummer who passed. Cheers!
Absolutely, if there's any song to hear from them it's this one.
Involves tears every time I hear the heart wrenching emotion
So glad you dipped your toes into A7X! Next up, you should check out Shepherd of Fire, Bat Country, and Beast and the Harlot.
This song just gives me flashes of Game of Thrones!! Can’t help it
The Stage
Someone asked once if this song was about God but the singer explained this song and others on this album have to do with losing someone near and dear.
The rev
@@theredpillneo2296 I thought that was the Nightmare album? Is the Hail to The King album also for him?
@@Reineerus_The_Rat in my opinion most likely
@@theredpillneo2296 I could see it. Acid Rain is clearly about loss, and it would make sense for it to be about Rev.
Avenge Sevenfold is one of the few newer metal bands i like. Nightmare is my favorite track, especially this time of year. I have it on a few Halloween playlists on spotify.
Gota add little piece of heaven in there!
If you like this riff you should check out "Buried Alive." Very badass song.

3:50 It was used as theme music for a while in wrestling, HHH if I'm not mistaken.
Still making amazing content, I think your analysis of this song is highly accurate and relatable. Keep em coming.
I was the kid buying Maiden and Metallica LPs in Record Store in the early/mid 80s... Love these guys because in my opinion they carried the Metal Flag for the next generation 🤘🤘

Grandma can do something with that 😁 I think I hear a rush sound? 2:00am. What do I no❤✌️ Polo...
I got goosebumps and teared up.
Love these guys thanks for sharing
There is a video of this song with vikings episodes, the best way to listen to this song, Hail to the king Ragnar !
I saw it years ago when Vikings was really taking off. You're right epic and atmospheric!
This song was at the end of (after credits) CoD Black Ops (2?), the video for it in the game was using the characters from the game as members of the band.
Thank you for the reaction
Bat Country, Critical Acclaim, Almost Easy, Scream, After Life, A Little Piece of Heaven, Nightmare, Buried Alive are all great track from A7X. You'll want to bump all of them in the 4Runner
Bruhhhh he has to hear almost everything else before he experiences a little piece of heaven.
Awesome video.
Amazing guitars and drums, Final boss music
oh yes here we go

love seeing the spinning contraption reaction to a7x too🤣🤣
Love his face when synyster gates starts going in
checkin in...
You must see the theme (video)... "Saxons and Vikings" ... by Amon Amarth (viking metal band) vs Saxon (old heavy metal band).
So this song is great for experiencing the band's musicianship and overall sound, but "Bat Country" and "Nightmare" are way better at showcasing M. Shadows' voice. You'll want to give those a listen.
It’s like “A knights Tale” in the beginning when they have a joust to “we will rock you”
Helluva way to wake up 😬
I sold all my DK records, thinking that I only listened to it to piss off everyone- then much later, California Uber Allies was stuck in my head, so I had to revisit them.

Someone put this to clips of Ragnar Lothbrock (however you spell it) from Vikings, and it's awesome.
Fire 🔥
You should listen to Avenged Sevenfold's The Stage. The video for The Stage is so damn good, very imaginative 😊
This is probably their best song.
If you haven't heard it yet, you should check out Killswitch Engage..."the end of heartache"
I said this song is so badass right when you said "Badass riff"
Funny you say it sounds like a theme song, there is a video of this song for a ragnork tv series
For guitars I recommend “afterlife”, for feelings I recommend “so far away”, but only the official video for that one.
You should check out their song planets. It's an underrated song of theirs imo 😊
Agreed, amazing track
check out every last track, from each album
they always make the last song somewhat closer in sound and theme to their next album
You're definitely getting it - exactly why us longtime fans are so unimpressed with modern music.
Always think about roni james Dio. Run to the Hills
The best phrases to describe Iron Maiden's sound would be either 'refined' or 'educated' when you were searching for adequate terms to compare A7X to Metallica and Iron Maiden
.Thanks.
The doodad cam!
❤❤❤
You should check out this means war by them next
As a cod zombies fan it brings back memories
Funny you said the song sounds like theme music. First time I heard it I thought it'd be perfect entrance music for Triple H. Those who know, know.
Bro you need to listen to volbeat (the devil's bleeding crown, perhaps) or sabaton (any number of songs really, winged hussars, to hell and back, bismarck, primo victoria, etc.)
If this was a theme for a hero, it would be for Simon Belmont.
4:20 what a horrible night to have a curse...
This song always made me think of game of thrones lol
It would be a great theme music for a WWE wrestler.
I find the singer kinda reminds me of Myles Kennedy from Alter Bridge, Slash solo stuff.
Check out the live video for This Means War🔥
Should of watched video brings the song out
I prefer old A7X (mainly their first two albums) en they were metalcore. Good reaction video though.
They matured..
I know them from there older works, higher pitch and faster pace..
I dig their sound, but i don't like the screaming, so this is more mature in that sense.

to be fair this s not the type of metal I usually go for but I do gotta give the due respect to the greats like Avenged Sevenfold
The drums stand out without a lot of fancy flourishes. Definitely a Metallica vibe.
Not gonna lie, the first time I heard this one on the radio, my reaction was .. oh shit, Metallica got pissed again. I was very surprised when I found out tit wasn't them.
@poloreacts27 have you reacted to LED Zeppelin’s “Traveling Riverside Blues” yet? Check it out when you can. Thank you.
I'm not a huge fan of this band, but The Beast and the Harlot drumming is ridiculous.
The Rev (drummer) recorded their first album in one sitting.
He wanted to do it on this one too, but WB didn't let him 😂
also, check out Blinded in Chains from that same album. Drum goes really hard on that one too
125th like, please react to ICE NINE KlLLS - Farewell II Flesh
It's a Metallica Ronnie James Dio mix
It's okay, but just okay.
Could you react to $uicideboy$- burgundy?
can you pls react to heavy is the crown by linkin park
Please react to Jackson Brown The Load out & Stay live. 1977
Metallica overrated af, avenged sevenfold better then them in every way
It makes me think about the government right now. Do what we say or else.
I once heard this band described as douche metal. 😆
Love the music to avenge sevenfold, but the singers voice annoys the hell out of me.
This songs ok for one of their most mainstream, but man, they got way better than this.
M shadows is way more talented than that sellout and the band is far better.
I know you like rap Polo, but I would not consider you a rap fan :p
This song always seemed to me to be influenced by a Rainbow song, Kill the King.
Only because it has "king" in it, right? omg
@@xDporrada No. It has to do with the guitar line playing over the main riff in the beginning of
both songs. Omg.

Like Metallica with a good drummer...Mrs. Ulrich.." You boys be nice to my Lars"

Not ones with terrible opinions like yours
And no they don't sound like Metallica, i cant stand Metallica but i like A7X
They do in this album, which is godawful except for a couple of songs. And I'm saying this as someone whose favorite band is A7X.
Jesus is King
