I found that wrapping the ball plug with a generous amount of PTFE/Teflon tape (used in plumbing) helped with loose fitting barbie heads. It also forces it to sit a bit lower on the neck and avoid the giraffe effect. Also realised warming the neck socket on the head sometimes reduces the loose fit as previous body mightve stretched it out.

I could imagine that the soft parts would take the dye but not so sure about the joints... I still need to dye some other dolls and I can throw in the extra bust I have. It will take a while, but I'll let you know how it went 😁

Ok, about shoes. Some shoes from monster high, will be fine, old hasbro shoezies, could be find on eBay, old Skipper flat feet shoes, probably some shoes from mini fashion, zuru snickers, and you can also use some bratz boots, that are with holes for the joint, if you take a feet of.
I wish made to move were as robust as these dolls! The only thing keeping me with made to move is the mini brands shoes! They add bulk to their feet and I like it

Thank you for the detailed review of these bodies. They are so interesting and they they look so good after you styled them. Looking at them nude made them look out of proportion for a "fashion" doll. But dressed, they were transformed. But overall, I still like the "supermodel" bodies the best, and after viewing your video, I got a Kissmela body. I really like it except I got the older version so the hands do not come off for dressing. I may get the new version of Kissmela the next time. I also got a couple of bodies that is very similar to the Mitzi doll. They were very well made and I like them very much but they lack the posability of Kissmela.

But still, these super model bodies do have a totally different style and their own charm. The Kissmela bodies are beautiful! I simply love the joint style they use, I wish they would have more skincolors. They do have a lot of attitude while posing! Very special! Which head did you use? Are you happy with the skin match? I am still unsure if Kissmela or the double jointed Mengf is my favorite. I like the look and the colors of the Mengf, but Kissmela is so unique... I love the fact that they can lift up their upper torso while lying down. The action doll girls are very separated from that. But I do like the realistic and non realistic mix 😁 I wish we would get that kind of quality also in fashion doll form. @@Endollphins I used the Defa Lucy doll with bob hairstyle on the Kismmela body and it is a perfect match. I have a ton of other doll heads that I plan on trying. I am very familiar with male action figures because before Mattel made the MTM Ken body, I used action doll bodies for my male dolls but I never considered any female action doll bodies. I wish Mattel would continue to improve and innovate with articulated bodies/dolls as there is clearly a demand for it in the collector community.
The head with that body is a cool idea! 😃 I still think that the Defa Lucy head is lighter than the body, but a 100% match is very rare when mixing different companies. And also the purple top is not a perfect match... Overall, I think skincolor matches are always also a part of personal preference and also lighting 😅 The thing with the girl action doll bodies was pure coincidence... I never planned to put a Barbie head on it. But somehow, it happened after not finding an action doll head that I liked 😁 With the boys... So far, I have not found something I really like. My goal is to find at least one that could go with heads in the skincolor of Barbie Looks Model No 5... Wish me luck with that 😄
Hello! I just purchased the 201 body because of your recommendation! Im so excited to see this doll in person. I was wondering if there was any way to change out the feet to a ball joint and if so how. Im really nervous changing out the feet to heels because I have heard from other reviewers as well saying that it is extremely difficult. Thank you for your video. I never knew such a doll existed!
Thank you for letting me know 😃 I really hope you like your new addition to your collection. At least I have good news for you, changing the feet gets simpler every time you do it. It's only very hard on the first try. In my first Worldbox video, I heated up the figure to remove the feet, but I think after doing it so often, it sometimes is easier to do it if the figure is not warmed up. You just have to place your hand tightly at the joint one on the foot and on the foot itself, then just twist and pull. If it does not work, you could place the doll in a plastic bag and put her into hot water... only hot, not boiling. After a few minutes, it should be good to go. I also got the recommendation to use padded tweezers, but so far, I was able to manage it without. 😅 Only one of the bodies was a real struggle in the beginning... and it still is. I guess my first wide hipped girl just doesn't like me 🤣🤣🤣 I hope your girl is more willing to participate... at least over time 😊

The Barbie Looks 24 Simone is pretty close in color to the pink tie dye. She is maybe a hint darker than the pink haired Daisy from the video. It is not a horrible match, but sadly also not good. The undertone of the Barbie is way more red and the action girl too grey. The Shani is really the only exception I was able to find for a Barbie head. And that's only because of her embedded freckles 😅
You can warm her up in a plastic bag and warm water. A heating mat is also an option. With a little elbow grease, you will be able to get it on and off. The slogan crazy durable is really true. It is very durable and very unlikable to break while taking it a part. 😆
@Endollphins I tried so many things, including heating it up, but in the end, I had to loosen the screws inside the back and hope it doesn't pop out again.
Then you definitely have a flawed item! Never had that problem before. I mean, I only have 2 D busts, one in pale and one in tan. So, who knows if that problem happens often or not... hopefully not 😥 It's good to know that it can happen, but it is a bummer that is happend to you! I hope you still like your new girl 😅

If they had custom neck-peg options or a means to switch out neck pegs for barbie sized (which fits a LOT of heads) they'd be perfect. (... ok, with the rotating thigh joint like made to move they'd be perfect, zomg, they would be too powerful) But I still adore them. I have the big hips one with a mermaids doll head with black loks plaits, and even nude she looks like some gorgeous middle eastern dancer, she needs jewellery and diaphanous flowing silks ^^ Aaaand I figured out how to custom the neck pegs anyway because I'm a maniac with art tools xD
So far, I had no issues with the neck peck. The bigger Barbie heads are fitting just fine... and I love a long neck anyway 😁 But Odile is on the smaller head side for a Barbie. It's great that you were able to create the doll you wanted! Mods are always the way to get what you want 😉 I am sure your girl will look awesome as a Middle Eastern dancer❣️

Und color infusion shoes passen vielleicht, da sie phicen recht gut passen? Und könnte IT Japan skin heads passen? Ich finde gerade diese Reviews sehr interessant. Ich suche schon so lange nach einem Body der für mein Mini me passt aber einen Fashion Doll Head nutzen kann. Normale Fashion Doll bodies sehen einfach nicht richtig für mich aus und der curvy Barbie Body ist auch nicht richtig , da er gleichzeitig zu viel und zu wenig für meinen Body Type hat . Action figure bodies eröffnen einen ganz neuen doll bod horizon. Ich war nur unsicher, welchen Body ich nehmen soll. Jetzt denke ich der 201 mit einer bigger bust wäre toll für mein Projekt. Ich liebe, dass diese bodies einen kleinen tummy haben. Die meisten Frauen haben selbst wenn sie fit sind eine kleine Rundung da wo wir die Gebärmutter drunter haben und es ist schön das in den bodies zu sehen. Ich sehe so viele junge Frauen , die zu mir in die Sprechstunde kommen weil sie denken ihr kleiner tummy ist falsch und ich muss ihnen erklären l dass sie ein Faust großes Organ da drin haben und eine kleine Schicht Fett noch dazu für Hormon Produktion und zum Schutz und das es ganz normal ist. Das ist etwas, dass mich an Fashion dolls etwas stört….
Ich muss gestehen von Integrity habe ich nur sehr wenig Ahnung. Bis jetzt habe ich nur 3 wirklich alte Köpfe und eine ganze Puppe von 2003, die aber bereits seit fast 18 Jahren im Karton vor sich hin staubt 😅 Mir gefallen die IT Gesichter einfach nicht so sehr und die Wimpern machen die Sache nicht besser 😬 Deswegen weiß ich bei IT nur das, was ich selbst nachschaue. Da bin ich bei den Schuhen leider gar keine Hilfe. Ich meine der Japan skintone ist der, der mehr zu mtm purple top passt, oder? In dem Fall könnte ein Kopf farblich passen. Ich glaube aber, dass das IT Vinyl zu hart ist um auf dem Nacken zu sitzen ohne einen gebastelten neck connector. Ich habe mal einen alten (aus budget doll Zeiten) Kopf draufgesetzt und der hält und sitzt leider gar nicht. Ich kann die nächsten Tage einfach mal ein Paar Fotos machen und im Community tab posten. Vielleicht ist das hilfreich 😅 Ich weiß nie genau was ich von den allgemeinen Schönheitsidealen halten soll. Meiner Meinung nach ist Schönheit keine Modeerscheinung und ich finde es traurig, dass viele Frauen sich derart dem Wahn unterwerfen. Für mich sind Puppen schönes Plastik und natürlich unnatürlich schön 🤣 Aber ich sehe die weibliche Darstellung in Puppenform sehr differenziert. Deswegen möchte ich gar kein 1:1 Mini Me... so ein bisschen ähnlich reicht mir 😁 Ich finde jedenfalls sehr bewundernswert, dass du Aufklärungsarbeit bei den Jurgen Frauen betreibst. Aufklären ist immer der richtige Weg etwas zu ändern und in diesem Fall macht es vielleicht Klick und diejenige lernt sich mehr zu akzeptieren. Find ich super❣️

Er ist nur etwas größer als Standard Barbie aber hat mehr boobs also alle anderen und Barbie macht überhaupt keine großen boobs mehr. Und IT hands sind sehr schön. Ich style und fotografiere gerne meine dolls aber mit IT bin ich wenig kreativ weil sie einfach schon jemand sind und ich mich kaum traue etwas zu ändern. Ich suche auch keine exakte mini me, mehr eine repräsentative Film in meinen miniverse für mich. Es wäre wahrscheinlich ganz einfach wenn asch und dunkel blond nicht so extrem selten in dolls wäre. Und ja Japan Skin von IT passt zur lila top mtm und den tennis doll Body. Ich habe angefangen einzelne IT Köpfe zu kaufen und suche jetzt bodies. Sie passen auf phicen und hot toys bodies. Mal sehen mit worldbox
Ich mache morgen mal Bilder mit den alten IT Köpfen. Die Proportionen müssten ja trotzdem hinhauen. Ich hab mir eine nervige Erkältung eingefangen, aber morgen muss ich sowieso filmen und die Köpfe hab ich schnell rausgesucht 😉 Die East59 bodies finde ich auch schön. Es ist nur nicht einfach welche hier zu bekommen. Zumindest nicht für einen einigermaßen anständigen Preis. Bei den Händen kann ich nur zustimmen. Ich habe zwar nur Mengf Hände aber die sind den IT Händen schon ähnlich und so schöne lange Finger haben etwas! Die WorldBox bodies sind eine Sache für sich. Ganz anders als alles andere... aber jeder Stil hat seinen eigenen Charm. Es kommt immer auf das Gesicht und den Gesamteindruck an... ich könnte gar nicht sagen ob ich einen Körpertyp am liebsten mag. Overall, no heads are fine for me 😅 But I would HIGHLY appreciate darker skintones. Regarding action figures, the lack of different skintones is a real bummer to me 😮💨. WorldBox is still young, especially when it comes to the girl bodies. Maybe we will get more diversity in the future. At least I have seen full sets with WorldBox bodies lately. But so far, nothing I really fell in love with... but that can always change 😁

Have you tried the new barbie looks 24 head for the tan AT201?
The Barbie Looks 24 Simone is pretty close in color to the pink tie dye. She is maybe a hint darker than the pink haired Daisy from the video. It is not a horrible match, but sadly also not good. The undertone of the Barbie is way more red and the action girl too grey. The Shani is really the only exception I was able to find for a Barbie head. And that's only because of her embedded freckles 😅

You can warm her up in a plastic bag and warm water. A heating mat is also an option. With a little elbow grease, you will be able to get it on and off. The slogan crazy durable is really true. It is very durable and very unlikable to break while taking it a part. 😆
@Endollphins I tried so many things, including heating it up, but in the end, I had to loosen the screws inside the back and hope it doesn't pop out again.
Then you definitely have a flawed item! Never had that problem before. I mean, I only have 2 D busts, one in pale and one in tan. So, who knows if that problem happens often or not... hopefully not 😥

Sometimes I like the Worldbox bodies with an action doll head and sometimes I like them better with Barbie heads😉 So far, I have one action figure head on a Worldbox body it is the super duck sdh040b. I made a video about her and I do really enjoy her on the AT203 body 😁
If they had custom neck-peg options or a means to switch out neck pegs for barbie sized (which fits a LOT of heads) they'd be perfect. (... ok, with the rotating thigh joint like made to move they'd be perfect, zomg, they would be too powerful) But I still adore them. I have the big hips one with a mermaids doll head with black loks plaits, and even nude she looks like some gorgeous middle eastern dancer, she needs jewellery and diaphanous flowing silks ^^
Aaaand I figured out how to custom the neck pegs anyway because I'm a maniac with art tools xD
So far, I had no issues with the neck peck. The bigger Barbie heads are fitting just fine... and I love a long neck anyway 😁
But Odile is on the smaller head side for a Barbie. It's great that you were able to create the doll you wanted! Mods are always the way to get what you want 😉

Ich finde gerade diese Reviews sehr interessant. Ich suche schon so lange nach einem Body der für mein Mini me passt aber einen Fashion Doll Head nutzen kann. Normale Fashion Doll bodies sehen einfach nicht richtig für mich aus und der curvy Barbie Body ist auch nicht richtig , da er gleichzeitig zu viel und zu wenig für meinen Body Type hat .
Action figure bodies eröffnen einen ganz neuen doll bod horizon. Ich war nur unsicher, welchen Body ich nehmen soll. Jetzt denke ich der 201 mit einer bigger bust wäre toll für mein Projekt.
Ich liebe, dass diese bodies einen kleinen tummy haben. Die meisten Frauen haben selbst wenn sie fit sind eine kleine Rundung da wo wir die Gebärmutter drunter haben und es ist schön das in den bodies zu sehen. Ich sehe so viele junge Frauen , die zu mir in die Sprechstunde kommen weil sie denken ihr kleiner tummy ist falsch und ich muss ihnen erklären l dass sie ein Faust großes Organ da drin haben und eine kleine Schicht Fett noch dazu für Hormon Produktion und zum Schutz und das es ganz normal ist. Das ist etwas, dass mich an Fashion dolls etwas stört….
Ich muss gestehen von Integrity habe ich nur sehr wenig Ahnung. Bis jetzt habe ich nur 3 wirklich alte Köpfe und eine ganze Puppe von 2003, die aber bereits seit fast 18 Jahren im Karton vor sich hin staubt 😅
Mir gefallen die IT Gesichter einfach nicht so sehr und die Wimpern machen die Sache nicht besser 😬 Deswegen weiß ich bei IT nur das, was ich selbst nachschaue. Da bin ich bei den Schuhen leider gar keine Hilfe. Ich meine der Japan skintone ist der, der mehr zu mtm purple top passt, oder? In dem Fall könnte ein Kopf farblich passen. Ich glaube aber, dass das IT Vinyl zu hart ist um auf dem Nacken zu sitzen ohne einen gebastelten neck connector. Ich habe mal einen alten (aus budget doll Zeiten) Kopf draufgesetzt und der hält und sitzt leider gar nicht. Ich kann die nächsten Tage einfach mal ein Paar Fotos machen und im Community tab posten. Vielleicht ist das hilfreich 😅
Ich weiß nie genau was ich von den allgemeinen Schönheitsidealen halten soll. Meiner Meinung nach ist Schönheit keine Modeerscheinung und ich finde es traurig, dass viele Frauen sich derart dem Wahn unterwerfen. Für mich sind Puppen schönes Plastik und natürlich unnatürlich schön 🤣 Aber ich sehe die weibliche Darstellung in Puppenform sehr differenziert. Deswegen möchte ich gar kein 1:1 Mini Me... so ein bisschen ähnlich reicht mir 😁 Ich finde jedenfalls sehr bewundernswert, dass du Aufklärungsarbeit bei den Jurgen Frauen betreibst. Aufklären ist immer der richtige Weg etwas zu ändern und in diesem Fall macht es vielleicht Klick und diejenige lernt sich mehr zu akzeptieren. Find ich super❣️

Die Wimpern finde ich sind einfach nicht gut für dolls in dieser scale, sie überschatten die Augen und machen sie oft sehr klein. Aber ich liebe den East 59th Body. Er ist nur etwas größer als Standard Barbie aber hat mehr boobs also alle anderen und Barbie macht überhaupt keine großen boobs mehr. Und IT hands sind sehr schön. Ich style und fotografiere gerne meine dolls aber mit IT bin ich wenig kreativ weil sie einfach schon jemand sind und ich mich kaum traue etwas zu ändern.
Ich suche auch keine exakte mini me, mehr eine repräsentative Film in meinen miniverse für mich. Es wäre wahrscheinlich ganz einfach wenn asch und dunkel blond nicht so extrem selten in dolls wäre.
Und ja Japan Skin von IT passt zur lila top mtm und den tennis doll Body. Ich habe angefangen einzelne IT Köpfe zu kaufen und suche jetzt bodies. Sie passen auf phicen und hot toys bodies. Mal sehen mit worldbox
Ich mache morgen mal Bilder mit den alten IT Köpfen. Die Proportionen müssten ja trotzdem hinhauen. Ich hab mir eine nervige Erkältung eingefangen, aber morgen muss ich sowieso filmen und die Köpfe hab ich schnell rausgesucht 😉
Die East59 bodies finde ich auch schön. Es ist nur nicht einfach welche hier zu bekommen. Zumindest nicht für einen einigermaßen anständigen Preis. Bei den Händen kann ich nur zustimmen. Ich habe zwar nur Mengf Hände aber die sind den IT Händen schon ähnlich und so schöne lange Finger haben etwas! Die WorldBox bodies sind eine Sache für sich. Ganz anders als alles andere... aber jeder Stil hat seinen eigenen Charm. Es kommt immer auf das Gesicht und den Gesamteindruck an... ich könnte gar nicht sagen ob ich einen Körpertyp am liebsten mag. Zum Glück hab ich noch etwas Platz zum sammeln übrig 😄

But I would HIGHLY appreciate darker skintones. Regarding action figures, the lack of different skintones is a real bummer to me 😮💨. WorldBox is still young, especially when it comes to the girl bodies. Maybe we will get more diversity in the future. At least I have seen full sets with WorldBox bodies lately. But so far, nothing I really fell in love with... but that can always change 😁
