Thank god he is as he’s currently having a hell of a game after 2 period in Edmonton. 1 goal and that 1st goal doesn’t happen without his 2 way play

Last year all the talk was about how Florida Panthers looked like Tkachuks team. This year they look like Barkovs team and that's why they will lift the Cup.

So happy Barkov is finally getting his just due. Been one of the best/most complete hockey players in the world for a few years now…nice to see the national media honoring him as such.

The man who put those bums McDavid & Draisatl in witness protection…The Real best player in hockey, best captain in the world. Hopefully he gets healthy enough, this is supposed to be his moment.

Maybe the most complete player but hes not as skilled as McDavid or Draisatl maybe, but takes a team to win the cup not just 2 players im not a Edmonton fan btw

@@yoooei5792 Those 2 great players have combined for 1 point in this series so far, even though they were both lighting it up on former rounds. Think that has anything to do with playing against shutdown guys like Barkov. But you are right Florida is the better team but real hockey fans know why you would rather have Barkov than McDavid in SC finals

@@yoooei5792 I get your point. That being said, the best players are the best players in the biggest moments. At this moment, Barkov is the best player. Don't forget, the goal is to win. Some guys are more skilled than others, yes, but what really matters is how players keep their level of play in the biggest moments.

This video needs more likes. Barkov is an exemplary leader on the ice. He sets an example on how to be a great two-way player. Humble... but hungry to win. The type of player you would happily go to war alongside with any day.

I've always recognized Barkov as the Panthers best player on the team and second best in the world. Second overall draft pick behind MacKinnon btw. Do the refs not realize how much of a star he is? Refs don't protect him like a superstar talent, i.e. Connor. And fans don't notice his status because he passes the puck. It's only the other players who "try to" play against him who realize he's TBE.
