If this were a historical list, we’d have to add “Elemental Hero Neos Alius”. Which is a useless Gemini monster, around which a tier 2 deck in the last Synchro/early XYZ era deck revolved. While it was nothing but a 1900 beater, with a worthless Gemini effect (it made its name OG Neos). Every single other part, gave it accidental synergy, with at the time powerful cards. It was a lvl 4, Elemental Hero, Warrior. Which made it searchable with ROTA, E-Call, and Statos. As a lvl 4 Gemini, it was a a target for Gemini Spark. It was 1900 normal summomable beater. It was a light Hero. Which made it the best material for the Shining and later Koga. As a lvl 4 warrior it was good martial for Warrior XYZ monsters. And, since it was likely banished by miracle fusion or to summon a chaos monster, you could use it with a trap, who’s name I forgot, that pops cards and returns low level banished HEROs to the hand. Every since, I personally, call cards that see play for every thing but their effects, an Alius. What a glorious mess of a card.
Hero Blast! That was one of the funniest combos back in the day. Summon Alius, set Gemini Spark and Hero Blast and pop 2 on the opponent's turn, draw, and recycle Alius. Too funny.
Fun fact: Stratos' effect in the GX Manga was to attack directly for half damage. Also, an old combo I used to do when we first got the omni heroes was to summon Absolute Zero and Shining using Fusion Gate. Summon Zero first and then use it to go into Shining to activate Zero's effect and then attack directly for 3800 damage. It won me a few duels back then.
@@piccolino8114 Actually, Zero's effect activates when it leaves the field. It doesn't matter if it gets banished, as long as it was face-up before it left the field.
Fun fact: The elemental hero in GX manga is the deck of Judai's(Jaden) mentor that he uses to honor his teacher. Then, later in the story, he develops the Masked Heros to make a original deck. And the Vision Hero is used by Edo Phoenix (Aster) instead of the Destiny Hero. So, out of the 6 HERO archetypes we have(ignoring Neo- Spacians) 3 are derived from Jaden's deck(if we consider the Supreme King as being a form of Jaden) and 2 are derived from Aster(only the Xtra Hero is foreign to them)

I’m surprised you didn’t mention Super Poly when talking about Escuridao. Since Dark is the most played attribute, you can easily steal an opponent’s monster in a lot of matchups. Top ten "beginner's trap" monsters? Ones that look really good at a passing glance if you're new to the game, but not really competitively viable in practice, like blue eyes chaos max?
I like this list. Especially on Shadow Mist, as the Dark Law strategy had saved me against a Nekroz deck in a shop tournament in the past, so I could agree with it.
Minutes 0:27 there is a clear difference between "if this card is sent from the field to the graveyard" and "when this card is sent from the field to the graveyard", since the first option does not matter if the effect of another card is resolved when Shining is sent to the graveyard , but the other option is the least loved and it is also its effect, because that second option applies when, for example, it is destroyed in battle or by effect cards such as torrential tribute, the Shining effect does not wait, it must be applied instantly, If you play it with another monster, its effect won't activate either, that's the only negative thing about Shining :(, I don't speak English, but it seemed appropriate to emphasize that detail and that's why I wrote this
I was playing Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Generations on my phone and Elemental HERO Absolute Zero was returned to the Extra Deck and it's effect still activated, it is an old Yu-Gi-Oh game though that's not up to date with modern rules XD
This is a very good list that I agree with. Though, I want to give two honourable mentions which are worth mentioning and are good when played right; Elemental Hero GrandMan: A Level 6 Fusion monster Requires two normal heroes as fusion materials and gains atk and def equal to the combined level of the materials x300 (Max atk/def possible is 4200 with two Elemental Hero Neos) and when it destroys an opponent's monster by battle, you can tribute this card andspecial summon 1 " Elemental Hero" fusion monster from your extra deck, ignoring it's summoning condition, but it cannot attack monsters with an equal or lower level than it. When used right it's pretty effective and has helped me win matches and ranked matches in Dueling Nexus and Duel links. & Elemental Hero Neos Kluger (Currently in OCG only); A Level 9 fusion Monster with 3000 ATK & 2500 DEF with the fusion materials been Elemental Hero Neos and Yubel. Can be brought out with Neos Fusion and Miracle. Has an effect where if it battles an opponent's monster whether it's destroyed or not, you can inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's ATK and has another effect where; if this face-up card is destroyed by battle or leaves the field because of an opponent's card efffect while it's owner controls it, you can special summon 1 "Neos Wiseman" from your hand or deck, ignoring it's summoning conditions. This effect can only to be activate once per turn. It's pretty powerful, has good effects, can secure a win in a turn if played well in a combo and has helped me win duels in Dueling Nexus especially against my friend who uses the annoying Timelords
The most poetic thing I can think of as a video idea is talking about the best Top 10 Best Dragon Monsters, seeing as how Elpy and Striker were put on the banlist recently
A notable strategy for easy revives of Honest Neos is Elemental hero oceans ability, if he’s on the field during your standby and you used Honest Neos’ effect you can keep getting him back if you keep Ocean alive
1-Top 10 ritual monsters/archetypes 2- Top 10 monsters with 2400 ATK excluding monarchs 3- Top 10 cards that use your opponents for summons (tributes , fusions, etc..)
Around #1 for Ritual Archetypes would probably be Impcantations, that archetype adds near absurd consistency and resource generation to Ritual decks - only held back by the fact that it is Ritual Monsters we are talking about here.
I actually build a Elemental Hero deck in Duel Links and won my first time using it because I manage to fusion summon into Vision HERO Trinity and my opponent had no way to response to it so that 5000 ATK due to Trinity's effect basically scared my opponent into surrendering. HERO decks are really powerful when use together and once I get better HERO cards I'm definitely gonna take it to a few tournaments and see if I can win with it and thanks to this list I now have a few cards I'm gonna add to the deck. I already included Stratos and Blazeman because their effect to basically search things out is too good to pass up but my extra deck game need some work since beside Core, Great Tornado, Trinity, and I guess Flame Wingman, it doesn't leave a lot of option to fusion summon into that'll bring me victory. Just glad I had enough material for Trinity since he require any HERO monster and not a specific archetype of HEROs.
There's a similar hero monster like escuridao named masked hero goka, but while it gains 100 for each hero instead of elemental hero, it has 2 flaws. 1) it's masked hero, so you have to use a "change" quick play spell and 2) it's fire, so it hardly be played outside of focused elemental hero decks. And that's why iliquid so good that it get's you to choose which effect to activate each turn, instead of solid where you can use both on the same turn. The 2 reasons i believe that stratos is not limited today are 2: it doesn't activate it's effect when it's flip summoned and it can miss timing. The last thing that heroes need is a good level 4 light elemental hero that has to do with banished monsters.
i was not shocked to see stratos top the list. i was in high school when he was on the ban list, but my group came to something of an agreement with the banlist. basically, we did our own eratas for some cards, and you couldn't actively try to abuse any of the cards. in some cases, the cards were used because with our limited access to cards, not using those cards was just too prohibitive. IE we agreed Stratos could pull a hero or destroy ONE spell or trap, provided i controlled another Hero, and i didn't really have ways to abuse it either. Basically, it was a good level 4 beatstick that either replaced itself in my hand or destroyed a backrow card, and allowed me to reasonably reach for Great Tornado (the only other enabler i had was Avian, which was mostly there for Shining Flare Wingman) about the closest i could get was destroying it then replaying it with something like Call of the Haunted. I remember one of the guys was a fan of the banned dragons. i remember the main Synchro guy was constantly hitting his head on the list, but i don't remember specifics. im fairly sure that was before Ancient Fairy Dragon was banned, but he leaned heavily on the Singer Dragons.
Shadow Mist was the last main deck Elemental HERO card to come from the manga. The misconception of her being on the "new wave" of HERO support to represent the elements is due to not having an effect in the manga and releasing with Blazeman who was the start of that elemental representation that tries to facilitate classic fusion like Liquid and Solid.
Hey, what about making a top of the best non "Chaos" monsters that banish cards from de graveyard to special summon themselves from the hand (and/or from the graveyard if you want)? On quick-thinking i can say "Immortal Phoenix Gearfried", "World Legacy Guardragon Mardark" and "SPYRAL Sleeper" as examples.
If you are wondering what the "escuridao" means, its portuguese for DARKNESS and it has a tilde ( ~ ) above the "A" and its spelled with an closed "A"(like in "ahn!?") and not in the way he spell in the vídeo.
honest neos is not only hero monsters you control but hero monsters on the field its actually important as it enables combo plays like crashing zero to a hero monster controlled by your oponent or crash destiny hero dominance or give your oponent a dark angel and avoid it being destroyed by battle

Top ten "beginner's trap" monsters? Ones that look really good at a passing glance if you're new to the game, but not really competitively viable in practice, like blue eyes chaos max?
I like this list. Especially on Shadow Mist, as the Dark Law strategy had saved me against a Nekroz deck in a shop tournament in the past, so I could agree with it.

there is a clear difference between "if this card is sent from the field to the graveyard" and "when this card is sent from the field to the graveyard", since the first option does not matter if the effect of another card is resolved when Shining is sent to the graveyard , but the other option is the least loved and it is also its effect, because that second option applies when, for example, it is destroyed in battle or by effect cards such as torrential tribute, the Shining effect does not wait, it must be applied instantly, If you play it with another monster, its effect won't activate either, that's the only negative thing about Shining :(, I don't speak English, but it seemed appropriate to emphasize that detail and that's why I wrote this
Am I the only one who would love to see a 7-series TV show about the Heroes?
Ahh, Gladiator Beasts, my favorite archetypes back in the day. Good to hear them in the video!
Years ago, I used a Fusion Gate Shining Beatdown deck that was SO fun.
I was playing Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Generations on my phone and Elemental HERO Absolute Zero was returned to the Extra Deck and it's effect still activated, it is an old Yu-Gi-Oh game though that's not up to date with modern rules XD
Destiny Hero Disk Commander was also banned, so Stratos wasn't the only HERO monster to be banned.
This is a very good list that I agree with. Though, I want to give two honourable mentions which are worth mentioning and are good when played right;
Elemental Hero GrandMan:
A Level 6 Fusion monster Requires two normal heroes as fusion materials and gains atk and def equal to the combined level of the materials x300 (Max atk/def possible is 4200 with two Elemental Hero Neos) and when it destroys an opponent's monster by battle, you can tribute this card andspecial summon 1 " Elemental Hero" fusion monster from your extra deck, ignoring it's summoning condition, but it cannot attack monsters with an equal or lower level than it. When used right it's pretty effective and has helped me win matches and ranked matches in Dueling Nexus and Duel links.
&
Elemental Hero Neos Kluger (Currently in OCG only);
A Level 9 fusion Monster with 3000 ATK & 2500 DEF with the fusion materials been Elemental Hero Neos and Yubel.
Awesome video keep up the amazing work 😁
The most poetic thing I can think of as a video idea is talking about the best Top 10 Best Dragon Monsters, seeing as how Elpy and Striker were put on the banlist recently
Ideas for the next 4 videos: D-heroes, masked heroes, evil heroes and vision heroes
0:8 I'm a pretend i did not see the chimeratech fortress dragon mid transition
kinda sad my boi Blazeman didn't make into the list but Escuridao did, but I understand how these lists work
0:08 So Chimeratech fortress dragon is a hero too now?
Please do Top 10 most used link monsters or Top 10 non-Number XYZ monsters or Top 10 fusion monsters that can only be brought out by fusion summon !
Solid? Liquid?!?!
*Has Metal Gear Flashbacks*
A notable strategy for easy revives of Honest Neos is Elemental hero oceans ability, if he’s on the field during your standby and you used Honest Neos’ effect you can keep getting him back if you keep Ocean alive
I love the new highlight editing effect
1-Top 10 ritual monsters/archetypes
2- Top 10 monsters with 2400 ATK excluding monarchs
3- Top 10 cards that use your opponents for summons (tributes , fusions, etc..)
12:30 Lovely shadow mist 💖
i was not shocked to see stratos top the list. i was in high school when he was on the ban list, but my group came to something of an agreement with the banlist. basically, we did our own eratas for some cards, and you couldn't actively try to abuse any of the cards. in some cases, the cards were used because with our limited access to cards, not using those cards was just too prohibitive.
So that’s what they mean when wiping out cards is a Stratos effect! Thanks so much! I didn’t even know tbh. XD
I always enjoy your viseos, but I was wondering if we could get another "splashable archetypes in 2021" video.
"You know a card is good when they name an effect after it."
LAUGHS IN MILL
Chilling out with the crew in the schoolyard
Finding trouble but never looking too hard
Back in class they never taught us this.
I expected Airman to be #1 .
My suggestion for the next topic is Top 10 Cards That Use/Rely on Your Opponent's Cards
I remember my first E Hero Absolute Zero... I love him so much. It's my favorite hero honestly
Rewatching this, best yt content for me
Another great video my friend ^^
Hey, what about making a top of the best non "Chaos" monsters that banish cards from de graveyard to special summon themselves from the hand (and/or from the graveyard if you want)?
On quick-thinking i can say "Immortal Phoenix Gearfried", "World Legacy Guardragon Mardark" and "SPYRAL Sleeper" as examples.
Block Dragon would probably be around #1.
If you are wondering what the "escuridao" means, its portuguese for DARKNESS and it has a tilde ( ~ ) above the "A" and its spelled with an closed "A"(like in "ahn!?") and not in the way he spell in the vídeo.
I agree with the placement of Escuridao on the lone fact that it was the only way to use SuperPoly on Shi En.
honest neos is not only hero monsters you control but hero monsters on the field its actually important as it enables combo plays like crashing zero to a hero monster controlled by your oponent or crash destiny hero dominance or give your oponent a dark angel and avoid it being destroyed by battle
suggestion: top 10 xyz monsters? (idk ifyou have one already tho.. i couldnt find it)
I hope to see a future top 10 of the best Evil Hero's and the top 10 Vision Hero's and maybe even the top 10 best Neos and Neo Spacian monsters.
a nice list to go over would be cards that have had effects named after them, like the example of stratos and garnets. Not necessarily a top 10, but just more of a history of some of the most influential cards in this regard.
He made that one already actually!
Did you ever do a Top 10 Kuriboh cards list?
Now with all the classic Kuriboh bros and fusions released, it could be a great thing.
top 10 evil hero or destiny hero plzz
Stratos is never gonna get banned again. Konami learned their lesson.
Elemetal hero Escuridao has a interetisg name it's literali mens darkness in portugues(brazilian)
I had a feeling it meant dark or darkness, the word looks similar in spanish
Ahh I always wondered what it meant!
I love to hear about top 10 defense cards (or cards that could have the highest defense). What of you wanted to stall your opponent and want to place a unbreakable wall.
A top 10 list of the best Elemental types monster in Yu-Gi-Oh
Top 10 cards that created a term ( like Stratos effect)
Kazuki Takahashi created many cards and he enjoyed the Elemental Heroes. However, he died a true hero saving those children in a Rip current. RIP Kazuki Takahashi. To me you are the True Elemental Hero Mariner.
