Being blindfolded is a good sign when you weigh out the odds.
Exactly. The blindfold means they are likely going to be exchanged for Ukrainian POWs and therefore the Ukrainians do not want them to report any military intelligence back to Russia. If they were NOT being blindfolded it like means the Ukrainians dont care what they see because wherever they are going is a one-way trip.

These are mechanized mobile brigades. They won't spare too many men to guard prisoners. So blindfolds and cable ties help to minimize guard numbers.

Ukraine is doing much better then these talkingheads are letting on. A good example is the bit about prisoners - they're like "here are some Russian POWs, but you know both sides are taking POWs so...", and completely failing to mention that Ukrainians took 2000 Russian prisoners in 7 days compared to double digits on the other side.

They should state that they are "liberating" the area.
Everyone agrees that the only way to resolve this conflict now is for both countries to leave the other country and go back home.

Asia is a continent. Africa is a continent. Russia and Ukraine are both countries. As the former has annexed Crimea, Luhansk and Donetsk into the Russian Federation, such a proposal may not be acceptable to the Ukrainian government.
