"Omega Weapon was The Ultimate Weapon"
Well, I would imagine Ultima Weapon would feel shitty about that.
If you read some of Omega's history, apparently it created the Weapons series bosses. How the hell that works is beyond me.

Yeah, this is going to need an update, given Omega's whole storyline in XIV.
"The Roiling skies let loose a vile beast without a soul; Omega was its name. The dragon Shinryu came upon its heels. Not e'en the legendary weapons twelve were able to subdue these evil beasts. Inside the Rift the demons were interred; so should they stay until forever's end, their names to stay unspoken evermore."
Omega Weapon in FFVIA is an absolute monster, far more than any other incarnation of him that I've faced. He has one of the most brutal AI scripts and attack sets in the game, including using Grand Delta over Ultima simply for the fact that it can't be absorbed with Runic! The only way to handle him is to either be monstrously high leveled (80-99 in a game where you can get by with being in the mid-to-low-30s for the endgame) or to abuse the Quick spell.
Omega now shows up in the FF Explorers post-game in his FF5 form alongside Gilgamesh.

Omega has been confirmed for FFXIV. He's in the trailer for the 3.5 patch next week, The Far Edge of Fate, and is supposed to be the 8-man raid boss in the 4.0 expansion, Stormblood.

Though Omega in FF14 will probably take its FFV appearance, I really enjoy the centurian-beast models much more.
Welp, gonna have to update this again, because he did show up in FFXIV. And has a surprisingly large role for his story thread.
I really like him in FF12, he is literally a mimic queen (something you fight near the very beginning of the game), but he had no limiter placed on him. so he grew and grew. Even in this version, he was designed to take out a lightning dragon... Shinryu? maybe the gold dragon (since the 8 dragon kings were a thing again in 12)? Maybe they are one and the same in ff12?

Even though omega weapon pales in comparison to the monster arena monsters in Final fantasy 10, He is WAY stronger then Yevon and sin. After you see the optional bosses of that game, the story bosses are like ants compared to the optional bosses. Seriously a big blob of water is stronger then the the giant whale of death and the demon tick.
(Ok the last one makes sense since a tick is literally a bug but still you know what I mean)

He also made an appearance as a boss in Final Fantasy Explorers in his FFV form.

y'know after hearing what Omega does in his FFVII incarnation (well Durge of Cerberus incarnation) I've realised something.... Hojo's an ass.
+Rachel Swank (RCpersonaXIV) We've known this since the Original FFVII came out. At least most of us. I mean, come on. He took Lucrecia's child away from her after he was born and implanted the Jenova cells inside of the child AND himself. He even shot and experimented on Vincent.

Oblivion Gaming yes. ff14 released a shinryu vs omega scene.
There was also Omega Mk-II in FF5 Advance, I believe, but I doubt reskins count, do they?

Omega in XV Royal wasn't included in this list. Then again, this list was published years before then so not really surprising

MrAverageCookie 2 spellblade, rapid fire, dual weird freelancers equipped with coral rings and a genji helm or armor should do it
