    to anyone trying this challenge: It is extremely difficult and intense. It will give you great results but it will be hard so don't feel bad about taking a break for a moment during the plank or taking a quick breather. You also don't have to go as quick as Chloe, she's been doing this for YEARS. You can also do the low impact version to start off and build the muscles till you can do the full version. It's also okay if you don't do it every day just keep working out. Don't quit. You can do it! I believe in you.

    If you're looking for a simple and effective way to lose weight, Puravive is it. I've never felt better! ruclips.net/video/NkWGe-QKVhI/видео.html
    To anyone who wants to lose weight as well:
    - Drink water before meals, consuming a glass of water before meals can help you feel fuller, which may lead to consuming fewer calories during the meal.
    - Replace sugary drinks with water, swap out sugary sodas, juices, and energy drinks with water. Not only will this reduce your calorie intake, but it will also eliminate empty calories and added sugars from your diet.
    - Stay hydrated, sometimes feelings of hunger can actually be masked thirst. Aim to drink water consistently throughout the day to stay hydrated and avoid mistaking thirst for hunger.
    See you guys when you reached your weight loss goals and feel amazing!

    First: how was I rude??? Like HOW???
    Second: I literally said nothing bad about skinny people and I really don't know why you are even pointing it
    Third: my comment was intended to show that we don't see many different types of bodies on yt and representation is really important. I don't have the body of 99% of the people that do this challenge and I'm sure many of you don't either.

    • @mariemeow9757
      @mariemeow9757 3 года назад +36

      bngtnsht I don’t really understand what you don’t understand but I’ll just give it a try. By eating enough calories (carbs, protein) and exercising with weight (bodyweight is also enough) you’ll gain muscles. How much and how easily depends on your genetics. Weighttraining also burns calories. If you’re a beginner you can be in a caloric deficit (you burn more than you eat) and still manage to build up muscle. At some point you need either a deficit for fat loss or surplus for muscle gain. Muscles also need energy to just exists and maintain, therefore the more muscles you have, the easier it is to get in a deficit to lose fat.

    • @lomilomi7
      @lomilomi7 3 года назад +11

      @@mariemeow9757 i can't express myself correctly because english is not my first language so i'm not that fluent with it, but yeah anyway, what i'm trying to say is that i didn't understood how did she actually gained muscle because she was just doing cardio (that's what i thought) and cardio is supposed to burn fat, not to gain muscle (?.

    • @mariemeow9757
      @mariemeow9757 3 года назад +9

      bngtnsht it’s okay, I‘m German so I also struggle a lot. What she did is a mix between cardio and weight training. Pure cardio would be running or a Crosstrainer. She actively used her body to perform those exercises. Fatloss also makes muscles more visible so she might not gained that much new muscles but the „old“ ones are more visible now. Only cardio would not build muscles, that’s right though

    *update* So I have bad news and good news. I’ll start with the good news I’m working hard and have lost 20 pounds my booty is looking well lol. Bad news is Erick (my boyfriend) suddenly decided that he wants to take a break. The truth is one of his coligues is a good friend of mine and he told me that he is talking to other girls. I had my suspicions before but I didn’t want to be one of those paranoid girlfriends but I should have listened to my gut. I told him I agreed and he got pissed ? He asked why I didn’t oppose to a break and asked me if I was into someone else? He said he was still thinking about it but I was being suspicious. I’m not as sad as I though I would be in focusing on my job and family. I’m barely 19 and I have my whole life ahead of me. Now that I look even better I’m learning to see myself with other eyes. This is long lol sorry.

      I don't think that's how math works. Everyone loses weight differently. It's not as simple as one cm equals one kg. A man and a woman naturally won't lose weight the same for example.

  • @FallingStary
    @FallingStary Год назад +2

    This was really validating for me; we have really similar builds and weighed the same amount. I've always prided myself on having strength but after ten months out of work not really doing anything I lost all of that. It was a huge hit on my self-esteem as well as a loss of something I admired about myself (strength). Not to mention health adjacent health concerns unrelated to but influences by my weight. I was going away for contract work and since I would had my own space for a 3-month timeline I started a weekday workout routine. Most of my workouts were low impact because I was trying not to disturb my coworkers.
    I can't say everyday was the best day but when I first started this I was struggling. You actually made me smile because when your alone in your room sitting mushy on the floor because you're taking your mid workout break it's a mood. I had yet to see someone mimic such a private moment of my time so spot on lmao. When I tell you simple pushups were a struggle I mean it, but same as you they were already becoming easier (and I felt this in the first couple weeks) Moving material around the worksite was easier and I wasn't struggling as much.
    (Details for context) Around this time my phone was showing me old photos. Granted I look different because I'm five years older but what I saw alarmed me. I was the smallest I had been in those pictures (which was an average weight for my build) However I remember feeling huge in the memories) Now at this time I had achieved the same result you did. I replaced my fat weight with muscle weight (noice), and the fat of my body was no longer just sitting upon itself/me. The toning cause it to "hold" itself up more and on me better. HOWEVER I could not truly tell at first. Being in an Airbnb with no scale or tape measure (I don't think I'd want one anyway) the only way I could track myself was with my feeling and eyes.
    Like I mentioned earlier my eyes have already been deceptive to me about what I actually look like, and I wasn't sure I could trust my eyes alone. Maybe it was the bad body day or a particular negative mindset, but I would switch from confidence to fear of having lost whatever "minimal" progress I managed. Seeing the similar results happen to you with a similar body, same consistency, similar exercises (Chloe Ting was one of the people I would practice from), and describe similar experiences helped solidify in my mind that progress was being made. I know I had my strength to prove this too me but it's so easy to psych yourself out when you only have your own perception to go off of.
    I'm glad I didn't skip to the end of your video and listened to you explain your experience, also because you are funny. I have thought of throwing myself onto unreasonable workout plans looking to course correct as if one month is going to make it all better (however moderate challenges make it easier to digest in a stress free) But I'm glad the results were, for lack of a better word, underwhelming, because after returning home and being met with a similar outcome on the scale all of your other evidence helped present to me that change was happening, and at a pace that was manageable for me.

      But that don’t mean you would have the same result if you have the same body shape , I mean that if someone have similar look on the outside don’t mean that the inside is similar as well ( metabolisms , genetics , how your body react to certain foods , if you do regular activity or not .... ) , so for some people may take more time to see results in comparison of others , + there is no such a thing like one exercise program or nutrition program fits all. If it was then all the fitnesses and nutrition specialists would be unemployed. But there are still a possibilities to find the right ones for you if that one don’t work. So keep going.
