The process! 👇👇
THE SUBSTRATE
Prepping the surface of the countertops is easy. Most surfaces just need to be sanded (80-100 Grit) then wiped clean. Granite and Marble will need the sealer removed. Tile will need the grout lines filled with Bondo and sanded smooth before applying our Countertop Kits.
EPOXY PRIMER COAT
Priming the Countertops is simple and fast. Mix your pre-measured primer then dip and roll the pigmented primer across the surface until the countertop surface is completely covered. Wait 1 hr. (or until tacky and not coming off to the touch) and start applying the Base Coat.
METALLIC EPOXY COAT
There are so many different applications for our metallic epoxy coat. In this video, we show you the dirty pour technique. When you place your order you'll receive step by step tutorial videos that will show you how to apply this part depending on the look you're going for!
HIGH WEAR TOP COAT
We offer 2 different Performance Engineered Top Coats. Glaze Coat is our High Build Top Coat that lays out like glass and adds depth to the Countertop. The Urethane Top Coat comes with the option to have a High Gloss or Matte finish. It needs to be rolled out super thin and leaves a minor texture on the countertop. You apply it within 24 hrs. of installing your Countertop Kit
Leggari Countertop Kits were designed to transform your countertop, tabletop, or desktop into something new and beautiful by coating your existing countertop or pre-built wood countertop. They can be installed in 3 to 5 hrs. including the prep work, and will last for decades. If you can paint your countertops, you’re more than qualified to install a Leggari Countertop Kit. Our Countertop system is leading the resin industry for thickness, durability, and scratch resistance with our High Wear Top Coats.
Our Countertop Epoxy is specifically designed for counters and can be applied to any hard surface. It’s 100% Pure Solids using the finest raw materials that include proprietary additives for working time, thickness, flow, and marbleization that are vital when achieving our Dynamic Effects. Our Countertop Epoxy is also a decorative, durable, and chemically resistant coating, available with a High Gloss or Matte finish.

Let us know what colors you'd like to see for a Leggari Stone Kit! Comment below! 👇😃
Muito bom, infelizmente com o cenário de corona vírus no Brasil, meu sonho de trabalho com epóxy está sendo exterminado.
Ocean colors, white, blue, green like an ocean wave!
Light colors. Not everyone likes black, bronze, orange and browns. White, blue, light green or teal, peaches, pale yellows to brighten smaller spaces. Those counter tops look basic black until you get on top of them. The original version gave a bigger wow factor.
Light base like pearl or white with grey, silver and small veins of black.
Blues, aquas, teals, greens
I have watched probably over a hundered videos on epoxy counters, and this is by far my favorite Thanks
Saludos genio muy bueno tus trabajos. Exelente saludos desde Argentina.
Thank you for the in depth mixing information. I learned the most from this video. (I've been addicted to watching your tutorials) Also thank you for the different pour technique! This is probably my least favorite, but it just shows you how versatile your product is!

Do you have kits for smaller counters? My kitchen is small, only 2x10 counter.
when doing this technique, do you need to use a clear coat to finish it off to protect the finish ?
Mantull,sukses slalu
Terima kasih
Okay, I guess I finally know what colors I want for my countertops. LOVED this one, but I think I would like one with less black, a bit more grey and rust colors. I have seen other videos of how to coat laminate backsplashes, but could you address how to do it with this technique? I can't imagine how you would handle a vertical surface with the cardboard. Thank you.
Please contact our techs at 844-534-4274 ext. 1 and they can assist you.
Hi dobson from England why use urethane over the finish epoxy?.
Still Looks Amazing!!
Hi, take a look at our online brochure. Thanks

Think a large dust pan with handle would work great where you use the cardboard?
That would also work but when we are moving fast we like to use the cardboard because it is wider.
Leggari Products that was good looking job. I like the more subdued look lol less radical lol
💯👌🏼👏🏼
Very interesting i would like to get the opportunity to work with you guys can you send me a start up kits many thanks Dobson

Can i buy material from Mexico?
Can achieve this look much easier and quicker using your hands, not wasting Epoxy that soaks in to the cardboard and avoiding more potential for a mess. I like the out of box but think smarter, Not harder, besides that, great video
Thank you for watching!
What is the square footage of the countertops you are pouring ?
They are about 35 sq. ft. One of our dirty pour kits will do 50 sq. ft.
♥️🔥

They look awesome... Do they scratch easy????
Epoxy in general can scratch that is why we recommend our urethane top coat to make the surface more durable.
@@LeggariProducts is there a way to fix them
what type of alcohol do You guys use instead of torching?
They use denatured alcohol to mist any bubbles.
Hello! This material after drying, supports heat? like putting a hot pan on it?
We never recommend putting hot things directly on the counter and always use hot pads! But can it be done yes for a short period of time!
@@LeggariProducts Thank you for the answer.
I may need price list with descriptions
What is the primer you use in your work?
Leggari WB primer get it at leggari.com today!
How much per galon of each
How do you keep it off the blurb to ape along the wall
Are the counter/ epoxy food safe?
Yes they are, as well as our Urethane Top Coats. Thanks
Would like to see the top coat
We will be launching one soon be on the look out!
Never saw epoxy done without a torch or heat gun
How many layers of epoxy does that countertop have on it now? :)
Maybe two or three previous coats. We first sand them down then applicate the new product.
It's fun making a mess when you're a kid because you know you won't be the one cleaning it up :)
That is so true, thanks for watching the video
Tried reaching your company yesterday to place an order... Then Went to the chat area.. Nothing but a request for my email.. Plz get in touch we really want to purchase your product to do 60sqft of countertops.. Is your product heat resistant?

What’s the work time?
Once you add the hardener to the epoxy you will have 45 minutes to an hour to work with the epoxy.
Do you get a scratch?
We apply our urethane top coat over it because it is four times harder than the epoxy and makes the surface more durable.
I just did this kit and it was a fail. I mixed everything and split the mix exactly as you guys demonstrated in your video and link sent with the kit. Half way through the pour the epoxy heated up to nuclear temps and what was put on the counter globbed up and did not roll off the edge as in the video. So now I have counters that look like the Rocky Mountains because part of it solidified while other parts stayed pliable. Very disappointed. So this was an epic fail.
OMG, it made cringe a little when you went over those BEAUTIFUL counters with the primer!.... what is the working time with your Epoxy?
Once you add the hardener to it and immediately get it out of the bucket you will have 45 minutes to an hour to work with it.
You can't go wrong with being nasty here..
✨Sexy!✨
That's another way to look at it. Thanks for watching
