Please allow me to formally request Vladthemadmonk be honored, he was my childhood best friend and he passed away on June 23rd 2022 due to a car crash I ask all to help bring honor and distinction to him and his Legacy, he got me even more into halo and online gaming as a whole, he really had a massive impact on me and my life and I miss him dearly. RIP VLADTHEMADMONK
It didn't take long for Reach to fall; our enemy was ruthless. Efficient. But they weren't nearly fast enough. You had already passed the torch. Because of you, we found Halo, unlocked it's secrets, shattered our enemy's resolve. Our victory - your victory - was so close, I wish you could have been there to see it. But you belong to Reach. Your body, your armor - all burned and turned to glass. Everything... except your courage. That you gave to us, and with it, we can rebuild.
I remember this I just can’t remember from were if you could tell me that was great of course this was posted 9 Months ago so I don’t Think I’m getting a response
@@cliftonammons459 it’s the epilogue speech Dr. Catherine Halsey gives upon the major recolonization of Reach in the mid 2580s, shown after you finish the mission Lone Wolf
No you don't. I have that ability and have correctly identified that moment dozens of times. It just doesn't really do anything positive and is more frustrating. It's like wishing to sense a very strong foul smell every time you get upset. Like that doesn't really actually add any value to your life as unique as it is, and it really just makes things worse than not having that ability. It's like time travel. You'd think you can just go back on September 10 and tell everyone not to come in tomorrow but nope. You're just some kid and now you've ruined your life because that sounds like a threat. Why would anybody believe you? So you reset again and let's try to start a fire that way they'll be forced to evacuate. Nope, turns out it's actually pretty hard to start a fire in a massively surveillance area on a brick building specifically built to try to resist that sort of thing. Maybe there's a different angle and we can go to the airport and report those suspicious guys. Nope, they're valid customers and why aren't you in school anyway. Every action you take will get shot down and your interference doesn't end up mattering. That's what happens when you call the good times. What're you going to do? Silently take a moment to look around and remember this moment because all your buddies are going to get married next year which means houses and kids and no time to stay up to 4am playing xbox? Well great, now you can realize it but it doesn't change anything other than maybe you're a bit down the rest of the night. Hard to appreciate the moment of something with that kind of foresight. Or you try to speak up. This is your last 4am weekend for a couple months because your work schedule shifted. No big deal, it's just a couple months and you'll be back right at it. Nope, Steve got a girlfriend and isn't free on the weekend now. When he's free, Tom has to work. Plus the game is old now, there's not as many players. Joe went on to the new game but it's on PS5. Plus your work pays more overtime for this shift, might as well just stick to it... Oh it's graduation time. Now it's time for a full time job. You have no idea what that means at first. Yeah you still have the weekends off. But then you put it on a calendar. Oh.... I won't have time for the gym / grocery shopping or house maintenance during the week anymore. So that goes on the weekend. Oh these guys have weekend work. They're only free during the super packed week for me. You know you only have a couple months left. What do you do? Bring it up to them. Explain it just like I wrote. Nope, you get dismissed and called names. It's not going to be like that. Wrong. There's nothing you can say to really get them to see it. You just made the night end early if anything by being draining and awkward. But maybe you have a girlfriend, and girls like that kind of thought right. So similar situation but you're at a lake. This is the last time you'll see her because she's graduating and moving across the country. But you'll still long distance date right. Plus you'll move out there as soon as you graduate... You look at your timeline. You've known each other for 2 years. You have 2 years to graduate. By the time you graduate you'll have lived half your college time without her. Oh and that state is awful for your job. Plus you have no friends there. And it just looks like a bad state. You look at every possible way to make it work and it's just not going to work. And then you see the house prices. Five million dollars for a starter home. Your career's max salary is 60k and that's for the few elites at the top. Every way you spin it it's just not going to remotely work. So you tell her this is the last time you'll probably ever get to have a night like this. She laughs and just doesn't get it. Of course you're always going to be together. How could you possibly not be together forever? You remember she was the first girl you talked to at the first party you went to. She's going to have no problem immediately finding a new partner at the first socializing she does. There's just nothing you can say that doesn't end in drama, ruin the night, and cause the relationship to end even paradoxically. But you have double foresight as the time traveler and you've seen this coming so you just stay silent but with past knowledge you even do it in a way to conceal your emotions. Still doesn't matter. You enjoy the moment and make the most of it but it goes largely unappreciated as a grand event since it was so random, and is kind of blown off as another regular night.
Man. I've been alive 21 years now. And in all of these years, nothing can quite stir my heart like the halo soundtracks. Memories of playing halo first with my father, then with my brother, then the many good friends I gained as a kid. While those days are behind me, I'm so glad they happened. Thanks for putting this mix together Mr. Space man. If anyone reads this, maybe we can all share these common feelings if nothing else. Godspeed.
It's truly amazing how music has the power to transport us through time to those moments that we can truly cherish now; Feelings, that we never thought we could experience again, arise to the surface and we remember, once more, what really mattered/matters in our lives.
Alegeo, my sentiments exactly brother!! Being in the military for 8 years this music definitely brings Joy, sorrow and a sense of calm every time I hear it. Glad to have shared this little moment of HALO memories with you!! Godspeed!!!
Tonight marks the end of the Xbox 360 market and the 360 as a whole. It was without a doubt the best gaming console of its generation. Let this music remind us of the memory's we had with it.
Luckily for me I've got all the games I could ever want on my 360. Most in physical form as well The xbox 360 has given me way too many fond memories for me to abandon. To me it will live on forever, even as it's abandoned and the marketplace closed
Halo 3 Split screen was my first ever Halo experience. I was 10 and my dad brought home an Xbox 360 he’d won from work and a copy of ODST and Halo 3. 2 of my brothers and I would grab chairs or push the couch up close to the TV and get our dad to play with us nearly every weekend/ holiday break from school. It evolved into Firefight tourneys to see who’d survive the longest, free for alls with low gravity physics, infinite ammo and SPNKRS, then we moved to Reach, Halo 4 and various golden age COD games. It happened for a while until I turned about 17/18… moved out shortly after and haven’t had the same experience since. My dad passed away almost 2 years ago now, all my brothers are in different states but we all still keep in touch. Halo is still my all time favorite, but definitely can’t compare to the kind of fun we had when we were kids. Man I miss it, but still so happy I was lucky enough to live it. Love this franchise and the memories I’ve had from it. Definitely love this compilation too, putting it on to study or just chill is always awesome, best video game music of all time IMO
I would honestly agree, they treated the music as if they were creating true beautiful art and they did, its actually very impressive to me that a game developer can manage to put together soundtracks as good so effortlessly
"Heavy Price Paid" still hits me like a sack of bricks to this day. The name alone conjures tragic imagery. Really makes you think about the loss of life that happens in Halo all due to false piety and hunger for power.
When I come here, I can't stay long. The nostalgia is too much. I like to think there's others like me out there that miss and cherish those Halo days.....back when things were a little less crazy out there. God bless yall.
Rest in peace dad. Thank you for playing all these games with me when they came out and being the most amazing man and my own Master Chief at home I would have followed you anywhere. 🍻
It's sad to remember that there was a day many years ago that was my last day playing halo. The fight I'm in now is very different, but the one I've finished will never be forgotten.
My fellow Spartans, take this time to relax your mind and spirit. Think back to the time when we all first came together back in 2001. Hundreds of us lined up outside of GameStop to purchase the first Halo. That marked the beginning of our adventure. We’ve faced countless obstacles and challenges and yet we’re still here fighting. Everyone spartan is fighting a battle that you don’t see. I’m here to tell you that you’re not alone. It’s not a battle you need to face alone. Sometimes in battle, the Covenant had us pinned down and we felt stressed. In those times, we had to call in reinforcements. Those that came to your aid didn’t respond because you told them to, but because as Spartans, we lean on each other. Your battle is not something you need to face alone, you have your brothers beside you. You are strong, you are brave, and most importantly, you are worth it! It’s okay to not be okay. Life is crazy in the times we live in right now. We’ve been hit hard with many obstacles. Our first encounter with the Flood was terrifying. But we didn’t tremble in fear; we stood together and stayed sharp and came out alive. You didn’t give up then, don’t give up now! Together, we will…FINISH THIS FIGHT! ❤
6:25 RIP Noble Team, you were one of the very Spartans that I played ever since i was eleven. Even if you were fictional, even when you had flaws, you guys were my brother and sister in arms that I never had. Its been an honor to fight with you guys
i cant help but start crying at 12:05. I used to watch my brother play Halo when we were younger, to me he was everything. I idolized him and the halo games as those were his favorite. I'm reminded of times when i'd beg that he'd steal a ghost and ride around since I loved them, or use the energy blades instead of the guns as I thought he looked badass. As time grew and he went to college, he never came back the same. I don't watch him play any games anymore, much less try to start conversations. but hearing those old times make me miss him. Anyway thanks for reading
It's alright, little siblings have been watching their older brothers change harshly for billions of years. Perhaps it's better that they come back... different, than for them to see you change for the worst. Nothing may take this unique pain from you, but at least for the first time in Infinity there was that time shared between you two.
damn bro… almost the exact same for me, i miss how my brother was and i miss the days i was watching him playing halo… now he became crazy i haven’t seen him in years, he’s dealing with psychiatric issues and don’t want to be healed… i will never see the person i loved so much again i miss these days sometimes
All great games have amazing soundtracks. The Witcher 3, Skyrim, halo. But whenever i listen to this it just make me feel different inside. It makes me want to go play through the games again. Halo was my childhood and it will never be forgotten.
No matter what part of Halo you like or dislike, we are all Halo fans. May those who have passed on rest easy, and to those of us who are still here, let's continue to make new memories and look back fondly on the old ones. Much love from a life-long Halo fan ❤
This game, halo had brought me and my little brother together like no other before even though I was not the best older brother i wish that he never died. I still roam in the halo games playing through them finishing the fight, but without him I miss you lil bro may you rest in peace 🕊️
Carter: I've got the mass. You're on your own Noble. Carter out. My favorite line from Halo: Reach. Carter has always been one of my favorite spartans.
I remember watching my dad play the games as a kid. I just finished playing through the original trilogy again recently. So many memories. I hear this music and am brought back to my childhood. There are a lot of action packed moments in the series. But moments with this music truly made the game feel special. It showed just the gravity of the war and the toll it took on everyone. The Halo games will always remain some of my favorite games of all time. I will always love them.
Dunno if the uploader is still active but whatever. Halo meant something. Halo was something. Halo had meaning. Halo had personality. Halo made memories, as it is one itself. Halo is more than just a sci-fi shooter. Halo means something for all its fans. My interest in history, military tactics, military campaigns, warfare, sociology, religion and psychology all came from this series. It has shaped my life, as it has shaped other’s. Halo meant something.
Halo still means something. Whatever that has happened over the past 10 years doesn't negate what Halo did. Even if some want to turn it into something lesser.
Mom passed aways 2 weeks ago, my situationship i fell in love left me in that same week, so .. i am coming here just to cry my eyes out and remember how easy and simple times were back then with the boys... and mom still being here with me.
The best and the worst about Halo soundtrack is, that Marty O'Donnell and his team put so much on them, it makes them alive, and when the soundtrack meet in the middle of our memories, it make us return to days we once thought they were lost forever. That Humanity, that feeling of world alive, is what lacks new soundtracks, so full of mind and machines but hasn't realized yet their purpose. That's why Halo hasn't wake up yet, because is Just a Monument to All Our Sins, from players, to businessmen, from developers to writers but mostly, from consumers for let do what they do to what we loved, a mere hillside that remains burned. At least, Halo ennobled all of us, and we can't forget that!
A friend of mine introduced me and my brother to Halo via Halo 3 and 4 on his Xbox 360. After that, I became a gamer and big time Halo fan. My brother and I later got an Original Xbox and played through Halo CE; and after that, I bought an Xbox One and purchased the Master Chief Collection. Thank you, Daniel, love you, mate 🫡
For all my life I've been told to keep pushing even when things get hard. But for the first time when exodus played, I cried. I remember all the good times on the 360 playing with friends on reach. When life was so simple. What halo has and no other franchise has, Is the feeling. What feeling? The ability to just listen to the soundtrack and be brought back to when it was all so perfect. I was only 4 when my uncle (god bless his soul) died. We had a strong bond and around then reach was released. A year later I played it and it was the very first game I cried to. Since then I have had a bond with the franchise, I would leave and return consistently and no matter what, the music, the community, or the games. They were always there for me when times got hard. I've been numb to emotions ever since my toxic stepfather stepped into my life. But tonight, i cried and broke free of my emptiness. Thank you,
I know this may not mean much to you, but I have come back to my emotions too recently. Disspelling my own numbness. It has been an...exhilerating experience. I hope you have a wonderful day. Take care.
Love and respect to my boys Scoopers, Ascendance, and DaveLovesDrugs. Been years but playing Halo with you guys were some of the best memories of my childhood. -Oatmans
Halo and Star Wars have such memorable sound tracks nothing can compete. Others are good but nothing is as beautiful as those sound tracks. Halo has the most beautiful themes in gaming history. Every theme is masterfully crafted and conveys so much emotion and wonder.
I heard this and I feel lonely but at the same time ready to give it all. I always love Halo 2 and Reach ost’s, specially Halo 2, it makes you feel strong even in the worst odds
ah, the glory days when of middle school when I'd hop over to my friend's house and we'd spend hours playing Halo 4, and later on 2 and 3. how he always carried me in co-op, and likewise beat me in multiplayer. ALMOST. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. now he's selling his house, and i might be moving too ... nostalgia, man. it has a way of kicking you in the balls like nothing else.
Halo 4 is that old...huh...I was 11 when that game dropped 11 years ago. Crazy! I actually remember little me playing Combat Evolved a long time ago, and being terrified of the library. I hated that there were no marines or covenant, just you and the flood
Feels crazy to see you youngsters talk about Halo Reach and 4 the way we old heads talk about the original trilogy. I was a teenager when CE dropped, didn't bother playing it until I was 18. I was an adult in the Army when Halo 3 dropped, had to wait a while before I could play it and thankfully people spared me spoilers, they understood I needed to have that experience.
@@rjcorreia3788 Sorry about that but I didn't put the ads on it, whoever copyrighted it did. I recommend downloading this video on one of those RUclips to mp3 websites (you know the ones) to listen to it ad free you know? Next time I just have to avoid all 343 tracks entirely to prevent getting claimed lol
Whilst I get goosebumps from nostalgia I realise halo 2 had such a good soundtrack that fitted with the struggle of humanity, the elites fighting back in a covenant civil war and joining with the humans fighting a common enemy. Then halo 3s showed the final stand and vigor. Damn they were my faves
I have no clue if the uploader is still active but i just want to share this will all of you halo has been a massive part of my life in my younger days i never had xbox live so i had no one to play with so i would play halo by myself and get so amazed by the games amazing features and characters and then i got xbox live and i met a whole bunch of amazing Spartans who i would play countless hours with and now i dont know where they are but just know that you guys made my childhood a lot better when i was struggling thank you all so much for being yourselves and being a part of this amazing franchise with me ill never forget any of you and to those who aren't with is anymore you are never forgotten for all of us will who are still here will never forget you god rest you amazing Spartans and god bless all of you here today
I've always enjoyed listening to halo music from the action pack sequences to the somber moments. It can be hard to listen sometimes because I think of my older brother. We played Halo CE together back in late 2002 all the way up to Halo 5, though he never got to play Halo Infinite with me because he passed away to covid on Oct 28,2021. He was a fan of Halo:Reach and we had many memories playing. I miss him a lot and wish we could finished playing every halo in chronological order. Sorry for typing. As I listen to the music, I just wanted to say my peace. Whether the Halo Franchise continues or disappears as time moves on, Halo will remain in our hearts with good memories and good times. Thank you for the video, hope everyone's day is well.
Damn it, this brings back so many bittersweet memories. Of close matches, stupid fun, total flops, late nights all shared with your buddies. Nothing better to do than spend it with your friends, right? God, I miss them. It's been so long, and I don't think I ever said goodbye to all of them. We just stopped playing, stopped talking, everything. It hurts. Do they remember me? Do they feel this same regret I do? Are they even alive? On the off chance any of my old Xbox crew see this, I, SuicidaL Co0kiE send my regards.
Idk why your gt seems vaguely familiar.. Used to go by the name Death Ghost 334. Probably just a coincidence but figured it was worth a shot to see if you were one of my old buds. Miss those guys so much.
@@TheRealKjareFox I can't say I know your gt, but there's a chance we played together. Used to get dragged into huge parties of stranger by one of my friends and play dozens of custom games and we'd just play NASCAR, Fat Kid, and tons of other game modes for *hours*
"I added a bit of reverb to the tracks to give it a more "Heavenly" feel" I have been looking for a small twist for these type of halo music and sir you nailed it. Looks straight out of a movie, great job!
Halo holds a very special place in my heart, so many friends made and lost since my days in the unsc. Hearing these songs again makes me thankful for the ones who are still with me and for those who aren’t here anymore. I don’t think I will ever forget the love I have for these games. Unto new mysteries and joy. Six out
honestly, I was listening to this while wondering around the EDZ in Destiny 2 the other day. when you're not fighting, it really fits certain environments and story points. For example, Never Forget always makes me think of the Red War storyline. It's interesting how Bungie never fully moved on from this aesthetic.
Thank you for uploading this, somehow it's comforting in this time for me as I'm going through my first relationship, it lasted 3 years. Felt like I lost my own Cortana. Feeling so lost but also trying to rebuild myself, I wish everyone well. Have a good day my fellow Spartan and Elite brethren , take care and may better days arrive sooner than later
Hang in there brother.. If you wouldn't mind keeping us updated that would be awesome. Hoping to hear good news soon. Your partner is out there, trust me. Just need to give it time and patience. We are all here if you need to talk.
Hey Fellow Spartans and Elites, Seems to be 4 months after I made that comment. I'd like to thank the few who replied with their kind words. Presently I've... We've managed to find each other again and reconvene after a month of taking some distance. A lot of hard work, learning and unlearning to do from both parties as we're both human and very much imperfect and keeping level-headed communication as it's imperative for any relationship and it takes two to tango, I'm excited to be back with her again and give things a proper chance under a different lens, and hopefully be able to grow old alongside her for the long run. I hope some other people are able to come across this, as I'd like to remind them whether you're going through a rough time by yourself or missing someone... or both, 'tis but a step in a long great journey and this too shall pass, whether you reconcile with that someone you haven't seen in a while, find solace in yourself or in someone new.. or again both, there's always something to look forward to, just takes patience and hella hard work, as good things in life tend to be wrapped with challenges. If it isn't scary... it isn't worth it... and it's all but a leap of faith into the unknown ( paraphrasing a quote form Marty). I guess to close it for now imma end it on borrowing one more relevant and recent quote from the Infinite Campaign Ending: "But this isn't an end, it's a chance to make amends. To rectify mistakes, and it starts here" this is true, no matter how you look at it. Thank you for reading and if I need to write here again, may it be with good tidings instead of bad. I hope everyone is doing well, and if you're not, I hope you feel well soon as you're not alone, as a lot of people even in this comment section have reminded me. - SteezyFenrir out
I remember when I was really young I got to play Halo CE on my dads Xbox when I was in first grade. I didn’t really know what I was doing back then but I’ve beaten CE on Legendary no deaths recently and I still have my dads old Xbox and whenever I look at it, it brings me back to when I was younger and when things were easier. Thank you Halo for always being in my life :)
at some point while listening to this in the future, i might cry to it. i was introduced when i was 3 months old (my dads fault tho,i watched him while he played) and ever since then, when i got older, i learned how to use an xbox controller, then i learned how to play the levels themselves, and when i was in elementary the game i seemed to be the best at was Halo: Reach, it will always be my favorite halo game ever since bungie left halo, and 343 came in, the newer halo games (4- infinite) it wasn't the same, 2001- 2010 was the best years for halo, halo 2 anniversary was beautiful, but i'm glad i grew up with the originals from 2001 to 2010
crazy coming back to this 2 years later, but i havent been too active with halo, and i honestly wanna be more active, have fun with it again. i have come to play halo infinite and its honestly grown on me and i love the game now. the classic years from the 2010s and below will 100% be halos best years, and halo reach will forever be my number one halo game after hearing about the switch up with 343 becoming halo industries and their engine change, im hoping they get their act together and fix halo as a whole halo will always mean so much to me, this game is my childhood, ive been playing this game since i was really young (and watching my parents play at a young age) now im gonna be 18 next year and ill be graduating in may but halo has never left me, and im pretty thankful that i still have halo i should play it more often
Man…. The new games have nothing on these PERFECF sound tracks. Marty and the team did such a great job in conveying feelings through the music. That man is a wizards with the strings
Playing Halo MCC years later carrying countless memories with friends, exploits, skulls, xbox live, system links ect.. kinda makes me feels like noble six being all alone fighting wave after wave. Just sucks you were there with your mates and you never knew 'that' day would be the last memories you would ever make playing these games together. The bonds, the laughs, the sweaty nights, the cold pizza and soft drinks, the smelly gamer smells of hours dominating your buds on Zanzibar. I especially wish to commemorate my dear childhood best friend who left us too early, one who never even saw Halo 3. We played the sh*t out of Halo CE and Halo 2 though! If there was a skull or exploit (sword/ rocket) we had to know it and perfect it that next weekend over split screen. My personal favourite was when we use to get out of the maps in Delta Halo using the Ghost or Tank and climb up to the top of the mountain tops looking over the Gondola's in the far distance ❤😊 RIP Spartan Elmiko buddy, spartan Status: MIA. See you again one day buddy! Thanks for reading this far stranger. We all have cherished memories some deeper than others ❤️🔥
Taking a page from some folks, paying respects to my dad, gamertag Vetinari the1st. He passed away in 2017. He was always near the bottom of the scores, but he loved the game and never seemed to care if he was winning or losing, so long as we were playing together and having fun. My friends loved playing with him as much as I did.
Everyone has such nostalgic memories of Halo, where as I only recently played through all the games less than 2 years ago, and that was during an extremely dark part of my life, I lost someone who I loved very much, and halo was there as a distraction. Looking back on it, I was playing one of the best games I ever have played, and the series honestly felt like a friend I could rely on for a bit there, playing the games again and just beat Reach, it's relieving to play them again already.
Started playing the original Halo back in high school, when I was 14 years old. Met all of my friends through the game, culminating with Halo 3 in college. We drifted apart over the years, but at least the music will always be here to help me remember them
Reach fell, we know that, but here we are, years later, still surviving. The events of the war against those alien bastards were terrible, traumatizing, and most of all painful, we made it THIS far people. We can keep going. So rally your damn men, we have a species to save. Humanity.
Most underrated halo sad theme is halo 4 the green and blue in my opinion still makes me tear up. From the way it builds up to this moment of sadness and then peaks at the end with a theme that feels like you have no choice but to accept it
When ever i hear any halo music im always brought back to the past of when i first played halo and fell in love with it. I remember play so much halo reach that i burnt my original disk with how much i played it and i was so devastated by it.
We all remember the bombastic action pieces that pushed us forward but I would argue that HALO does as well or even better when the full tragedy of the Human-Covenant war is displayed, leaving a shattered human race, compared to what it was, and leaving the species of the Covenant at each other's throats and only the shadows of a once mighty alliance. The tens of billions dead, the human species as a whole damaged past the surface level. With over twenty billion humans killed and most of them civilians senselessly killed in the pursuit of a lie, I cannot imagine peace will be long lasting, no matter how good relations seem. The somber music here perfectly displays this, the desperation and senselessness of the conflict, and true horrors and tragedy it brought.
Well said.thats why reach is my favourite installment.we know from combat evolved or the novels that reach fell and we got an entire game battling hopelessly fighting a war we know we'll lose plus the sacrifices of noble team to ensure humanity has a chance against the covenant.all the other games are great but reach is my personal favourite
@@daniellawson8182 Reach is absolutely one of the best, if not the best tone wise as the situation on Reach slowly becomes more and more hopeless and the goal goes from winning to surviving
@@basketofsnake104 that we can certainly agree on.Reach is immense and playing as noble team sacrificing all felt a lot more human than playing as fire team osiris taking orders.
@@daniellawson8182 Reach I feel grounds Halo a bit, you've been playing as the Master Chief up to this point (Excluding Halo 3: ODST) and you're pretty much a demi-god in green armor with how strong you are, Reach shows that not all Spartans are lucky enough to be Master Chief, that with each battle won there are ten losses and tens of thousands of dead
You know what's worst? That War only lives on our minds, and as the veterans we are, we remember it each details because we lived that war, but seems 343i and Microsoft think we're stupid enough like other franchise's fans and we're going to buy all their bullshit still not working yet.
Good list, can't believe Green and Blue isn't on here though. If we could have seen through his visor, that was probably the first time he cried. The humanizing of chief in Halo 4 was done brilliantly.
“There were many sacrifices. Humankind was mired in horrific conflict-meaningless bloodshed, leaving the great Earth eternally scarred. But finally, you looked up from the blood and from the dirt and from the dying… to the stars.”
Ever since Halo 4 came out, I’ve used Wreckage to help me go to sleep just about every night. I work with kids and before I leave for the night I make sure to put it on for them. ❤
Its insane how many memories and emotions a single game could bring. Ill never forget beating Halo Reach on legendary after trying for a week with my twin brother. Thanks for all the memories Halo and thanks for all the memories Alex ❤️
Just to say buddy, Thanks for this beautiful compilation.. And especially, for combining all the tracks so effortlessly and magically- it gives such an amazing flow! Cheers!!
It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that the mountain with two peaks on Reach is supposed to be the aftermath of a mountain that was cut in half by a glassing beam
I've been listening to Halo music for over 23 years and I will take it to the grave, literally. I've bought all records on vinyl to be burried with it. But i've yet to chose which music to play at my funeral...

To all the gamers that tragically passed away:
You're only MIA, because you are still with us...always.

“I wish there was a way to know you’re in “the good old days”, before you’ve actually left them.” - Andy Bernard

Same, Brother. There is nothing in this world that I would exchange the memories I made for.

Most in physical form as well
The xbox 360 has given me way too many fond memories for me to abandon. To me it will live on forever, even as it's abandoned and the marketplace closed
The transition from "Say the Words" to "Keep What You Steal" was so insanely smooth
I wake up to Halo themes every morning for like 5 straight years
Damn right
I respect it
Did you say “wake me when you need me”
Halo 3 Split screen was my first ever Halo experience.
Sorry to hear about your dad bud may he RIP salute spartan 🫡

Hoping everyone’s doing well out here we truly all lived through the golden age of gaming

Some of these songs make me feel like I'm being told, "The fight is almost finished."
Some of them were supposed to tell you the fight is finished like Halo 3's Never Forget, or Halo Reach's We Remember.
Remember Reach
Any H3 track gives me shivers. Man they really did a great job. Just a masterpiece overall. The world misses passion for the craft.
I'm curious why the hell "Wake Me When You Need Me" isn't on this list. That shit genuinely brings a tear to my eye every time.
Rest in peace sweet Halo, you gave us unforgettable memories.
Thank you,
We cry together, brother. Here's to simpler times, and happier ones to come.
I know this may not mean much to you, but I have come back to my emotions too recently. Disspelling my own numbness. It has been an...exhilerating experience. I hope you have a wonderful day. Take care.
There’s a reason I stopped playing halo, every time I get on it and I hear this music on the main menu it just brings back memories and it’s too much

- SteezyFenrir out

ever since bungie left halo, and 343 came in, the newer halo games (4- infinite) it wasn't the same,
2001- 2010 was the best years for halo, halo 2 anniversary was beautiful, but i'm glad i grew up with the originals from 2001 to 2010
I feel you on that whole level brother 🫡
crazy coming back to this 2 years later, but i havent been too active with halo, and i honestly wanna be more active, have fun with it again. i have come to play halo infinite and its honestly grown on me and i love the game now. the classic years from the 2010s and below will 100% be halos best years, and halo reach will forever be my number one halo game
after hearing about the switch up with 343 becoming halo industries and their engine change, im hoping they get their act together and fix halo as a whole
halo will always mean so much to me, this game is my childhood, ive been playing this game since i was really young (and watching my parents play at a young age) now im gonna be 18 next year and ill be graduating in may
but halo has never left me, and im pretty thankful that i still have halo
i should play it more often
Been playing halo for almost 18 years now, this music fits how it feels to be a halo fan at this point in time
Goddamnit, it straight out starts with Never Forget.
This song is too beautiful. Bless you, Marty and Michael.
By this point I realize, I have no idea what's going on in the halo universe
Magic
First, remember Reach...
I am very impressed that the transition between New Alexandria and Legends is so smooth that I don't realize that these are different tracks.
If only 343 had an ounce of ensemble studios love or dedication.
Started playing the original Halo back in high school, when I was 14 years old. Met all of my friends through the game, culminating with Halo 3 in college.
We drifted apart over the years, but at least the music will always be here to help me remember them
dude great list, it's the first one i watch that really uses the not famous tunes of halo
Beating halo 2 on legendary first night at a stay over with that warm summer breeze meeting west coast online kids . And expanding into halo memories
Reach fell, we know that, but here we are, years later, still surviving. The events of the war against those alien bastards were terrible, traumatizing, and most of all painful, we made it THIS far people. We can keep going. So rally your damn men, we have a species to save. Humanity.
These games were made atleast twice as good by the soundtracks Holy shit the music is just stunning
Wow all these tracks have such smooth transitions between each other. Seems very seamless. Thank you for this!
Most underrated halo sad theme is halo 4 the green and blue in my opinion still makes me tear up. From the way it builds up to this moment of sadness and then peaks at the end with a theme that feels like you have no choice but to accept it
myself and "deagle74"used to tear up some h3 on the weekends. miss you ruben, think of you all the time brother.
O'donnell has such a talent for producing tear-jerkers
19:54 my fav
Same bro same…
today is a sad day for halo forever.
Hope it’s not the end 🥲

And here we can see the Halo devs making the most amazing soundtracks for Halo that nobody pays attention to.
35,37 Noble Team, You are rememered.
The past is cruel, the future crueler. But memory, is beautiful
1:16 I thought we entered pandora for a second
