I don't think CDPR can match the vibe of scenery + music in the next game, especially since they're switching to unreal engine, doesn't look stylized enough and I doubt the same people working on it will be the ones who did W3.
So W3 is peak ambiance, enjoy it.

Honestly the vanilla gameplay and movement is too horrendous, by today's standards or after playing elden ring it is even unplayable, however the world building and quests/story telling are top tier, so I gave it a shot after modding it with the first person mod ( I love immersion ) + magic spells mod, and it is now literally one of the best games ever (vanilla game qualities without the bad gameplay/fighting thanks to mods)
(It is my first playthrough ever I didn't do the vanilla game and without mods probably would have abandoned it after a dozen hours given the bad gameplay)
The Witcher 3 is not just a game. It's a masterpiece ❤

The Witcher 3 is probably the best game of all time or at least the best RPG/Action Adventure game of all time if you consider the sum of all its parts. The dialogue, The characters, the deep and complex story and its quests, the ambience, the amazing soundtrack, the medieval Eastern European setting, the engaging gameplay, the challenges etc. It's a true masterpiece.
Dont forget about Gothic 1 + 2, buy yeah, Witcher is top notch! ;)

Looking forward to playing this again...been what almost 10 years! Still so magical and gives me goosebumps. Nice to be able to lose yourself in a beautiful game and not think about life's woes.

I played the game again recently and I was excited at first, then I just became . . . content? Like I was enjoying it but it felt more like coming home than experiencing a different world. Anyone else get what I'm saying?

aaah so good. Normally I dont luike to have "visuals" for soundtracks but in this case I can do paperwork. listen, relax and every now and then gaze up and romaticise my witcher playing experience ^^
(its funny isnt it how much it was monster slashing yet these peaceful landscapes and moments make more memorable moments?! at least for me)

The scenes are wonderful, but in some scenes, you can almos see the hidden bodies that I slew 🫣

We can only hope, but based on the current weird state of CDPR, it's unlikely they will reach the same heights of the Witcher 3. Most of the original team that made that game is gone from the company.

I prefer most of The Witcher 3's music to most other fantasies. Yes, even Skyrim. Don't get me wrong, I adore Skyrim's music, but there's something about Witcher's music that just tickles that fantasy brain just right.
And this is one of the reasons why W3 must be played at Winter

I wish the reward for 100%ing blood and wine was getting to see toussaint in winter as it was in the books. With the option to disable it upon reloading.
Especially since dandelion can appear at the ending... it should have been an option. Id love to just wander around toussaint while a blizzard is raging away.

May I ask, how did you remix it? What tools? etc. What expertise?
Well, I used audacity to cut down the high frequency weaves, then I slowed it down by 2 %, gave it a reverb and implemented sounds of christmass bells. I did not know what to call it as the song was manipulated 😄

Sorry to ask, did the weathers and seasons for the continent mod got removed? I can't find it..
I think it is called, " the conjunctions of the seasons climate and nature overhaul" but I did combined some more mods with this one to get the result in the video.

Your stuff is great man, but if I could suggest something: change your channel description. There are loads of "chill ambiance mix" channels which are just AI slop, and that copy of yours is obviously AI generated too, wasn't a good look when I first found you

in the future, could you do some ambience with fewer scenes or slower switching scenes maybe? your videos have great music and aesthetics but I find them too distracting for studying because they move a lot! good job anyways
