Though they faced low tier soldiers who had little or no experience, this is a huge victory for Ukraine. It boost morale, shows ordinary Russians have no heart for Putin’s cause, and shows Putin is a lying coward for not going through with his treats if Russia was invaded.
The best tactic Ukraine has so far is ambushing Russian equipment when it is traveling. The goal is to disable or capture more weapons than Russia can build or buy. This also makes it easier to capture soldiers with the least amount of harm. Remember; Russian soldiers are victims of Putin's madness too. Trying to break through fortified positions is costly to both opponents. When on the road, smaller drones can be used to damage vehicles just enough to disable them, with less chance of harming operators.

The Russians are sending quite a few "refugees" to Moscow, which indicates it's not that far away. Ukranian military forces have used jamming equipment very effectively, then putting surveillance drones up, bringing them back, jamming again and it continues. Someone definitely planned this extremely well.
Smart move forcing Russians to pull out out Ukraine to defend Russia. Looks like the war will end with Russia losing. I don’t think there is any point for Russia at this point with their losses. Ukraine will keep getting resources while Russia has limited support. 🇺🇦
With respect to the retired general. russians did have two defence lines, they also had dragon teeth. They also had the best reinforced and underground trenches and strong holds. There is not enough focus on what engineering actions that Ukrainian army undertook to brake through the lines and get behind the backs of c-Ints.
Take it from a soldier who deployed twice. Moving a unit the size of a brigade even three hundred miles with all gear on short notice is simply not possible for Russia. It would greatly tax the Americans. Also Russians dont do mobile warfare anyway.
We moved over 100,000 people in 3 days over 7,000 miles Despite the circumstances, the American military logistics capabilities is unmatched... Anywhere. Would it take our CT trained ground forces a minute to figure shit out? 100% but don't forget we are the one teaching them about maintaining and securing logistics lines
Never deployed, but done railhead ops for NTC. Possibly the epitome of organized chaos. In just a few short years, Russia has gone from the second best military in the world, to the second best military in Ukraine, to the second best military in Russia.
The Russian Armed Forces eliminated almost 2,000 military personnel from Ukraine in the last 24 hours and liberated a town and a railway station in the Donetsk People's Republic (DRP). Russian troop groupings Tsentr (Center) and Dnieper eliminated in the areas of Novodanilovka, Kamenskoe (Zaporozhie region) and Tyaginka (Kherson region) about 560 military personnel, 11 military vehicles, an Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system, Msta-B howitzers , Giatsint-B, D-30 (two), M777 and a Ukrainian ammunition depot, in addition to other weapons, reported this Monday (19) the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The Pipeline is no reason , because it goes through Ukraine anyway , they dont have to cross the Border to russia to cut the Pipeline , they could do it in Ukraine
Russia's failure to adapt to modern warfare finds it's roots in their strategic belief that quantity outweighs quality and that does not just pertain to hardware but also command and right down to the soldier on the field. They embraced (and still do) the ONLY tactic that has EVER worked for them since re-taking Stalingrad and chasing the Germans back to Berlin and that is simply overwhelming an opponent by sheer mass. What they fail to recognize even to this day is the evolution of battlefield tactics and that what held water in 1942 is no longer applicable today. Combine that with a commonly held world opinion that they have come to believe themselves is that they are truly of "super-power" status but that...that is based upon their nuclear capabilities...the last REAL war they fought even if cold, it is not however based on battlefield strategy and for that...the chickens have come home to roost.

Just like von Mannstein an elastic retreat. I could be wrong, but entice many Ukraine forces into the region and, I believe, Russia is authorized to use tactical nukes under international law.
Absolutely. You should delete "the" from your blessing though. Though they faced low tier soldiers who had little or no experience, this is a huge victory for Ukraine. It boost morale, shows ordinary Russians have no heart for Putin’s cause, and shows Putin is a lying coward for not going through with his treats if Russia was invaded.
Glory’s Ukraine
The best tactic Ukraine has so far is ambushing Russian equipment when it is traveling. The goal is to disable or capture more weapons than Russia can build or buy. This also makes it easier to capture soldiers with the least amount of harm. Remember; Russian soldiers are victims of Putin's madness too.
Trying to break through fortified positions is costly to both opponents. When on the road, smaller drones can be used to damage vehicles just enough to disable them, with less chance of harming operators.
ROFL!!
Have to agree, Russia could be playing right in to Ukraines hands with their migration of troops
They are trying to get Russian troops to switch sides too. It is easier to catch flies with honey than vinegar in some wars.

One thing about war is: how it can bring out the worst in humanity. The Ukrainians captured the enemy and treated them like humans. This goes to show you that Ukraine at its core is a good country with decent people.
so why are they invading another country now? they are turning into the bad guys going by your logic of the past couple of years.

We moved over 100,000 people in 3 days over 7,000 miles
Despite the circumstances, the American military logistics capabilities is unmatched... Anywhere. Would it take our CT trained ground forces a minute to figure shit out? 100% but don't forget we are the one teaching them about maintaining and securing logistics lines

Never deployed, but done railhead ops for NTC. Possibly the epitome of organized chaos. You're right.
However, if you establish your depot, HQ, or similar at that pumping station, I doubt the Russians will bomb it.
I don't believe the Ukrainians have access to valves in Ukraine to shut the natural gas flow off.
