I provided section-8 housing for ten years & saw the complete destruction caused by government programs to people’s lives Cradle to grave
entitlements should be replaced by cradle to grave app. & web based role models,
mentoring, webinars, podcasts & inspiration. A child could grow up in the most dangerous part of the U.S. or any country for that matter. However if they are surrounded by positive role models online 24/7? they might not even think about heading down the wrong path in life. What do you think about someone putting something like this together?
      Has anyone thought of this?

Hi Alux my name is Luiza and I was born in my dad's second marriage, my three older siblings are from the first one. When they were born my dad was still in his twenties, in college, and starting his professional life so it is fair to say that money was very tight. Twenty years later I was born and at that time my dad was finally beginning to make his fortune so when I was about 10 his company made it big and we kind of get rich (not millionaire or anything but very wealthy compared to the average Brazilian). For so much time I felt ashamed of the opportunities I had that my brothers and sister didn't have. Even though I never wasted any of those opportunities and even became one of the best students in my school I sometimes still feel ashamed for when I was born but this video really inspired me to be proud of when I was born and stop apologizing from having chances that they didn't have in life, I mean I might as well live them to the fullest.

1- Saying no when you need to
    2- Wanting to be better
    3- Leaving toxic people behind
    4- For your success
5- Not giving a fuck about others drama
6- Spending your hard earned money on things that bring you value
7- Asking for something to be corrected
    8- Asking for help
    9- Telling the truth
    10- Things you can't control
    11- Taking 'me' time
    12- Loving someone
    13- Where you come from
14- Calling someone on their bullshit
    15- Your quirky passions
    16- Swinging for the fences

I`m starting to incorporate a lot of things I`m learning into my everyday life, and am starting to see positive results. Thank you so much. I look forward to every week, and something more to learn. I`ve tried a lot of self-help books, courses, whatever, and Alux is the only one that works for me. Thanks again.

I regret apologizing for standing up for myself, calling out on other people's bullshit (relatives, friends, family, ex's), for being my authentic self, doing the right thing even if other's don't like it, defending myself against bullies of all kinds, fighting injustice, being happy, being successful, being so damn handsome, being sexy, being confident, being free, being an artist, being attracted to the opposite gender and their feminine qualities, being a gentleman, striving for financial success and freedom, being so healthy, having morals, taking calculated risks for things or people that are worth it for the greater good, bringing value to myself and the list goes on.

I regret apologizing for the first three. There are so many crappy people in the world who will rob you of your time if you don’t stand up for yourself.
What sucks is, as much as I want to say it’s their fault, I had to realize that it was mine for being lazy and a coward and for letting myself get pushed around. Since then I’ve been working on myself and doing a whole lot better. Amazing what you can accomplish when you realize you can take control of your own time!

    • @filrabat1965
      @filrabat1965 Год назад

Wrong. Saying you "let" them is just confusing *inability* to stop a bad thing with *consciously and deliberately desiring* the bad thing to occur. That's one of mainstream society's philosophical stupidities: blaming people for matters beyond their control. it shows society has frankly crude understandings of free will and (by extension) personal responsibility. Then again, what do you expect from a culture that's overly fond of expression style and brief sensible-on-the-surface bumper sticker slogans.
