This game man. It was my childhood. I got a go at it when it was new, only briefly on my Uncle's PS4, he had this crucible scout rifle and was sat in front of the loot cave chatting with people that are now my own clanmates. A couple of weeks later he said he had something he wanted to show me, so I put down my PS2 and had a look at what it was, He'd snagged himself a Vex Mythoclast. Pre-nerf in all of it's glory. I had a crucible game with it. Then another, and another, the game was addictive and Mythoclast was fantastic. I started watching MoreConsole and Mr. Fruit after that. I only had an Xbox 360 at home. No XBL Gold. Not a penny to my name. So I installed the D1 Demo on my 360 and played the crap out of it for months. roaming the cosmodrome dreaming of the day I could have my own PS4 and play the game properly. It wasn't until summer 2015 that my mum came into my room and tossed me a package, it was of course, my own copy of Destiny 1 for the 360. And let me tell you I was so excited I could have cried then and there. We didn't have money back then, so something like this was very rare and I still have it to this day. Even though I had a copy to call my own, when I went to my nana's house, whenever my uncle was otherwise occupied or out and about I would play on my PSN account so I could do some crucible or play the stories that I didn't have access to such as House of Wolves or TTK. I made sure since D2's release that I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to savour the sequel more than I ever could with the original. I'm still around and just as eager to play new stuff as the day I played my first Control match. There's something about Destiny that just keeps bringing me back for more. And I tell you, the stuff this game has helped drag me through in my life probably ensures Destiny 1 and 2 will forever remain one of if not my favourite games I've ever played in my life thus far. when I would sit in orbit and hear these tracks, I'd lay down flat on my back and dream of where this game would take me next. To the ruins of my home's capital London? Ravaged by Fallen Pirates? Or perhaps the jungles and mountains of Venus overgrown with towering machines? The swamps of Old Chicago infested with Hive? There's so many things I've yet to see and I can't wait to witness them.
Recently I’ve been getting this saddened feeling of missing the past and noticing how fast time has flown by. Listening to this has latterly brought tears to my eyes this night, wishing to live these days one last time. The emotions these songs bring to me are so euphoric and nostalgic that it saddens me. Wishing just one more day, it brings chills hearing these master piece of melodies. Oh how I miss being young playing this game all day and never getting bored. My love for this game will forever live in my heart.

Every time I remember my experience playing D1 for 3 years as a secondary school kid, I just want to cry, I don't have the time to play d2 anymore tbh but I am eternally grateful to the friends that made the game so fun and to bungie for giving us such a fun and rewarding game!
Life was simpler back then. The endless search for G’horn, slamming Crota’s own sword down on his head and throwing all the firepower you had at Skolas! So many hours and days spent with friends, fighting alien races and chatting into the small hours of the night. I’ve never played another game that I could sit and just listen to the music while just talking to fellow clan mates and not even actually doing anything before or after Destiny. Even Destiny 2 never came close! I miss those days
I remember when I got the Ghorn. I didn't think much about it, but I knew it was good. A friend got much earlier as an rng drop and he was like "bleh". I also miss farming the chests on the moon in that endless run, post loot cave nerf.

Anyone who really cares will definitely do it that way. As far as I am concerned, this list can also be included in the video description. Ultimately, all rights belong to Bungie. I made the list using a song identification app, a Destiny Wiki that lists the songs with their duration, and a calculator. Of course, I still need the video.
It’s been almost 8 years, I wish I could go back to day 1 release and experience the magic all over again. It had a rough start, but now holds a special place in my heart as a game I’ll never forget :,)
26:17 gives me the most nostalgic vibes of d1 it’s just hits me deep in my heart remembering the time i spent looking for 1 exotic/ or just booting up this game and hearing this gosh i love it
3:50 still gives me the nostalgia chills. Sort of an oddly relaxing tune that would help calm my social anxieties for when realized I was actually playing this game with other people. It also seemed to really embody that feeling of magic in space.
11:57 Man, I could hear this theme over and over and over again. This theme specifically is the perfect evolution of "Choose Wisely" from the Halo 3 menu. Seriously, Marty and Michael did a really good job at composing the soundtrack for Destiny.

That opening track. Each. And. Every. Time! 😭 All these tracks lead me back to my two most prominent memories of Destiny: Waiting up in Orbit, and heading to The Tower, seeing anyone and everyone just running about, going about their daily routines/quests/bounties etc!

Im sitting outside rightnow staring at the moon and thinking back to 7-8 years ago. Man i would do almost everything to get back to those days. Destiny 1 is a part of my youth.
I remember my first ever destiny experience on my ps3. I got the full game, and I still have the disk but my ps3 is gone. I remember hopping on the game for the first time, i remember picking warlock as my first ever character. I still have and play the same warlock to this day. It honestly makes me so happy to see my warlock all grown up now in destiny 2. I've been using him for almost 8 years now and I'll never forget my first ever nova bomb. It wasn't until I got my Xbox one and a copy of destiny that I started getting hooked. My mom came and gave me a package with an Xbox and destiny and I pretty much cried. This game was so much of my childhood and I still have friends that I met through this game that I talk to and hang out with to this day. This game is seriously amazing.
Has anyone ever listened to any of the music here with headsets on, while looking into the endless night sky of the Milky Way? If not, I highly recommend that you do! It brings more meaning to the word DESTINY than you could possobly imagine!
Now, after Final Shape....we finally won. Against Darkness. I wanted to continue with thr episodes but....I found myself playing Destiny 2 less and less. It is a great game and amazing franchise, will forever be part of me since I started in Y3 in D1 back in 2016 I believe. I deinstalled it cuz I needed space, but ffs I love it. Maybe I'll reinstall one day.

Man about a month after this game came out probably I got a chance to pick up the deluxe edition at Best Buy. Thought I’d had enough money for it but was short like $10, guy behind me ended up paying for the entire thing :,) for no reason at all!!! He just jumped in and offered to pay and I got so excited since it was my bday. As a kid I didn’t know how to take that and now I look back and I’m so grateful for that moment! Man all the memories I would’ve missed out on if that guy didn’t end up being so kind. :) hopefully I’ll be able to do the same for someone in the future.
wow. take me back to a simpler time...this soundtrack has ALL the feels. Azteccross said it right in his throwback to d1. The day this game dropped my life changed. D1 beta all the way. Priorities shifted and Destiny took the top of the list. "You had to marry the grind" this is the facts, my once girlfriend now ex will tell you..she was one of the priorities that got shifted. Nothing will take me back to those times, D2 is amazing, but d1 was pure magic. Thank you so so much for this upload, I would only ask that you could maybe do a version of it with a pure black screen for sleep purposes. You've always been a fond memory Destiny 1, i used to do raid for fun after getting all the gear from them all. Id help people get any loot they wanted just because it was fun.
I came into destiny pretty late maybe a few months before beyond light released, I didn't get to see the glory of destiny 1 but from the comments about, the music and trailers I can tell it was great. Destiny is one of my favorite games, I have struggled and stopped playing everyonce in awhile but it always drew me back in, even when I was frustrated that I had to grind, or annoyed that I needed to buy an expansion, I was still happy because despite it's downsides destiny is an amazing game with a wonderful story, I will always cherish the time I spend playing destiny because nothing really compares to how the story pulls you in or the joy of getting new abilites or a weapon/armor piece you wanted.
I love this franchise so much. Played D1pretty regularly but was back and forth on it but ever since Forsaken I've been obsessed. Thanks for making this, I listen to stuff like this at my office while I work. Destiny is definitely a stress reliever and a true joy in my life so listening to the music while I work just puts me in a better mood.
This game has saved my life, rescued me from so many bottomless pits of depression and darkness…it is my therapy….fucking amazing, unreal! Take care of each other guardians, you never know what people might be going through…..
this video brings me back 8 years, when i started playing. i was 6 years old. this game is my childhood game. no matter how many bad times this game brings, i will always love it. i grew up with this game. i will die still remembering it. i will never forget this game and the great memories it brought with it. next year my life, among millions of others, will change. forever.
When you first heard this music it invoked the feeling of wonder because it beautifully reflected the world you now found yourself in, waking up in the ruins of old Russia. Finding familiarity yet still somehow feeling as if there’s still more out there yet to be discovered. Back then people didn’t even have time to explain why they don’t have time to explain. Nowadays we actually do have an explanation as why they didn’t have time to explain. D1 experience and music will always be like the feeling of looking up at the expanse of the sky under whichever planet you found yourself on or at the ruins of old Russia at night under all the stars and aurora while the cracked moon orbits up above.
The nostalgia just takes me back to such good times. I miss this so much. I will be starting my first job in 2 days and can't help but listen to this and long for those good old days without a care in the world. I miss this.
Truth be told, I don't think it was the game that gives us such great nostalgia. I believe that we hold our nostalgia for the amazing community that was the Destiny 1 community, where no one cared about being a Crucible legend or getting the best speedrun in a raid. It was all about getting on with the boys and finally tackling the raid, or finally getting that exotic, or just plain messing about! It brings so many memories of better times, and I wish so badly that we could go back. Yet, I am thankful for what I got to experience, and I am thankful for where I am now.

9:06 imagine this... you arrive at the tower, lots of guardians doing dumb stuff like dancing, t-bagging as a peace sign, pointing at eachother for no reason in particular, and going to the vendors, depositing weapons and armors in the limited 108 space vault, and decripting engrams at rahool to get pure garbage (this is not missing as it still happens today)
As someone who’s been playing destiny since the beta and still going strong it’s sad to see in d2 the amount of people that are so set on their jobs and being the best that no one takes the time to have fun in the tower like d1, you get the odd fellow who’ll come up to you and you know he’s most likely been here from the beginning too

I remember the long nights of struggling and trying to get away so I would go to destiny. I never had my own copy of the game sadly and used my uncles while he was living at my grandmas. So every Weeknd on a Friday I would get out of 5th grade with joy knowing I was about to play some destiny and get away from everything. I’ll never forget all the long nights I had and staying up for more than 3 days with a bag of chips and some soda. This game forever changed me and I just wanna say thanks. I remember I started collage back in 2013/14 and everyone in my class including our tutor was buzzing for destiny to come out!. Then on release night in the UK I qued up for about 3 hours. When I finally got my copy i was overwhelmed with emotion ( yes I know it sounds gay ) but I really did. Loved that game so much. Me and my mates smashing it out day in day out. Now it’s been 8 years. Out of our fireteam of 5 , I am the only one who remains playing destiny. How times have changed.

3:50 still gives me the nostalgia chills. Sort of an oddly relaxing tune that would help calm my social anxieties for when realized I was actually playing this game with other people. It also seemed to really embody that feeling of magic in space.

I remember my first ever destiny experience on my ps3. I got the full game, and I still have the disk but my ps3 is gone. I remember hopping on the game for the first time, i remember picking warlock as my first ever character. I still have and play the same warlock to this day. It honestly makes me so happy to see my warlock all grown up now in destiny 2. I've been using him for almost 8 years now and I'll never forget my first ever nova bomb. It wasn't until I got my Xbox one and a copy of destiny that I started getting hooked. My mom came and gave me a package with an Xbox and destiny and I pretty much cried. This game was so much of my childhood and I still have friends that I met through this game that I talk to and hang out with to this day. This game is seriously amazing.

Has anyone ever listened to any of the music here with headsets on, while looking into the endless night sky of the Milky Way? If not, I highly recommend that you do! It brings more meaning to the word DESTINY than you could possobly imagine!

Now, after Final Shape....we finally won. Against Darkness. I wanted to continue with thr episodes but....I found myself playing Destiny 2 less and less. It is a great game and amazing franchise, will forever be part of me since I started in Y3 in D1 back in 2016 I believe. I deinstalled it cuz I needed space, but ffs I love it. Maybe I'll reinstall one day.
I miss those times playing destint, getting fully immersed in the story and maps. This music is so incredibly nostalgic to me now.

Man about a month after this game came out probably I got a chance to pick up the deluxe edition at Best Buy. Thought I’d had enough money for it but was short like $10, guy behind me ended up paying for the entire thing :,) for no reason at all!!! He just jumped in and offered to pay and I got so excited since it was my bday. As a kid I didn’t know how to take that and now I look back and I’m so grateful for that moment! Man all the memories I would’ve missed out on if that guy didn’t end up being so kind. :) hopefully I’ll be able to do the same for someone in the future.
wow. take me back to a simpler time...this soundtrack has ALL the feels. Azteccross said it right in his throwback to d1. The day this game dropped my life changed. D1 beta all the way. Priorities shifted and Destiny took the top of the list. "You had to marry the grind" this is the facts, my once girlfriend now ex will tell you..she was one of the priorities that got shifted. Nothing will take me back to those times, D2 is amazing, but d1 was pure magic. Thank you so so much for this upload, I would only ask that you could maybe do a version of it with a pure black screen for sleep purposes. You've always been a fond memory Destiny 1, i used to do raid for fun after getting all the gear from them all. Id help people get any loot they wanted just because it was fun.
I came into destiny pretty late maybe a few months before beyond light released, I didn't get to see the glory of destiny 1 but from the comments about, the music and trailers I can tell it was great. Destiny is one of my favorite games, I have struggled and stopped playing everyonce in awhile but it always drew me back in, even when I was frustrated that I had to grind, or annoyed that I needed to buy an expansion, I was still happy because despite it's downsides destiny is an amazing game with a wonderful story, I will always cherish the time I spend playing destiny because nothing really compares to how the story pulls you in or the joy of getting new abilites or a weapon/armor piece you wanted.
Aaaah those sweet excited feelings of the unknown I travelled into when this first released. So beautiful.

I love this franchise so much. Played D1pretty regularly but was back and forth on it but ever since Forsaken I've been obsessed. Thanks for making this, I listen to stuff like this at my office while I work. Destiny is definitely a stress reliever and a true joy in my life so listening to the music while I work just puts me in a better mood.
This game has saved my life, rescued me from so many bottomless pits of depression and darkness…it is my therapy….fucking amazing, unreal! Take care of each other guardians, you never know what people might be going through…..

this video brings me back 8 years, when i started playing. i was 6 years old. this game is my childhood game. no matter how many bad times this game brings, i will always love it. i grew up with this game. i will die still remembering it. i will never forget this game and the great memories it brought with it. next year my life, among millions of others, will change. forever.
When you first heard this music it invoked the feeling of wonder because it beautifully reflected the world you now found yourself in, waking up in the ruins of old Russia. Finding familiarity yet still somehow feeling as if there’s still more out there yet to be discovered. Back then people didn’t even have time to explain why they don’t have time to explain. Nowadays we actually do have an explanation as why they didn’t have time to explain. D1 experience and music will always be like the feeling of looking up at the expanse of the sky under whichever planet you found yourself on or at the ruins of old Russia at night under all the stars and aurora while the cracked moon orbits up above.

Truth be told, I don't think it was the game that gives us such great nostalgia. I believe that we hold our nostalgia for the amazing community that was the Destiny 1 community, where no one cared about being a Crucible legend or getting the best speedrun in a raid. It was all about getting on with the boys and finally tackling the raid, or finally getting that exotic, or just plain messing about!
It brings so many memories of better times, and I wish so badly that we could go back.
Yet, I am thankful for what I got to experience, and I am thankful for where I am now.
I remember some one uploading this on youtube but it got down. Thanks for bringing it up since it reminds the time I had fun playing Destiny still my favorite game to be released. The nostalgia is tearing me apart

Man, I remember having this download and would sleep through 12th grade science class. I will listen to this destiny and destiny. 2 music will always have a special heart in my place
9:06 imagine this... you arrive at the tower, lots of guardians doing dumb stuff like dancing, t-bagging as a peace sign, pointing at eachother for no reason in particular, and going to the vendors, depositing weapons and armors in the limited 108 space vault, and decripting engrams at rahool to get pure garbage (this is not missing as it still happens today)
As someone who’s been playing destiny since the beta and still going strong it’s sad to see in d2 the amount of people that are so set on their jobs and being the best that no one takes the time to have fun in the tower like d1, you get the odd fellow who’ll come up to you and you know he’s most likely been here from the beginning too
destiny shaped my taste in videogames and my taste in fiction, will always love it to death even if i don't keep up with d2 now. the guys that let little 10 year old me into the vault of glass with them changed my life lol. the stories i have from this game and the people i met man..

I remember the long nights of struggling and trying to get away so I would go to destiny. I never had my own copy of the game sadly and used my uncles while he was living at my grandmas. So every Weeknd on a Friday I would get out of 5th grade with joy knowing I was about to play some destiny and get away from everything. I’ll never forget all the long nights I had and staying up for more than 3 days with a bag of chips and some soda. This game forever changed me and I just wanna say thanks. I still play the game 7 years later at my grandmas house where I live. Thank you destiny I love all my guardians 😥😥😓😓

I remember I started collage back in 2013/14 and everyone in my class including our tutor was buzzing for destiny to come out!. Then on release night in the UK I qued up for about 3 hours. When I finally got my copy i was overwhelmed with emotion ( yes I know it sounds gay ) but I really did. Loved that game so much. Me and my mates smashing it out day in day out. Now it’s been 8 years. Out of our fireteam of 5 , I am the only one who remains playing destiny. How times have changed.
