Wow thank you all in the comments for informing us of Chris' passing. RIP Chris Cornell!
You should listen to his cover of Billie Jean and his best tracks with Audioslave and Soundgarden. The most beautiful voice of the last 30 years.
@@Slashovic you think he sings better than Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey?
@@Kickinthescience The best voice and the best singer are two different things. And in both cases it is always subjective. Personally I find her voice so much more beautiful than these two singers.
@@Slashovic I would have to agree 💯! The uniqueness and texture is amazing but I would have to put the late great Chester Bennington in the mix!
If you don’t get chills listening to this you have no pulse!
HIs version of Micheal Jackson's "Billie Jean" is incredible. Audioslave's "Like a Stone" is another great one!!!
YES!!!
AGREE!!! To BOTH!!! He took "Billie Jean" and made it epic, with just his VOICE and his GUITAR..... Chris was truly a gift and I hope everyone can be blessed with the gift of hearing him at least once in their lifetime.....
It's as if MJ covered Chris's song
💯
This!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chris Cornell didn't just sing , he told a story with such emotions and feelings. Every song he sang felt like it was his own
For real you can't go wrong with any of his music whether it's Soundgarden or Audioslave
Dont forget Temple of the Dog
And this is a Beautiful rendition of Sinaed's unlike many covered songs destroy the original. Amazing frontman.
Or his solo work
Such a loss to music when he died. Check out Temple of the dog Hunger Strike its Chris Cornell and Eddy Vedder
They reacted to that already! But I think at the time maybe didn't know it was Eddie Vedder and Chris.
Say Hello To Heaven is a much better song.
"Reach Down" is another great one from Chris, and Temple Of The Dog
hunger strike by chester and Chris
Consider doing "Hunger Strike" again now that you know It's Chris and Eddie Vedder(Pearl Jam).... They are 2 out of the 4 biggest legends of "Grunge/"Alternative rock".... Only one of them is still with us.... Long live Eddie Vedder and RIP Chris, Kurt and Layne...
R.I.P. Chris still hard to believe that your gone.Your missed by everyone in the rock community, and always will be 🔥
"It's been so lonely without you here, like a bird without a song." RIP, Chris. 🥺🖤
Chris sings like an angel, such a sad loss!
Chris's version of this song always gets me misty eyed. Miss him so much. We saw him in concert with Soundgarden the week before his passing. RIP
So did i
Ohhhh, I miss Chris so much. His music is important to me. Hits different when you know you’ll never hear anything else from him, ever. 😞
He got me through some tough times
This made me almost ugly cry 😢✌💗🇬🇧
The golden voice of my generation, that initial response you had when he started singing was the same for so many of us back in the day, “no one sings like you anymore” RIP Chris
This makes me cry. Been a huge fan of Chris since the beginning. His voice is missed so much.
The world suffered a big lost with his passing.
He has an amazing voice. So powerful, true and hypnotic.
Much love and respect for reacting to the legendary Chris Cornell.
Alive in the Superunknown.
Definitely keep reacting to Chris.
Soundgarden
Temple of the Dog
Audioslave
Solo work.
One of the most amazing voices of all time.
Say Hello 2 Heaven is one of the most amazing vocal performances of all time.
💞The voice of an angel, literally💞
I love watching people appreciating good music. It makes me feel like I'm hearing it for the first time.
His voice is imperfectly perfect
If you want to see the real Rock Star side of Chris Cornell do a song called "Cochise". This is when he was in a super group called Audioslave.
What a talent #ChrisCornell
Chris Cornell can do a cover of Kermit the Frog singing the ABCs and it would still sound like rich luscious chocolate. His voice, this arrangement and just sheer talent. Oh Chris, why did you leave us so soon? Rest In Peace with the angels.
So beautiful
He had the voice of a thousand angels... May he forever rest in peace.
I love the fact you don't stop it.
Everytime I hear him sing this it hits me in the gut. Chris is one of a kind. You can hear all his soul and pain in his voice when he sings . Sucks we will never hear that voice again.
There will never be another Chris Cornell, RIP. The world is a little darker without him in it. Saw him in 2015 on the acoustic tour, it was pure magic. Been listening to his music for 30+ years, and his voice never loses its haunting power. If he had decided to do country music he would have been the GOAT country singer.
Try say hello to Heaven by Temple of the Dog! By far his best vocals! And very emotional song. Album/lyrics version
Agree!! So great.
Agreed. Favorite song of his
Four walled world has better vocals
that whole album was amazing especially for the backstory of the album
YES! Agreed! Say Hello To Heaven
As much as I love Chris's cover, the song really speaks to Prince's songwriting ability and how he sets the stage for the performer to find their own path to the same destination. Great video you two!
Love his voice! Check out Audioslave: Cochise. (Chris Cornell)
Kick ass song!
I hope they listen!!🤞🏼
Great song and gasoline and Soundgarden slaves and bulldozers
“Fell on Black Days”. Please don’t sleep on this one.
Yes!
Definitely
definitely do. one of his worst songs.
LOVE your reaction! Man had such soul in his voice. Truly a misfortune for those who never experienced it.
Yes cochise is an awesome song really shows his range
Check out Slaves and Bulldozers. Chris was on another planet when he sang that song
Please do "Patience" by this incredible man he is missed everyday how we could use his voice today....R.I.P Chris!!!
Chris was, probably, the greatest singer of the "big four" from the new era of American music from the early 90's. Sadly, we have lost three of that four - and they are all still so sorely missed. RIP Chris, Layne and Kurt. And, for God's sake, stay safe Eddie.
I agree. While there were other great frontmen in his Era, Eddie, Scott, Layne. Chris' voice had that little something extra, it cut a little deeper, hit a little harder, it's hard to explain. I was lucky enough to get to see him perform live 3 times, and I still get a little emotional when I hear him on the radio.
I think we lost Kurt in 94, Bradley Noel in 95, Shannon Moon in 96, Layne in 02, Scott Weiland in 2015, but of all of them, losing Chris and then Chester 2 months after that hit me the hardest. Their music got me through when I was struggling and at my lowest point dealing with my own mental health issues in the early 2000's.
You forgot Scott Weiland.
Beautiful Reaction 2 A Beautiful Song - Chris was an amazing musician, singer and person. May He Rest In Peace 💜🎶💜 - Loving the matching M&K shirts to BTW 👍🏻
miss you Chris RIP
Song written by Prince and performed by Chris Cornell. This is by far a musical masterpiece.
The world lost a precious voice. RIP Chris
Audioslave - Cochise
More Chris Cornell greatness
R.I.P. Chris Cornell 🙏💕🌹🌼
Hands down best vocalist of our time. You'll thoroughly enjoy this rabbit hole!
"PURE TALENT "........ A VOCALIST LIKE THIS COMES AROUND ONCE IN A LIFETIME!
Thank y’all so much for doing this song. Chris Cornell’s music got me through some dark times in my life. The day he died I felt like I lost a family member. Thankfully, he lives on through his music. Love watching y’all’s videos!
Also "OUTSHINED"
it was right after Prince died that he sang this for him. This was directly for Prince. Chris is one of the best, if not THE best, rock vocalist ever.
agreed. chris sang with his whole soul,; so incredibly beautiful.
Sadly, Prince died on April 21, 2016...
This was posted on SiriusXM on Sept. 22, 2015. But this song still directly portrays how I feel about losing both of them.
@@bloodybutunbowed291 dang... i don't know how i missed that. but i agree with you.
Hello from Cody Wyoming! You guys are awesome keep it up🤠
That initial reaction by both of you when Chris starts to sing....priceless.
The energy of this world changed when he left. He was a pure musician, he could bare his soul to the world in such a wonderful way, a talent that wore his soul ragged I with time I think... The power and delicateness of his performances are drenched in truth and real passion.
What a loss when Chris passed. His voice is very soul touching and I LOVE this song. Thank you for reacting to this one!
RIP Chris!..... truly a voice that will NEVER be duplicated!
Chris Cornell had an almost four-octave vocal range, and even though he began in the Grunge scene with Soundgarden and his music career mainly covered alt-rock/hard rock, that there is the voice of a blues man.
If you like Chris Cornell's cover of Prince's song, you should hear him do Michael Jackson's song "Billie Jean" ... He sings it like he wrote it and its uniquely done. Love the reaction Chris is one of my favorite singers. You feel his soul and passion when he sings you were right on.
Glad you enjoyed this. RIP to the legend that was Chris Cornell. He was in my opinion one of the Greatest singers of the passed 30 years. Whether it was with Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple Of The Dog of his vast solo career including a James Bond theme song, he was amazing. He had a 4 octave vocal range which is phenomenal. Please check out Shadow On The Sun by Audioslave. Thank you for this reaction.
omg, plz do more Chris Cornell.....RIP.....i love him !!.....please do Like a Stone by Audioslave and Outshined by Soundgarden. He was in both these bands.........Hunger Strike song is also really great and Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam sings this song with him......it's brilliant !!.....Thanks.
Agree Chris Cornell has so many great songs
Still can't believe he's gone 😢 One of the all time great voices in rock.
This song gives me chills Everytime I hear it. Doesn't matter who sings it, it is beautifully written. Cornell's voice is a one of a kind and will stand the test of time.
Love your reaction. I adore Chris and miss him so very much. No one can sing like him. 💙💜

Hi guys! New subscriber here, really dig your energy & genuine enthusiasm for the music... read in the comments about yr appreciation for Chris Cornell (I'm a Seattle native too, lucky enough to have seen Soundgarden live twice); if you haven't already I highly recommend Audioslaves song "Cochise". Thx u 2, keep up the good work!

Chris has such a Powerful voice that will reach deep inside your soul . Sure miss him
I was very fortunate to see him live. Incredible is the only way to explain it
i literally cried when I found out he died. his voice helped me through some depressing teenage years.
It's nice to see people hearing Chris for the first time and being in awe .
Pure talent so much passion this is live no fancy studio recording tricks love this man R.I.P ❤
I miss the best voice in rock n roll. I tear up everytime I hear him. Rest easy brother...
I love seeing peoples reactions to something ive been listening to for 30 some years. sometimes I cant even listen to him anymore because its too heartbreaking knowing someone who took their own life. glad you guys discovered him.
Yes... I feel the same way when I hear Chris sing... Goose bumps.
RIP Chris. A legend.
Everytimeni hear this song i shed some tears. Some for sadness because of his passing, others for happiness because I got to grow up listening to him.
Such a unique sound. The howl of Seattle. Rest In Peace Chris.
Say Hello 2 Heaven
Chris Cornell's range is incomparable.
Hearing him sing this makes me cry his voice is amazing R.I.P
Great reaction vid. RIP Chris, you are greatly missed
The best singer in rock ever , a part of my heart died the day he left us to go to the rock gods above. ❤😭😭😭 . You should listen to him singing LIKE A STONE its an amazing song from him . RIP CHRIS CORNELL 😭😭😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
*I new you'd love it! PLEASE MORE CHRIS! HE DOES AN AMAZING BILLIE JEAN💚*
Huge crush on Chris over here! Miss him RIP🙏💙
I'll always remember Chris Cornell the most for his work on the Temple Of The Dog album RIP Chris
Chris was truly a gift.... Now that you know of his passing, I recommend "Like A Stone", it's Chris with his band Audioslave. It hits different not only knowing of his struggles in life, but more so knowing how it ended..... the song and his voice are so POWERFUL.... yet haunting knowing his fate. He was such a good soul. RIP brother.....
BTW, Chris was basically an Alternative Rock (NOT Country) artist and was also considered part of the "Grunge" scene in the early '90's with his band Soundgarden. FUN FACT: Chris was in 3 bands.... Soundgarden, Audioslave, and Temple Of The Dog(1 album as a Tribute to Andrew Wood). Then he did some solo stuff with these acoustic covers. The story behind the latter 2 bands is interesting....
Rip Chris your will always be one of the greats!!!
Chris is my favorite vocalist of all time and I'm a huge led zeppelin fan but when came out with his band temple of the dog and then soundgarden he's my #1 sorry Robert didn't think anyone would take your spot RIP Chris your missed everyday
I know there are many many greats. But IMHO, that is thee most versatile and greatest rock and roll voice, period.
Listen to him sing Ava Maria live in front of an orchestra. Wow
Love you guy's ❤ RIP Chris Cornell x
Thank you guys so much for this. Such a beautiful moment from one of the best singers to ever live
Do more on Chris Cornell. He is a vocal god
As a long time fan of Chris Cornell it was cool to see your reactions as soon as he started singing, and it was pretty much the same as mine. Even though I've heard his version of this song many times, I already know it's gonna be good, but it's still like 'WOW'.. I imagine if Prince had ever heard Chris' version, he would have been touched by it.
Chris was my ABSOLUTE favorite singer. I was lucky enough to see him in Soundgarden live. This was a hard loss for many. Really check out “Say Hello 2 Heaven” / “Reach Down” when he was in Temple of the dog. “No one sings like you anymore”. I cannot stress enough for to sample all his bands- Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, & Audioslave. He was the soundtrack to my youth.
Cheers!
I listened to this song on repeat when he passed. I had tickets to his Soundgarden concert that was supposed to be 5 days after his passing. I was devastated. This man sang from his soul.
Awesome response...great music transcends across boundaries...
Chris is always on lists of best rock singers ever. He is sooo good live. These will all give you goosebumps. This doesn’t nearly show his vocal range.
Fell on Black Days live @ SiriusXM
When I’m Down live at the Troubadour
Seasons - Studio/Jam version
Billie Jean cover live @ MSN
The whole Songbook album is wonderful. Acoustic versions of some of his best songs. Also a beautiful cover of Led Zeppelin’s Thank You.
My favourite vocalist. I’ll never forget where I was when I heard he had passed. Devastating news. He was utterly amazing.
