If this happens to you after you connected your PS4 remote to your Andriod or iPhone device do/make sure of the following: 1st try using a different charger (after connecting to a new device your PS4 remote doesn’t recognize the charger sometimes) and/or Disconnect your PS4 remote from all devices you used it for (iPad, Tablet, Android phones, iPhones, Computers, etc.) this is most likely the cause of the problem opposed to the 1st solution. Get this liked up so others can see it and know what to do. Btw i said PS4 remote instead of DualShock 4 so you wont get confused

Hopefully this helps: Download remote play (IN THE PLAYSTORE OR THE APPLE STORE. IF YOU HAVE ANDROID OR APPLE) to control your playstation on your phone, then go to settings then go to devices then bluetooth devices and once your there, use your controller to get into pairing mode. To do so you press share and then the ps4 home button then hold. Back to bluetooth devices and FORGET about ALL of the controllers that are listed then try to reconnect to your playstation and using the controller. Hope this helped! (This is off my personal experience and worked if this doesnt work for you. I apologize. You may have to find another solution..)

If this doesn't work for you (and you have another working remote) try this: Go to settings - devices - bluetooth devices. If your controller has been connected before select that controller in the device list and select the forget this device option. Then, press and hold down on the ps button and the share button on your remote at the same time. Hopefully your controller should then connect! Thanks to the person deep in the replies who said this first! It worked perfectly for me, so I wanted to share for others who wouldn't see it :)

Aye y’all ion know why this shi buggin but the fix is to get a wired controller and connect that shi. Mine did the same after playing on my phone. Connect the wired controller and then connect to your other controllers through bluetooth(add a device) on the PlayStation. They’re like 20$ on Amazon Nd some of y’all prolly don’t have that but for the ones that do this is what I did. Don’t know why this shi fucked up or nun but 🦋 you’re welcome

I looked up every solution out there and nothing worked. With some more thinking on my own, I realized the last time I used my controller, it was used on my boyfriend's PS4. So I asked him to look in his settings and he deleted the connection and now my controller is working with my PS4. To be safe, I reset my controller first, plugged it in with a USB, and then it thankfully connected to my PS4 after a moment. This is just incase someone watched this video, along with so many more like I did, and no advice or solutions helped. Hopefully if none of this very helpful man's tips (as well as other helpful people) don't work, hopefully this solution works.

You just need to:1.Forget the controller 2.press share and ps button at the same time 3.open Bluetooth devices and waalla
