- This is the biggest difference in level placement so far, as it usually appears near the end of the game. The level itself isn't all that different, except for the regular box and enemy changes. Instead of the Cortex bonus stage, there's a different version of the previous bonus stage we saw, requiring the use of the invincibility code.
Of course, the blue gem path is missing as well, and instead there's a new crate bridge that I decided to give the finger. You can't run across crate bridges with three masks in this version, as you'll just fall through. That's why I took damage from that TNT crate, so that I wouldn't have to spin away that poor mask.
Not much else to say about this level except for the fact that it's much easier than Sunset Vista. Игры
If you ask me, the placement of Jaws of Darkness makes much more sense here. I always why there was a random temple in the middle of an industrialized island with Cortex Castle...
The temple was likely there long before Cortex built his castle and power plant there.
Crash is so awesome he can even walk on air!
Man, rewatching these vids reminds me of how much I love the music and sound effects of the original. Idk about you guys, but I’ve always loved the atmosphere the first game provides. It really makes you feel like you’re on a dangerous path or in a situation where it feels like you’re not gonna make it out okay. This is something I feel that was lost with the N. Sane trilogy. Not that I don’t enjoy playing that version (in fact, I’d say that version is far superior in terms of gameplay quality), but I just get the same feeling I have with playing the original.
a POW block? sweet
the music of this level type was a bit scary xD
@nekokitwolf Not asking anyone for permission. You clearly need it in order to get through the bonus stage. I'm not using it on the rest of the level, though.
@CTRPolar he used an invincibility code because there's a giant stretch without any boxes whatsoever. So he wouldn't have been able to cross it without invincibility.
@Uratnik I see... thanks for replying =)
@Axiomatix Yes, thanks for the correction.
@Spikestuff95 He's using the invincability code because you can't finish the bonus stage otherwise.
@Allykattify I mean WITHOUT a mask... or is the same?
What happened at the Bonus Round? You can't fall even without an Aku Aku mask?
question do all the crates respawn after finishing the bonus stage?
how do you get an animated icon?
@GarlandTheGreat love doing that
Did you perhaps mean "requiring" the use of invincibility as opposed to "requesting"?
@matthewlig Just having some fun.
Is a beta version?
wait are you asking us for permission to use an invisibility code or is the game asking that (I don't care if you use the code XD)
0:34 Bandicoot rape.
2:05 pow block wtf
