Dear fellow Witcher Fans, With a lot of pleasure I can announce you that The Witcher 3: Emotional and Relaxing Music Part Three has been uploaded. I had enough content for another 46 minutes of listening pleasure. This will be the last part of emotional and relaxing music for the Witcher 3. This one is a special gift to all of you Witcher fans, who have been so extremely enthousiastic and shared your opinions about this beautiful game and it's lore. Let's never forget those precious memories! Link: ruclips.net/video/If8IyzjlcjA/видео.html Have fun,
Totally agree. Games will advance and become better in graphics, story, and creativity. But TW3 will always be a beacon in our mind, lasting forever as a wonderful memory.
Never think I could love a game so much, but to me TW3 and its characters are so endearing, like friends and family I've never met. I love to play the game again and again to keep seeing them.
I took a trip to Switzerland in 2019. I brewed myself a coffee, sat outside, and played this video whilst taking in the view. I won’t ever forget that moment.
I can say the same for DooM 3, damn I played through that game more than 20 times. The first time through was one HELL of a ride, I had so many points I just had to stop playing because it was so horrifying.
Im an old guy now, approaching 50, and at work not feeling that great but I feel like a little kid just anxious to get home, lay back and lose myself in the witcher 3 for a while. Man what an immersive world. I dont even play it to just do quests all the time, sometimes i just wander around to see the world, sightseeing and seeing what kind of trouble I can get into. That game is a gift, Im glad RPG's continue to thrive, theyre a wonderful escape. Theyre much more than just a 'game.' As someone who started with Zork, a text adventure game around 1980 lol, to play something like the witcher is amazing. #geeklifeforever
This game is absolutely so worth it. I can understand this urge to play it. I played it everyday and didn't even bother to check out any game while I was playing this. Other games might be 10/10 but witcher 3 is a class above, that its perfect.
first time I ever played I got the best ending without realising it, this game will always be a master piece such a shame to see they wont be planning on doing a witcher 4 for a long time, thankfully they haven't ruled out a 4th instalment (don't quote me on that and don't take my word for it)
What a masterpiece... Seriously this game leaves a huge void after you finish it, I've never felt this way after finishing a game. Everything is perfectly done in this game, the gameplay, the story, the soundtrack, characters, graphics, the huge interactive world... I get the feeling we won't ever get a game like this again. It got me through a very hard time in my life and I'm just thankful to CDPR for it.
It literally does. I started playing this after I finished Dragon Age: Inquisition. I was so distraught because I'm a Solavellan. Literally cried for freaking hours. Then my friend said, "Wanna cry some more?" Of course I agreed. Played Witcher for the first time and died all over again. At least Witcher 3 has a good ending for Geralt and Yen...or Triss...if you're into that.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm trying to fall asleep here and I keep thinking, I've had a lot of "favorite" games. Skyrim trumps all as far as hours I have invested doing every little thing. But Witcher 3 is like you said, a true masterpiece. It's art in so many aspects. it's being there in the game. The voice acting alone is incredible ! Beautiful huge environment really ties it together. I agree 100% there will likely not be another game that delivers like this. I hope you all lived in it like I did.
This game changed my perception of what game developers are capable of doing. I walked into this game without knowing anything about the Witcher series and I can say this is my favorite game of all time. It was perfect to me.
Same, knew nothing of the series but was completely immersed a short while in. Everything about it is amazing, and still coming back to this page to hear the music years later. Miracle of a game.
Perfect as in "terrible character movement? Terrible combat? Terrible environment interaction? Character moves in "massive arc" when turning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF?
Damn man. I'm gonna visit TW3 again again and again and I doubt I would forget it. The story feels so unbelievably real to forget it. The soundtrack gives you goosebumps instantly.
Been listening to this collection while I study for years now. And here I am again, studying for my first last college exam with fond memories of this collection as I sat in the library for hours every week trudging along through my education.
You spoke from my heart bruh! After finishing main and two extensions, I felt what you've just say.. now every night I play this music to remeber the witcher ambient. God knows I love this game.
Couldn't sleep for half a week after finishing the main game story... Then I noticed there are 2 DLCs and asked a forum if they were worth it(which was an obvious question for me, but I didn't want to get too excited for something that may include some new quests with maybe 2,3 new monsters). The senior art director of CD Project Red then talked me into buying it and I regret absolutely nothing. God, was I happy when I heard that I haven't really finished the game/story. Now 600 hours in game.
@@samgortshould have read before playing, that's what I did back in 2015 before the 3rd game was out - read books and played the first two games. And then played through the 3rd game with an average of 20-25 fps but it was so worth it
Whenever I hear this Soundtrack I get goosebumps... this game was so great and I felt legit empty after finishing it. It felt like I lost some good friends :\
I’m glad that even after 5 years of the release, people still gather at these youtube videos and comment. I love you all guys, and as I’m writing this, the sky is gray. Wind’s howling, looks like rain.
@@alidf7598 yeah it can, it can also play on android that has 3 GB and more ram and android 7.0 and higher. I am talking about gwent. If you have a good graphics card on your laptop then witcher 3 will run on low settings.
I can't really tell how much this game means to me: wonderful story, infinite content and such a soundtrack! CD Projekt Red has really reached such a level on gaming industry that all should bow on them! Edit: *7 years pass* aaaaand it's gone!
It's one of those games that forever stays with you in your mind, even when never stuff comes by, it's nowhere near the quality of W3... I don't want Geralts story to end.
Never thought a video game could affect me so profoundly as Witcher 3 did. I will never forget the story and characters that became almost like visiting a real friend.
I was so upset when I beat this game and realized I'd never get to play something so great ever again. By far the best game that I have had the honor to play.
@@kylerelliott1936 It isn't over yet. There was a time before the Witcher when people thought they'd played the best game ever, there's still time for developers to top themselves and others
@BalF naa my guy, I played both, and recently started the witcher 2, but my first witcher game was no. 1, it wasn't better, obviously not in graphics, although I LOVE the witcher 1 and how that made me get the other 2 games, Witcher 3 just isn't comparable, it's so far ahead of it's time, the game has so much to do, and the story is THAT good
oh god hear ya, but the thing is cyberpunk can be garbage or cab be masterpiece, we can only hope at this point. yet there is Last of Us part 2 coming our way so we are set =) P.S. dont give Cyberpunk much hype yet and dont preorder
This game really did get me through the most difficult time of my life; mysterious medical condition that ended my career, my husband lost his career shortly after, a MIL and SIL that became determined to inflict as much misery as possible, my dad died, I was diagnosed with cancer, it just never seemed to end. Got through it by searching for Ciri.
@@heresyisecstasy Had a similar situation, my father died for covid-19 while was probably in the worst situation possible, I was really depressed and my mother got depressed soon after, i didn't know life could get so worst in a already bad situation but ok never give up
its those little things, that ties you to geralt. you are experiencing what he's experiencing. you're one and the same. this game is so damn near perfect at immersion.
@@XGamesForge Me too haha anytime I need some tune s playing in the background while building my RPG I always throw on the TW3 soundtrack. Or Stranger Synths, which I highly recommend if you're into synthwave.
When I read comments like that I feel so lucky to still not have finished the game, getting closer to the end of main quest sadly... Luckily I still have the dlc hehe
@@commandershepard8929 I found a solution man before finishing the game I started reading the books and they are so fkin great that I haven't touched the game in 4 days
Les éthérés agreed... to anyone who beaten the game and haven't read the books spare some cash and get the books, read them, and memorize them then play Witcher 3 again I swear you'll get a better idea to the game and it's references and why Geralts relationships are so heartfelt
no, this is the best game ever made, and will be until we either get the witcher 3, or CD project red pulls something new out their ass, otherwise, this game has no competition, it's that good
Be patient. I am a witcher noob. Trying to get uset to the mechanics. The graphics are breath taking., yennifer is beautiful and I love gwent. I have only scratched the surface. I cant wait to sink my teeth deep into this game
@Markus RER Same. After probably 500 hours of living in the Witcher world, I wasn't quite sure what to do with myself when it was all over. I moped around and re-arranged all the stuff in my vineyard house a few times, but that was it. I'm really looking forward to doing a new game plus run when the next gen patch comes out.
What is worse, that if you listen to the dialogue with Regis, you'll see that Geralt looking at the player is a form of goodbye, like "We been through hell and heaven, now it's time to rest"

This game was unique in my opinion, in terms of the experience alone. Especially playing it the first time, even though the game is truly gigantic, and even after many, many hours of playing and replaying; you kept finding new stuff all the time. There is no game that I ever played that had this much of an impact on me. They throw you into this world, and you become part of that world, more so than in any other game. You start feeling at home in it. After having fully completed the game, with nothing more to do, you still spend hours just traveling the world, climbing mountains, sailing its seas. But then the world becomes empty, most of the characters you got to know and love or hate are gone, and you do start feeling sad. You have already done the new + game, and so you start all over again, and play through it again, taking your time, collecting as much stuff as you can; I literally collected every single weapon, clothing and armor piece, item, painting, etc. I could possibly get my hands on. I think I must've restarted the game completely at least twice. In the end, it's all just a great memory of the best gaming experience you've ever had. You put on the game's music every now and then, in the background, and the music takes you back to the icy, mysterious island of Undvik, the beautiful lands of Toussaint, or the eerie swamps in Velen. Getting drunk with Eskel and Lambert, dealing with the Bloody Baron, finding Ciri on an enchanted isle covered in fog, and helping Olgierd and his beloved wife.. it really was an amazing journey. I hope CDPR returns to this franchise in the future, and gives us a fourth Witcher experience, because no matter how cool their new Cyberpunk game is, to me, the world of the Witcher will probably always be the most memorable and fascinating. I still miss it when I listen to its wonderful soundtrack.
I hope one day they will fix all drawbacks of the third Witcher and release it as latest game but completely polished. I personally don't ask for the Witcher 4 cause the third one was logically completed journey and the only way to expand it to make a separate stories of characters, but it would never be a classical 4 cause there are no books left for that.. > _But then the world becomes empty, most of the characters you got to know and love or hate are gone, and you do start feeling sad._ I was devastated at this moment. Literally not knowing what to do with my life. The Best Characters Ever. The Best Soundtrack Ever. The Best Game Ever.
"They throw you into this world, and you become part of that world, more so than in any other game." This is exactly what they did in Shenmue. This whole thing of making the game "alive" where you become part of it feeling and you feel like the npc are your friends or family is what they did in Shenmue back then in 1999 where each NPC had unique dialog and programmed daily schedule you could see them get out of their home in the morning for work then head back home at night. Witcher was greatly influenced by Shenmue you can clearly see it, especially the whole making game alive and family feel. That is why CDPR publicity thanked Shenmue for innovating the concept of "Open world games"
Some encouragement to my fellow Witchers. After 40 years of gaming i am now 61 i can assure you there will emerge sooner or later more master pieces as they did before this one. However each master piece will be part of your life and the older you get you will charish them as i do because those are part of my life. My first was on amiga2000 called Fate Gates of Dawn somewhere in the 1985 or so. Took me over a year and 56 A3 pieces to map and finish it. In technical aspect of course nowadays looks like shit back than it was great. Through the years i found quite some gems and they are all part of my journey through life. Each in their own way. The Witcher 3 is one of them.
Lovely. I always think of myself in the future. Will I remember those games? I think I will. I honestly can say that playing games like The Witcher make beautiful memories.
Oh yeah, I totally agree with your first part of the comment. Projekt RED came togheter with another Polish fantasy writer as I heard some time ago, it'll take few years for next game, nevertheless I look forward for it! :-)
To me, after this one, another masterpiece had appeared. That would be Nier: Automata. A philosophical game set in a beautiful, futuristic, but also a deeply nihilistic setting.
Oh hell yeah gamers have no age we are united in our stories we share adventures we share swet and blod we share tears we share losts we share laughter we share victories and im so thankfull to bei alive in this time and thanks for charing your story with us i imagine you as a type of Vesemir ❤️
I always think of how exciting life will still be for me when I’m older because I’ll have so many new games and installments to my favorite franchises. Some games, like the Witcher 3, carry so much value through storytelling and gameplay that they’re truly unforgettable. I’m happy to share that experience with others. CANT wait to see what else is in store for us!
Agreed. Don't listen to the "you're just a hive mind" bullshit you'll hear these days. There's a damn good reason so many people love this game and hail it as the greatest game to date.
@@Goro69 red dead redemption fanboys and then you have the elder scrolls and the souls even the last of us ones saying the witcher its overrated and i love rockstar, souls games and im from playstation but they are annoying saying the witcher its overrated

You know that feeling when you haven't heard something so familiar in a long time, and you happen to hear it again for the first time in a while, it makes you feel all types of emotions.
The fact that each of these soundtracks carved deep into your memory and every time you listen to them reminds you of some random moments inside the game and brings some tears to you, is just absolutely outstanding. Up to this day, every time I play it again, I really feel like I'm really in that world.
These Witcher games are special. I haven't felt this way about a game since the first time I play morrowind. I always feel this rush of nostalgia when I hear the morrowind theme or hear or see anything from that game. This is the modern version of that. Years from now I will feel that same rush of nostalgia when I remember the adventures of Geralt of Rivia. The Witcher 3 is not perfect, but it is the best game I have ever played. I never thought something would be able to top Morrowind but the story, characters, environments and music here is beyond words. Even though i got this game for free with my graphics card I wish there was a way I could let them know just how much I appreciate this. Maybe I'll buy it for all my friends and spread the word of The White Wolf. Damn fine work CDPR, damn fine work.
I have 2 copies of the game. On for my Xbox One and another for my PC which I just upgraded to max the game out. I will be traveling to Poland some time in the future and will visit heir HQ, idk if they offer tours though.
Killerkram Lastname wow, same here! I completely finished Morrowind 6 or 7 times, playing alltogether atleast 1000 hours. In my school days I was playing it every big holidays we had. Amazing game, story, world and soundtrack. Even graphics back then. And Witcher 3 is topping that!! Few weeks ago I finished it with every possible quest having 83 lv on the end. :) Two best games ever. Thank you very much CD Projekt.
I would rather recommend visiting Cracow or Malbork castle and having Andrzej Sapkowski's books to feel the vibe of Witcher rather than visiting CD-Projekt HQ.
feeling the same way, man. Gaming since the late 80's and only a couple of games give me the 'feels'. Incredibly, I still haven't finished the game but I'm already feeling nostalgic when I think about it. Maybe it's because I may not get to play another of its breadth ever.
idk why but everytime i hear witcher 3 music (i havent finished the blood and wine yet) i keep watering up a little inside, it's really difficult to hold back on all the memories in this game
I know right :) been a year since i finished the game and a couple of months for all those expansion packs but man, every time i hear its Music, i always get the feeling of living back those time, like, literally inside the game itself. truely great game xD
You know I get a really strange feeling - I really miss the world of Witcher 3 ( I beat it 3 times + expansions), I don't really want to go at it for the 4th time so soon, I want to wait at least a year or two to jump back. Back to that feeling - I remember when I played the game for the first time, it was truly special, discovering every new area, new characters, connecting with them, the funny moments, the bad moments, the sad moments, this game is an incredibly polished and expertly crafted rollercoaster of emotions. I miss that time when I played this game for the first time, sometimes when I listen to Witcher 3 music I feel those "first playthrough" emotions and I instantly get butterflies in my stomach :-) it may sound odd to some but that's how I feel about The Witcher 3 - a masterpiece.
A Masterpiece in its own wright for sure. I don't read books much, but even i am considering reading the witcher series + the Hexer TV/movies, just to get some extra Witcher'ness
Damn true fellow, i've never thought that i'll tell something like this about the game, but... i feel exactly the same... emptiness after finising the Witcher is so terrible, especially when you realize that there will be no more Witchers :( nothing to waiting for. No consolation. No chance to meet Geralt, Triss, Yen and others again... :( Lucky one who have never played The Witcher.
I still remember the feeling when I binged played The Witcher 3 for the first time, during first lockdown. From March to May every single day. Memorable days 💞
I played Fallout 4 during this period and it was my first game, by the way, so I also have a nostalgia for these 3.5 months. Speaking of Witcher 3... I played it during last autumn and December. Also one of the best gaming experience for me😌
I want to forget all about the Witcher 3, So I can experience it again. Im even willing to buy it again, just for the experience lol...who else wants this..
Tell me about it, mate. I have played countless games in my 30 year long gaming life and this one takes the cake. I still haven't played Blood & Wine. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

Sorry to get all intense on you witcher fans, but when this game came out, I ruined things with my girlfriend of 3 years and she broke us off, she even left the country. Playing something as engaging and emotional as this really put me through the ringer, there would be times where I would be sat up at 4am staring at the screen with tears in my eyes (saying goodbye to Triss destroyed me) but I truly do believe that it helped me come to grips with myself and get over the break up. Masterpieces like this are rare and are more than just video games, I only wish the general public could see that.
I know this is a videogame but honestly, seeing Geralt's facial expression when he finds Ciri and thinks she's dead is one of the most memorable parts of my life. Not that that's saying much...
@@darukan It truly has a powerful effect. That's half the reason, if not most of the reason, this game is such a masterpiece. My only regret is never knowing of 1 and 2. I played Skyrim and wanted another game like that to play, but this blew Skyrim away. So many emotions while playing.
33:30 makes me cry everytime. Visiting Skellige is so sad while listening to this... it feels like something that i loved some much is gone now, and it will never return again... damm this game is something...
Skellige really riffs on Irish culture, and traditional Irish music has a very mournful edge to it just the way you describe, like waiting for something that you know has already passed on.
Sometimes there is something beautiful is letting things disappear and having no thought of return. Like watching a boat sail on a sun-setting day among the fog and just appreciating the sight and not thinking of it to return back. Something more amazing awaits.....
My dear friends, I'm listening to this playlist once more and I can't bear the chills I have while hearing Blood and wine tracks. I listened those songs so many times during the various covid lockdown, a few weeks after finishing Blood and wine. These helped so much to escape the grey life we were living at the moment. I'll always be so thankful to CD Projekt and the musicians they hired for these moments. The Witcher 3 may have been the last fantasy game I did for a long time, the last moment of childhood I got before starting to work, but it sure have been the most beautiful adventure I lived in a video game. Enjoy life, we're very lucky to be here, listening to this masterpiece.
I remember that 4 years ago I started to playing this game. I felt in love immediately. So, I had a best friend, her name was Varinia, she was the best, but at that time we had some discussions and we were separated. Although I was waiting for the moment to talk to her and play this game together; just as we played many other games. But a month later she died. I still remember that I was playing The Witcher 3 and then my phone rang and they told me that she died. The first 3 months I was so depressed that I couldn't do anything. Everytime I wanted to play this game made me think of her, I wanted to enjoy this game with her and I decided that I will. I enjoyed this game for me and for her, as she was there by my side. This game mean so much to me, it's music, it's art, it's characters, everything. I will always love you Varinia.
I was left completely speechless reading this. See this is the power of video games and this game in general , it bonds people together something which movies will never achieve. I’m sure your Varinia will be looking upon you from heaven, enjoying every moment you play a new game.
I listen to Witcher 3 music every 2-3 days, I can't stop going back to that amazing world (even if it's just the music :> ), I feel really connected to it. The music in Witcher 3 is heartwarming for me, I get butterflies in my stomach and goosebumps every time I hear a track from Witcher 3 OST (especially White Orchard theme and then visualizing that area in my head :> instant goosebumps).
I love so much this game and the atmosphere in it, I've start it to played it again yesterday, and remembered the good time that I've lived in it, no problems, no responsibilities, and my mom was still alive, I wish I could go back in time...
I played witcher 3 cracked version.. lol.. bcause i thought this game will be boring. but after 2 hours play i was like, hmm okay this is very very wrong.. and then i decided to buy it through steam. How dare i play such a beautiful game for free... this isn’t just a game.. this is piece of art !! I love you cd projekt red
Took me about 20 to 25 hours before I started getting into it. What draws me into it is the quality of writing in the dialogue and story but the controls, camera and movement is what prevents this game from being literally perfect.
@@masterofrecipe8092 Yeah, fighitng system, camera and movements are what splits this game from the "perfection" tag I would otherwise stick on it. They are not terrible by any means. Just lack perfections compared to the writing/music/graphics/atmosphere and such.. ehh
@@masterofrecipe8092 There are some other problems actually. Those who carefully read the books and followed the story the contains some inconsistencies for instance. Some things left me really deeply saddened by the end of the story. I even hated it for a while. But I would agree that currently there is no other game that can beat this one and I could say it's nearly perfect.
I had the worst ending and I was devestated but the dlcs made me happy but at the end when everything where completed and you had no more interaction with pnj it's sad, so I've played on the hardest difficulty. But you can't have the first impression you had like in Life is Strange you cannot erase your memory and restart and rediscover character and stuff, that's it, you have no more, you cannot see more of them
The Witcher 3 meant so much more then a game to me. In all this years that i play videogames there was never such a art. The whole world, the citys, the music, its like a real journey. And the characters are more familliar to me then my real one. Thats how powerful a game could be. Im glad to live in this time, because i can say i played The Witcher games.

Witchers. Their blades rust as time passes. Yes, even the silver one. Their legacies pass on either in the heat of battle, or forgotten after the job is done. Fans of the series- born, rise and die. But one thing remains ever eternal: The Soul, and the music that moves it.
I've started a completely new game again of TW3 now that the update has been released and even though I've already finished it several times in the past, going back to it and reliving the story after a few years is like wrapping myself in a warm, fuzzy blanket with a cup of hot cocoa while it's cold and rainy outside ❤ I can get lost in the world and the music for hours again

It's strange, when I listen to this I feel happy but so sad at the same time. Maybe because the music itself is amazing, but it also reminds me of the fact that I'll never be able to experience this game for the first time ever again.
It is hard to describe what I feel. Bought the trilogy in 2016, finished it only recently (August). W1 & 2 were astounding, gigantic and gave me both hundreds of hours of fun and so deeply inspired and interesting storyline and quests to follow. Then came W3 and outperformed everything (aside minor details): A huge open world, that I personally never thought to be imaginable. So intriguing and interesting plotlines (either maingame, notably the Radovid part. And the 2 DLC stories are JUST amazing! So well written). The music is wonderful, the scenery so gorgeous that you spend hours just exploring rather than doing anything useful. The characters are well made (esp. in the DLC). It is fun, well though, well built for a proper gameplay. Each region has its unique traits, and it's a wonder to look for every little secret hidden gems left by the developers. I spent more hours in this game than the two first combined and I am quite a completionist! CDProjekt Red honored its supporters and gamers. Witcher 3 is (for now) the ultimate dedication of a true video game player's passion. It is complete!
The story in Heart of Stone was fantastic except for the dumb wedding bit and that slut you can't avoid kissing, but Blood and Wine (so far) seems like a more complete expansion set in a whole other zone to explore with new monsters to fight. The mutations seem cool too. I'm really enjoying it so far. I might even start the game all over again when I'm finished which is something I rarely ever do.... I'm not sure I can let this game go and find another one just as good to fill the void.
This game should come with a warning - can cause serious addiction - I've completed 100% and now can't fill the hole inside... I even read all the books in the series and yet I crave more. The soundtrack is all that is left that soothes my soul...
@@ΚωνσταντίνοςΑδέμης If you still have not done Horizon Zero Down, I only can recommand it to you. Same kind of gameplay, with a good story, amazing atmosphere and unique open world. to me the only game to have beaten TW3 for now ;)
So funny, I have this feeling right now. I just finished Lady of the Lake and and all I want is more of this world. Escapism at its best. Hope the next game CDPR makes takes us back. May it come sooner than we all expect.
I have such an strange relationship to this game. It was probably the time in my life when my future was most uncertain. Freshly unemployed, but still young enough to live at home with my parents, no money, but Witcher 3. I slept, ate, played, ate, slept, and probably dreamed about the game. Looking back now, my life is settled, but I'll never forget the freedom at that time.
Same here, the first time i played it i was 16-17, i remember that exact night, i played around 16 hours in a row, went to sleep and had a dreams about it, i will never forget that moment. Years later I've got whole Witcher Audiobook, always listened to it before going to sleep, and i also had dreams about it. In my opinion The Witcher is the best universe.
I bought this game 2 years ago, i left it collecting dust for 4 months before i even had time to consider picking it up. I lost my job and so .. i guess without meaning to i had time on my hands once more. And I tell you what, i have never felt so passionate about a game. Not only was the storyline captivating! It was visually pleasing! I was glued for weeks. Now ive completed it, i cant bring myself to replay it.. as, this sounds silly but.. it means so much i cant fathem the thought of it being over. This music brings great memories and sends me to sleep.
@Death-Sensei Well, we also have to remember that The Witcher series has an excellent set of source material to create from. Most of the ground work was already done, CDPR's job was just to bring the world to life and tell their own stories based off of what lore the books could provide. RDR is an R* original IP. There's no long established book series to pull from. They had to do it all from scratch, pulling from previously established lore of the two other games that weren't fully fleshed out. Those games being RedDeadRevolver & RedDeadRedemption. It makes perfect sense that The Witcher would feel more fleshed out when you consider what they had to work with. However, CDPR could learn from R* and make their world a bit more interactive beyond Gwent and the amount of lady Cheeks that Geralt can Clap. (I actually wish RDR2 allowed for that, like they do GTA). Even though I probably wouldn't use it, it makes the character feel alive. Like a person who has wants, needs, and desires. Being able to sit down in taverns/inn's and drink til' you pass out, play cards or other mini-games, or stop and make camp in the wilderness under a beautiful sky while cooking game you've hunted, feeding yourself and your horse, bathing, sleeping in inn's. Honestly, it all just adds to the feel of the world. Making it feel more alive, further immersing you in an already immersive world.
Last summer I had a really important surgery concerning my jaw (about 9 hours of intervention) It was in July. Just before it, I discovered the Witcher 3. When I came back home, this game really helped me to stay strong and to entertain me because I wasn’t able to eat « solid food » for about 1-2 months and it was very hard. So i only ate soup, in the middle of summer haha So I listened to the soundtrack every day. Now it brings back a lot of memories every time I listen to the soundtrack. (Sorry for the probable mistakes, I’m French)
Hey man, It's weird I had a very similar experience last summer too - jaw surgery after a bike accident. The Witcher 3 really helped me get through the tough times. Hope you are well now, it's quite a long recovery after stuff like that, took me over 6 months to be back to 'normal'
I had never played Witcher 1 and 2. Then I bought Witcher 3 on PS4. I ended up getting Platinum for it. Most definitely one of the best RPGs I ever played.
Terminal Velocity When I bought the game I just did it on a random notice. I'd heard good things about it, but I didn't know it was part of a big series and didn't know it was based on a book series. But when I played it, I instantly fell in love. This game is just so fucking captivating in every way. There is yet to be a game that tops this masterpiece in my eyes.
My favourite game of all time is the witcher 3. I've literally just finished the last book from Sapkowski. Started the first one in March, always with this soundtrack during my readings. I'm writing this with tears in my eyes: Thank you for everything Geralt, Yen and Ciri. I will never forget you. My best companions...
I've been reading the Witcher series 20 years ago. I loved it but never expected the game would be better than the book. I've found that game represents more Slavic folklore and mythology than books
I've been playing The Witcher 3 almost continuously for the past few days. It's still magical if not as magical as the first time playing the game. This playlist makes me think back to riding along the endless landscapes of Velen, Kaer Morhan or Toussaint at any time of the day. Sometimes you feel like you are in Geralt's rather lonely life, but that's what I love about the game ❤️
44:16 Nostalgic feeling playing through White Orchard for the first time and that melancholy song coming on while riding Roach into the majestic sunset.
brings tears to my eyes. this is a wonderful achievement, climax of rpg. and each tune is perfect. awesome. words arent enough for witcher3. what an achievement by CDPR.
The Priscilla Song is one of my fav. It's a MASTERPIECE. Even in the game cutscene I actually listened to the whole thing. Didn't knew it was here on this video, that voice is breathtaking. Definitely gives me the feel
Videogames are art. I think everyone can agree with that. And the soundtrack of Witcher 3 puts you in Kaer Morhen, Skellige, Oxenfurt, Velen... Unbelieveble masterpiece
I first played the game in 2016 and it completely blew me away. I replayed it last year and it was still an amazing ride. Still miss that first time I played it.
The Kaer Morhen theme always makes me fell weird, some sort of nostalgia; knowing that I was listening to this theme right before the big battle, the last time when everyone is together. It hits hard man
I love the kaer morhen theme but I also dislike hearing it because it fills me with sadness emptiness , especially after I finished the main quest and spawned in kaer morhen. It was so damn empty man, it was tough to realise that all are gone from kaer morhen , such an uncomfortable feeling. But the theme also brings up memories of great moments and a sense of home. Also, I hope you read this comment and get reminded of this video, so maybe stick around and listen to this masterpiece?
I just have to say, every time time I play through this amazing game and come to it's inevitable conclusion, I get a sense of sadness as if waking from a dream I did not wish to wake from. I have come to realization that Witcher 3 is more than a game, but a mental experience that stimulates the mind to pursue ambitions and actions that otherwise we could not necessarily do in our "real world". Of course we know that is ultimately what a developer wants; to ensnare every fan and casual alike into visual impulses that acts like a drug to keep wanting more and more. That said, even despite the rich visual world of nooks and peaks, I can't escape the fact that what solidifies all my thoughts and love of this Art, is the amazing soundtrack. The music is organic and swells in it's moments along with the ambient environments immersed in every note. ...then we wake from this dream and we're reminded that the real world can be worse than an alley full of Whoreson thugs, or as distressing as Redanian Witch Hunters. Fair well on your path my people..."looks like rain"
You can achieve greatness in your life. Don't be shackled by the chains of mediocrity that society puts upon you. You have power. You can dare to be a hero in THIS world. Contribute something. Explore. Inquire. Question. Invent. Create. Change the course of history. It's all in your hands my friend.
@@mariemichaels8658 it just made me feel like my soul was free and was just levitating without anything weighing it down. Felt like i did not belong to this world.
That moment after 3 hours playing, presumably at 3 AM, when you're already tired but so in love with the game. You remove completely the HUD, you walk to a river, or to the port of Novigrad. You take off Geralt's clothes and jump into the water. And you can even feel the cold water, the wind on the wet skin, the smell of the port,... And then you walk out of the water, put the clothes on and just feel like if you really had taken a shower. The way this game immerses you in a completely different world it's just magic. And to achieve that with fucking 3D figures covered with pictures called textures, that ladies and gentlemen is art.
I was so immersed, it felt so real that when I got the stable built for Roach at Corvo Bianco, I used to take her saddle and saddlebags off, just to give her a bit of a break. Then I'd go to bed! One of the best games I've ever played.
I recently started my 2nd playthrough of this game...and stepping into the fields of Skellige again was such a surreal experience-brought back a lot of memories from my first time playing. This is truly one of the best games ever made
My first Witcher game and I've never been more happy with a game purchase. This game just completely had me addicted and mesmerised throughout the game and both expansions and instantly became my favourite game of all time which I doubt will be topped if I'm honest Love every aspect of it. Fields of Ard Skellig is probably my favourite track.

The worst thing about this game is that we'll never get to experience it the way we did when we first played it.
play far cry 3

I can say the same for DooM 3, damn I played through that game more than 20 times. The first time through was one HELL of a ride, I had so many points I just had to stop playing because it was so horrifying.
@@kazimkabir6620 far cry 3 is good, but this game utterly destroys it imo
True. On my 4th playthrough. Can't get enough of it.
Time spent wandering around no man's land is time treasured. I can't wait to play this game again.
This game is absolutely so worth it. I can understand this urge to play it. I played it everyday and didn't even bother to check out any game while I was playing this. Other games might be 10/10 but witcher 3 is a class above, that its perfect.
try red dead redemption 2 also for the best immersive experience
Couldn't agree more. Been playing games since the late 80's and this is the most immersive game I have ever played and it is not even close.
Exactly the same experience for me but on Red Dead Redemption 2, I'm starting The Witcher 3 right now, excited for this
Finishing this game and spawning at Kaer Mohen all by myself left me without a sense of what to do with my life.
Guilherme Al did you get the good ending or the bad ending ?
if i didn't broke the dikxtra's leg i could kill the radovid and save the other spesies :(( i felt so bad about that decision
I got the best ending, having a villa with yennifer by my side.
first time I ever played I got the best ending without realising it, this game will always be a master piece such a shame to see they wont be planning on doing a witcher 4 for a long time, thankfully they haven't ruled out a 4th instalment (don't quote me on that and don't take my word for it)
The dlc is the answer for that my Son.. go forth!
At least Witcher 3 has a good ending for Geralt and Yen...or Triss...if you're into that.
yes!!!
I hope you all lived in it like I did.
got the same after the mass effect trilogie.
I had a massive void once I finished it
This game changed my perception of what game developers are capable of doing.
I relate so strongly. Live on Geralt, live and love.
Same here

I love how people still come back all these years later and spend time listening to this musical masterpiece.

The main problem about finishing the game is accepting it's over. The atmosphere is unique! For us all that's left is hear this amazing soundtrack.

White Orchard Theme is AMAZING TUNE! I LOVE IT!
> _But then the world becomes empty, most of the characters you got to know and love or hate are gone, and you do start feeling sad._
I was devastated at this moment. Literally not knowing what to do with my life.
The Best Characters Ever.

@@matle000 probably the best possible way to get over this void haha. Another INCREDIBLE game!
My wife suggested this as background music for our civil wedding. I couldn't say no.

Last time I saw rain in The Witcher, I actually wanted to shudder.

The fact that each of these soundtracks carved deep into your memory and every time you listen to them reminds you of some random moments inside the game and brings some tears to you, is just absolutely outstanding.

Me too bro.. i was anxious when i saw Ciris travel trough the mask... or when we first went to Novigrad.. the big city, a lot people etc..
Bartosz Krotowski Oh I plan to visit all of the Slavic heritage sites.
feeling the same way, man.
Peter Clarke Don't watch the hexer. It's very bad. Don't let your awesome memories of the game be polluted by those hexer shits.

Literally the same. Good old period in 2020.
Triss > Yenn

Sorry to get all intense on you witcher fans, but when this game came out, I ruined things with my girlfriend of 3 years and she broke us off, she even left the country. Playing something as engaging and emotional as this really put me through the ringer, there would be times where I would be sat up at 4am staring at the screen with tears in my eyes (saying goodbye to Triss destroyed me) but I truly do believe that it helped me come to grips with myself and get over the break up. Masterpieces like this are rare and are more than just video games, I only wish the general public could see that.
i have never cried or laughed or been as emotionally moved as much as i have during this game
geralt is so likable.
'Wild at Heart' and 'Ugly Baby' scarred my soul. In modern gaming, there's nothing close to the emotional resonance of this masterpiece.
Have you played Season 1 of The walking dead? Played it when I was 18 and got a bit teary eyed I dont like to admit
Bruh I feel ya! Idk y but this reminds me of my childhood. Sadly never going back to it
Sometimes there is something beautiful is letting things disappear and having no thought of return.

I'm so sorry. I'm sure would've smiled upon what you've done for her.
i think Varinia will always be there with you every time you play a new game, enjoying together with you :)
Thank you, both of you :')
🙏 ..no words..🙏
I was left completely speechless reading this. See this is the power of video games and this game in general , it bonds people together something which movies will never achieve. I’m sure your Varinia will be looking upon you from heaven, enjoying every moment you play a new game.
Anyone else gets butterflies in the stomach, every time u heard this music ?
Makes me sad i wont be able to continue my Epic Adventure.
Andrzej Sapkowski's books.
damn what is butterflystomach?
Andrzej Sapkowski's books is where you should begin adventure to this world, and the game - where should end.
I'm not sad I can't continue I'm glad I got to play a game that has an afterward experience

Took me about 20 to 25 hours before I started getting into it. What draws me into it is the quality of writing in the dialogue and story but the controls, camera and movement is what prevents this game from being literally perfect.
I paid 20 euros and I felt I robbed them, gonna buy their next game blind.

It is complete!
well said!
I bought the third one cause they didn’t have the first two but this one have hearts in stone blood and wine and 16 dlcs

About same as you but I was working and was single. I had lots of time to play videogames. 8 years later things have changed significantly...
I love you, Poland! Thank you for such wonderful art!

Truly a special game that I don't think any other game will ever be able to achieve.
Facts!
it's completely unique.
Red dead 2 was great but I don't think it has the same level as witcher 3. Both made me cry like a baby tho lmaoo.
@Death-Sensei here's hoping man
The witcher is not a game or a book series, it's a mandatory life experience.
there is more than one game u know?
@@justyourordinarytom6528 nope , not like the Witcher
@@justyourordinarytom6528 The other games suck balls though
@@mangue7195 how so?
Last summer I had a really important surgery concerning my jaw (about 9 hours of intervention) It was in July. Just before it, I discovered the Witcher 3. When I came back home, this game really helped me to stay strong and to entertain me because I wasn’t able to eat « solid food » for about 1-2 months and it was very hard. So i only ate soup, in the middle of summer haha
So I listened to the soundtrack every day. Now it brings back a lot of memories every time I listen to the soundtrack.
(Sorry for the probable mistakes, I’m French)
Don't worry
Your accent smell good la baguette
I hope you felt better now
Hey man, It's weird I had a very similar experience last summer too - jaw surgery after a bike accident.
Scott Socash Same here, I just heard it's a good game and I wanted to have a new rpg so I ended up loving it
same here heard so many good reviews had to try it got it a week ago ,did not disappoint I'm currently in Novigrad
My favourite game of all time is the witcher 3.
I've literally just finished the last book from Sapkowski.
Started the first one in March, always with this soundtrack during my readings.
I'm writing this with tears in my eyes:
Thank you for everything Geralt, Yen and Ciri.
I will never forget you.
My best companions...
Lovely comment dude!
I've been reading the Witcher series 20 years ago. I loved it but never expected the game would be better than the book. I've found that game represents more Slavic folklore and mythology than books
Didn't even mention Triss D:
I've been playing The Witcher 3 almost continuously for the past few days. It's still magical if not as magical as the first time playing the game. This playlist makes me think back to riding along the endless landscapes of Velen, Kaer Morhan or Toussaint at any time of the day. Sometimes you feel like you are in Geralt's rather lonely life, but that's what I love about the game ❤️
44:16 Nostalgic feeling playing through White Orchard for the first time and that melancholy song coming on while riding Roach into the majestic sunset.
YES!!!
Grande Polonia!! Well done Poland!

ARRIBA ESPAÑA!
We are so proud because Witcher 3 its not just a game. Love from Poland
@@Megadex658 Jejeje bien dicho
brings tears to my eyes. this is a wonderful achievement, climax of rpg. and each tune is perfect. awesome. words arent enough for witcher3. what an achievement by CDPR.
(11:00) this soundtrack is everything
It almost made me tear up
Can you please give me the name of this soundtrack ???

The Priscilla Song is one of my fav. It's a MASTERPIECE. Even in the game cutscene I actually listened to the whole thing. Didn't knew it was here on this video, that voice is breathtaking. Definitely gives me the feel
Videogames are art. I think everyone can agree with that. And the soundtrack of Witcher 3 puts you in Kaer Morhen, Skellige, Oxenfurt, Velen... Unbelieveble masterpiece
And blood wines , Heart of stone? :(
Novigrad:(
Best game I've ever played, and best game I will ever play.
Yep, couldn't agree more. It's nothing short of a masterpiece!
jDreamer fuck you
You're wrong. Eventually "The Witcher 4", will! :D
Let's hope they miss making the witcher games, and make the witcher 4
Where have you heard this? I'm pretty sure it hasn't been confirmed.
Well done Poland!
Love from the UK

12:00 there’s something about this theme when you first step into Skellige that’s just... magical
@@mariemichaels8658 it just made me feel like my soul was free and was just levitating without anything weighing it down. Felt like i did not belong to this world.

Well.. let's play this masterpiece again, for the 5th time
leozinxt Haha, dito ☝️️😂
Damn you beat me, on my 4th time atm xD
I have beaten it twice...going for a third time myself!
Lol, i'm on my 5th now :D
Pretty sure you can keep doing new game + as many times as you want. :)
3 hour sessions? That's cute.
I was so immersed, it felt so real that when I got the stable built for Roach at Corvo Bianco, I used to take her saddle and saddlebags off, just to give her a bit of a break. Then I'd go to bed! One of the best games I've ever played.
Wait until you reach 'Toussaint'
Only then you would realize what beauty is.
I recently started my 2nd playthrough of this game...and stepping into the fields of Skellige again was such a surreal experience-brought back a lot of memories from my first time playing. This is truly one of the best games ever made
The best game ever... best story with multiple choices, best music, best masterpiece.
The masterpiece virtual job ever produced! It will go down in history for short and long generations, certainly!
This is perfect for studying
