Making a goal to exercise everyday this month!!! Need to drop a few kgs before September!!!!. Don't give up like I did!!! Stick too it. Hope you guys had better luck than I did. Will keep you posted on progress. This time it's a promise!!!!!.
@@christellagovender7866 Don't give up, you can do it :) Don't forget to stay in a calorie deficit if you want to lose weight, I've been doing it since last year november and I've dropped 6kg ..and my body is much more toned. It's ok to not always be consistent ..I had a month were I just didn't feel like doing anything, but whats important is to just always observe your body and eating habits and to take action once you see thats its heading into the wrong direction again. What helps me control my day is to document what I eat/do everyday, there are many nice apps to help you out with that.
Sabreen Fatima yes weight loss is all about burning more energy than you consume weather you do that running, jumping rope, weight basketball, what ever be consistent and find a diet that works for you I suggest intermittent fasting I lost 45 lbs since last year because of it you have to be consistent but it’s worth it don’t worry about the number on the scale focus on the fact that “oh my joints don’t hurt when I run anymore” “my clothes are starting to feel looser” “I’m noticing more muscle definition” I know some times it feels like you working out and dieting and nothing is changing but keep it pushing keep you eye on the prize💯
Well i'm sick of trying multiple exercises to lose weight and end up failing everytime so this is my final chance make it real😭 i need some encouragement plz💔 Holy you guys!!! Thank you for the likes OMG!! I hate to break it to you but... i ended up developing an ED💔 dieting messed with my head😭 Anyways, i can't thank you enough for your incredible support and advices❤️❤️
I've lost weight, as much as 80 pounds, then gained it all back. Have tried several different types of working out and just flaked on it. I will say, don't ever look at a scale consistently. Jumping rope has helped me so much, but the second I look at the scale, I wanna quit sometimes. So when you start your journey, look at it the very first day. After that, give yourself a month or two. Pick a date and don't look at that scale again until that time. But make sure to do it every day for even just 10 minutes, because I promise, you will see results. It's a lot of fun and I'm really glad I started doing it. Once you get basic jumping, you can start learning double unders and other fun tricks to make it more enjoyable. Don't give up on yourself, health is important to both your physique, but also your happiness!
as for me, my aim is to be fit. My weight when I was 13 years old is 74kg but now, I'm only 64kg. still struggling to get ideal weight. You have to keep in mind what is the reason for you to lose weight? people laugh at you? you feel down?you feel your crush does not want you? your health affect your life? You cannot enjoy like others? When you start doing it, say to yourselves, "I wanna do it because...."Say it repeatedly, then believe me it work. so, just start your exercise. Remember to take care your food portion. it difficult to take extreme action, just do it slowly. Eat what you like but take care of your calorie intake.
When I first picked up the rope, I swear I couldn't do 50 jumps, my legs just gave out, and my breath was messed up. The next day I couldn't walk straight. However, after a week of practicing consistently, I can now do 200-220 jumps in 2m30s with no sweat. and my legs seem fine, no more painful aftermath. Jumping rope is no joke guys. Keep doing it.
I did it for 2 and a half months.. I lost 10 kgs of weight... 2000 rounds in mrng and 2000 in evng.. I jump fast for 45 seconds n take a 15 sec break... and repeat it upto 20 minutes... Jumping rope n keeping an eye on the diet helps more than anything in losing weight
People usually do from 15 to 45 minutes depending on their fitness level and how hard they find it. It's better to count the number of slips you've done rather than counting the time you've done it :)
I'm doing 500/day for a month now. I am around 70 with lots of flab around the stomach and thighs. By what time should I expect a 50kg weight with a normal Indian diet? 😅🙈 I just want to do it in a sustainable way.
I jump rope 50 min a day is the best . Give it 2 weeks to adjust and then you will have no problem doing it . Begin with 10 and increase to your needs.
Love jumping rope but haven't got enough space to do it at home :( Before watching this video I had already planned for tomorrow to go out in a park to do my rope skipping and include it in my routine for as much as possible. I have got space in my room which is 1st floor but that's certainly not a great idea cos it feels like an earthquake in my home :D

@@amrayabaptiste2933 when i started jumping rope? can't say since i was also doing intermittent fasting and arm toning exercises during that time. i only rely on pictures since i don't have weighing scale and i don't notice any difference if there is even if it's small.
My favorite workout, I literally just watch tv and jump for about 20 minutes a day. Amazing results and it doesn’t give me a migraine like most high intensity workouts.
Been doing jumping rope in 15 minutes for 6 months till now. I reduced 10 kgs. I took care of my diet too. And what i can conclude is this exercise did burn my calories and tone up my body. Really recommend to people who doesnt like to jog or running. This exercise is really easy cuz you can do it in your home.
I have been jumping rope since April, 30 to 50 minutes a day, with body weight excercises. I have a partial replacement in each knee, and i had ankle issues. I now jump with no knee brace, and the repetition of correct foot placement as I jump, has been like physical therapy and has changed my foot and ankle alighnment when I walk(for the better). Just amazing health results.
Wow, that's so nice to know it corrected your knee alignment. I have little issue with my knees.... was avoiding skipping to protect further pain. Your comment gave me a green signal to start skipping. Thanks.
I’ve been doing Jumprope for about 2 weeks, and let me tell you, I’ve noticed Ive gained better balance (I’m really clumsy) and I feel faster, I seem to be losing weight as well!!
@@areebamazhar278 I've also been doing 1000 jumps a day (with two rest days a week) and take a "break" every 100-200 jumps. What I do is take a break from skipping and do a set or two of strength exercises, then back to skipping again. I get to catch my breath whilst still keeping my body moving. I will probably add more jumps as I get more stamina.
@@areebamazhar278 I'm 20, woman, and I don't own a scale so I don't know my exact weight but I was 55 kg in april this year. I've been running on an off during the summer, but decided to buy a jump rope for the winter months. It is much more challenging than running! :O
I've been doing three sets of 500 jump ropes a day for a few weeks. I've been demotivated for the past couple of days. This vid has motivated me to keep it going. Thanks :)
Heck yeah I’m jumping rope! I’m already up to 520 skips in just 5 days. I also play piano, which is awesome for training the brain too. I’m 59, and don’t ever expect to get “old,” because I do what it takes to stay sharp; mind, body, and spirit.

This is awesome. I been jump roping almost daily for the past few months. I can't seem to stop! I exercise just about daily. Jump roping is honestly one of my favs.
I love jump rope, except I'm from the UK and we call it skipping. I've been skipping since April and do 10 mins a day. I find it highly effective and can definitely see the results on my body. I would recommend it to anyone.
I started jump roping consistently about 6 months ago and I have to say that in the beginning, it was my worst exercise, but now, it's my #1. It's super hard, but amazing at the same time
I've done the running thing and the jumping rope thing. In my opinion, jumping rope is WAY more beneficial than running. Running was more taxing on my knees and ankles. But I could raise my heart rate just as much, if not higher, by jumping rope, which hasn't been as taxing on my body. Plus jumping rope has incorporated the use of more muscles since I jump with a 1/2 pound rope. I love jumping rope. It's done more than running has ever done for me.
I did jumping rope for 30 days, daily for 10 minutes. it really makes me feels good. after that, I did 3 min challenge on jumping rope without stopping.
Started a year ago with 10 mins a day, lost 55lbs and now I’ve upped it to 20 mins a day! The results are noticeable to myself but others as well noticed I lost a lot of weight and look fit now 💪 love jump roping! Happy jump roping y’all!
I'm a teenager. I will try to jump rope everyday not just to lose weight but also to be healthy. I'm planning to make it as my lifestyle. I wanna be healthy so I am making the move while I am still young.
Take into account that your food diet is EXTREMELY important! I've been doing about 1 hour of jump rope, 5-7 times a week for 4 months, and started doing 1 hour and 30 minutes of jump rope 5-7 days per week now and made little progress. It might work for you, but me on the other hand is extremely difficult to lose weight. A tip is that, yes, calorie counting is important, however, you really need to watch the types of food you eat. I've never over ate from my ratio of burning calories, yet I gained 6 more pounds (most likely muscle because of intense cardio) instead of losing my wanted 25 pounds. I've now realized how important to include other activities too, strength training (even for an extremely buff girl like me), and overall, not eating junk food. I hope you and I can successfully win through this weight loss journey.
Wow! If I had known that we achieved all this I would never have stopped jumping rope, plus we used to have a lot of fun with friends and classmates 💕 Thanks for the info 😄
I first watched this a couple months ago and said to myself, "There's no way I'd be able to jump rope for 10 minutes non-stop." Today I hit 14 minutes non-stop. Thanks for the inspiration!
[Sorry for broken english] i started doing it yesterday (sept 8, 2020). I prefer counting the number of jumps rather than counting the time because i break (rest) at uncertain time, and the break time also varies. my goal is to do 1000 jumps a day. i hope i can lose weight with this method (im going to try intermittent fasting as well). i'm 150cm and 52kg btw. - day1: first day was hard so i just did 200 jumps. - day2: i can do 600 jumps. actually i feel like i can do more but i have no time so it's okay it's still a progress for me. i hope i can consistent with this plan and update here. goodluck for everyone!
Nice and yes you will lose weight with that method as long you are consistent with jumping and your fasting and not overeating your calories when you break your fast. also for your method of counting jumps instead of minutes? download an app called Jumpro .
I am trying this for a year now and I m feeling happy doing this .... Now I am at my best at 10k jumps in 2 hr .... Thanks Tushar and Manpreet ( my loving students ) for helping me in learning this...
It is one of my favorite exercise, I started a 20minute jump rope workout 4 months ago at 196lbs, now at 150 it has become so much easier and I need to increase the time I also do different tricks it so much fun, don’t you say you can’t do it it will be hard at the beginning but it will get easier
15-20 mins of jump rope a day is very helpful since I have less time to workout due to my new schedule for college plus I’m still stuck with the online classes so I’m thankful the jump rope targets the whole body
Hello, let just say I'm over 50 and have started jumping rope. Didn't realize how challenging it was going to be. I started about 2 weeks ago and I'm still trying to get my stamina up. the longest time has been about 60 seconds but I'm not giving up I keep pushing and I'm jumping about 3 days a week.
Just started jumping rope again after nearly 30 years. Started with skipping without a rope first, as I didn't have a rope, but used a rope for first time today and while completely different than skipping without a rope I was actually able to go 2-3 times longer than I had been just skipping without a rope. The first was absolutely beneficial in helping me get back into jumping rope!!
I have been doing this jump rope exercise since last few months. I can see many improvements including knee strength increase, fat reduction but my weight is unchanged. It is not reducing from 70kg.
I started this workout 1 week ago.it was really hard at first, My heart is pumping so hard and I can only do 20 jumps. But now I can maintain 100 jumps without much effort.
I didn't know this still I jump rope daily for around 500-600 times. Never set the time though, instead I count my jumps. And yeah it surely does increase my concentration and mind-body coordination. Thanks a lot for this useful info. 🙏
I am jumping 1500 times for last 20 days, and believe i am seeing my collar bone for the first time in my 20 years of life😂 Update:lost 13 kgs.I was 75 kg and now I am 62.I am now jumping for 2100 times.Had to order new clothes because my new ones look so big now.Try it guys.Best workout ever.

I love jumping rope. Infact, I only do that as part of the workout routine at random intervals in a day whenever I get bored. I don't even count the reps, I jus do until I feel tired. I am noticing changes in my body as a result.
I started today and I did for 20 minutes I am currently 60 pounds And my goal is 45 wish my luck I will be coming back every week I’m so sorry I gave but my mom is just gonna help me to go a run every Sunday and Saturday

You could actually jump rope while watching netflix, all you have to do is count the minutes on your phone or watch...jumping rope while watching netflix is actually a good distraction to help you skip more
Literally if you could loose weight that way I'd be bones already and for nothing lol Netflix doesn't even have most movies I search for but it has some good shows and some movies
@John Jacobs jumping without rope is not as beneficial as jumping with rope... Yes it help with burning calories. But jumping with rope will help you big time with your movement and coordination.
Without the rope it won't exercise your shoulder/arms nor your coordination with the same ones but still being a viable exercise just for the legs and a bit for the abdomen
@@abdullahibaban9962 but with rope, I improved my balance so so much, it is hard to jump rope if your rope is too short or too long make sure ur is suitable for you,
1: If your have med to large breasts get a high impact bra. This prevents pain and sagging. 2: if you are very, very overweight don't as jumping will put too much pressure on your ankle and knee joints. Been doing jump rope for 4 5 month and I realized I wasted my potential alot, now I realized how unique my body is. I am 5.10 and can jump higher then 6.3 feet people. I have this very strong leg. I don't even use leg when I got on fight because my legs are way too strong and can destroy my opponents lifes. My body movement is just to fast for boxers and I never trained. I just can't express it. I feel energized and full of positive vibes when skipping. Wish I did when I was teen may be would be joining MMA or something 😁. But I am planning to learning boxing and MMA till I reach 30 let's see. Wished I saw my this potential decades ago. And you won't believe I lost 20 kg in 1-2 month of time span. And I was depressed and had anxiety disorder but thanks to lockdown it helped me to improve my life and be more confident with who I am.
So guys if you ever feel depressed and lonely so do some skipping, trust me guys it ll helps you alot. Well it helped me, I couldn't say same to whoever reading this but just try for weeks or two. And don't let anyone interrupt you while skipping and do it for 10 min at first if you can. I did 30 min from beginning, couldn't say same for you guys because everyone body is made differently.
I like jump rope because I get bored running all the time 🤦🏾♂️
same here.
Same !
Does it help in weight loss ??
Same, been doing this for 8 months.
Well i'm sick of trying multiple exercises to lose weight and end up failing everytime so this is my final chance make it real😭 i need some encouragement plz💔
Holy you guys!!! Thank you for the likes OMG!!
I hate to break it to you but... i ended up developing an ED💔 dieting messed with my head😭 Anyways, i can't thank you enough for your incredible support and advices❤️❤️
you can do it!
You want my pitbull to chase you? You'll lose weight for real.
Me tooo
as for me, my aim is to be fit.

Yes your shins hurt. You foot pains too and if you're doing it the wrong way , your back hurts too. But no pain, no gain....right?
People usually do from 15 to 45 minutes depending on their fitness level and how hard they find it. It's better to count the number of slips you've done rather than counting the time you've done it :)

Nope, but I'm watching after :)

For those beginners who struggle jumping with the rope. Try jumping with out it and just do the motions. It worked for me to get the rhythm.

Thanks.

@@areebamazhar278 I've also been doing 1000 jumps a day (with two rest days a week) and take a "break" every 100-200 jumps. This is awesome. I been jump roping almost daily for the past few months. I can't seem to stop! I exercise just about daily. Jump roping is honestly one of my favs.
What is the result you got
I did a one-week jump rope challenge and got amazing results!

I'm a teenager. I will try to jump rope everyday not just to lose weight but also to be healthy. I'm planning to make it as my lifestyle. I wanna be healthy so I am making the move while I am still young.
You still up, buddy?
Been jumping for over 49yrs.. using 8oz and 1lb ropes.. great workout!
I started doing 1000 jumps everyday like a week ago. It's amazing how fast you can burn fat.
Doing 500 jump ropes for past 8days now & it feels amazing & I can feel my body getting toned too ✌🏻
