Can Not Connect NEW PS4 Controller? here's how to fix that

- In this video I've explained how to connect your ps4 controller a different way. a lot of what I see on here is how to do it with the reset button and hoe to do it by connecting the controller by the cord and turn the ps4 on and off to get it to work. sometimes that is not an option so here is how I get my controllers connected when that doesn't work. I know most people will say "well we already know that were not dumb" well this is for the people who don't already know this works. thanks for watching!

Guys to fix everything unplug your ps4 and plug it back in then turn it on with your controller and there you go it works again
Awesome brother! You're officially the only guy on here who posted a real solution that works! I needed to do this after syncing 2 of my PS4 controllers with my new PS5. After almost an hour of trying the same 3 methods yours was the only one that worked! Cheers!

This definitely works! Tip use a keyboard if your old controller doesn’t work in order to get to devices
Thank you it actually worked,,, but you should also mention that if you have too many Bluetooth devices on the ps4 they need to be delete first as I did exactly that.. when I followed your step with all my Bluetooth clutter it did not work until I delete or “forget device” and only then it detected the controller.

So had to go buy a new controller and I'm so glad that I found your video. I bought another controller a few years ago and could never get it to pair. Well the new one today wouldn't either. I found your video and was able to pair not only the one I got today but also the one that I previously got and could never pair. Now we have 5 working controllers for to ps4.

Great video, took me a little while but it finally worked, the second controller showed up, but it didn't the second time and it did the 3rd time and finally worked 👍

Just bought a controller and had this problem thanks to you is working!!!!
If you don't have an old PS4 controller or it's broken so you can't navigate to the bluetooth devices in the PS4 settings you can also try this:
1. Turn on your PS4 with the manual on/off switch on the front of the PS4.
2. Now turn off your PS4 by holding the manual on/off switch until you hear 2 beeps.
3. After the PS4 has fully shut down, unplug the main power cord at the back of the PS4 and leave it out for about 15 seconds, then plug it back in.
4. Now plug your new controller into the USB cable and PS4, then turn the PS4 back on with the manual on/off switch.
Your new controller should now connect to the PS4 when you turn on the controller with the P button.

What if you only have one controller with the same problems? I need help with that

Can’t get to the setting the old one turns on but does not move anywhere to go to settings. Finally unsinked the old one and the new one won’t sink. Yes tried everything you did. The new one flashes like it will link up but dont

BTW at first I couldn't find a secondary device on my but I kept pressing at the 2 buttons then eventually it popped up.

Go two devices in settings and go to Bluetooth then press PS button and the share button. If you don’t see it, go back and then go back in and again and then you see another Ps4 then click it
i cant select anything if no controller is connected to the ps4 so how am i supposed to configure a second ps4 controller if no controller wants to connect to it?

Just hold the middle button and share button at the same time cause I use my other controller to go to the Bluetooth setting and it pop up
