Endorphin's unique posing looks beautiful. I don't think that's what endorphins mean, but I didn't expect the joints to move so smoothly to be so beautiful, I'd like to try it, too. Anyway, I am always a fashionista ^^ ❤

Hi, thank you for another great video! 💖 I've got two of these bodies from Aliexpress as well and they work good with soft and small vintage Barbie heads for me. They are so great to pose, we can only wish some more flexibility for the cheast, too 🙃 I like making ooak dolls as well but all three Barbie heads I've ordered had some issues with the hair and vinyl so I did reroot them. I was happy with my purchase anyway as the faces were very nice. And Chelsea heads from AE had excellent hair quality after washing them with hot water and styling 🥰

I totally get that because the neck of the heads themselves were built a bit differently back then. The bodies are nice and I also hope for a bust joint... and maybe also for a variant with a slightly longer neck 😉
I watched the video to the end and I enjoyed watching it. ❤😊 I liked the new body, especially the hip joints and how it moves. It reminds me of BJD dolls, but there are two things I didn't like about this body, which is that there is no joint under the chest and the neck is short, as you mentioned in the video. That adds a lot to the possibility and makes everything more modern and less stiff... I like that! But after playing with Midge for a while, I really like her! Really enjoy your Aliexpress reviews! Have you thought about using a strong magnet to get the neck peg close to the opening? Maybe then you can use a needle nosed plier to get out the neck peg. As for the Barbie head sitting too low, maybe you can add a pea sized amount of "Poster Tack" on top of the peg and then put on the Barbie head. It may offer a enough hold while raising the head on the peg so the neck can appear longer while it will also allow for good movement. This has worked for me in my headswapping adventures when I have trouble fitting heads to different neg pegs.

The idea with the putty is also good, but I don't think that it would stick on the metal. My idea was to use a longer screw plus Milliput or Apoxy on top as an alternative neck peg. But the screws at my local hardware store were not long enough, mainly even shorter than the original one 🙄 Sometimes, it simply takes a bit longer to find the best solution, but this issue is definitely one that can be fixed 😁
@@Endollphins Some times I find that the fun in playing with dolls is find solutions to these problems. By the way, poster tack can stick to metal. The good thing is that it holds enough and it sticks to all kinds of materials and it is non-damaging. I also use just a tiny bit for my dolls to hold small items such as phones, cups or purses. It is also good if you apply just a tiny bit to the bottom of doll shoes so they don't slide around standing on a doll stand. Good luck with finding a solution that works as those bodies are good alternatives to MTM bodies.
You are right 😅 I also use poster putty for metal things, but sometimes it does not want to stick. Especially when it is very smooth. But that's maybe unique to the putty I use. The fun of fixing things always depends on time 😁 But at some point, I will fix it 🤣 And they are definitely an interesting alternative to the standard mtm^^
Great styling! The BMR Midge has to be my favorite. It's such a beautiful head sculpt/skin tone combo, and the outfit you put her in fits her perfectly. I know you said she was not your favorite lol, but she definitely was the standout of the group in my opinion 🤩

I don't think this is a negative video but an honest review. Maybe you can get some plastic screws and replace the metal screws? I would look at a hardware or pool cleaning and / or maintenance store for plastic screws. Just a suggestion. I am sure you are thinking along those lines already.

Love your video! Let me ask, on these bodies, couldnt you use that blyth gadget that they attach on the neck joint so you can use a more variety of heads on them?

That's why the screw should not come off even though it is short. The Snow white head sits also well, but I am pretty sure that it sits not completely down the peg... do you know how I mean it? It is a bit harder to explain 😅 The neckhole of the Disney heads are way smaller than Barbie and also thicker. Therefore, the neck sits solid on the peg, but it is not completely sunk into the head. The Vinyl of Snows head is harder than Annas and that's the reason why her head fits save on the neck and did not come off as Annas... I hope that makes sense. I really have to find fitting screws that are somewhat longer 🥲
The bodies are really not bad for their price 😅 The material is quite nice and the movement is good. The neck thing is only one thing... it's an important thing, but there is still more on the pro side than on the con side 🤣
