thanks so much when this game came out I was 7 which means I didn’t play the original so when I tried to get the gem in this level I always got 111 boxes broken I thought it was a glitch and moved on after 5 years now I know there is a hidden box on top of the metal boxes
seriously i beat it and was like why is the crystal counter box (the near the end) in the middle of the level, cause i had 84 or something cause i missed the hidden one and the invisible path that lead to the cortex trial
since its the first game it doesnt really matter though does it you knew i meant the gem which is how you were able to correct me so why does it matter :/
i even got the hidden crate above the metal one.... i still ended with 111/112 lol gotta do the whole thing again and not miss what might've been an obvious one. cause nothing in this video looks like anything I didnt do :o

In every other case, it's found in a future area, so backtracking is required. So the gem in Jaws of Darkness is theoretically obtainable on your first visit.

My problem was at the second neo cortex box i would spin attack the snake straight into the boxes, and i guess it didnt let me to actually get the box contents to open up the other bonus level..
You have to get the blue gem. In order to do so, you have to break all the boxes without dying in towic waste. It is not hard at all, very easy level, probably the easiest colored gem to get.
legiongamerworkBRUH ben There are certain levels that award you with a colour gem if you destroy all the boxes in it without dying. Look up a guide for more details.

You have to conplete the level ‘toxic waste’ without dying AND getting every box in the level, Once you do that you Get the blue gem which unlocks the blue path

they did a similar thing with a brio token in jungle rollers so when I was 1 cortex token short of the portal, I was like "WAIT A MINUTE!"

You have to get the blue gem. In order to do so, you have to break all the boxes without dying in towic waste. It is not hard at all, very easy level, probably the easiest colored gem to get.

Cortex drops it when he flies off at the end of he cortex bonus round. In the video you don't see it but you can hear the music when he picks it up
