Cx90 hands down . Grand highlander will be a close competitor

Mazda all day long and we don’t even have to drive the Toyota to make that decision

Ofcourse! Most people would go with Toyota name ,but I would go with Mazda for this segment. because this Mazda is made in Japan plant whereas Highlander made in US plant.

CX-90 bc of the I6 engine, fuel economy, RWD based platform, better availability and better OTD deals.

Grand Highlander for the space everything else to the CX 90 that’s not including the hybrid max. Great comparison Ben!

Finaly someone mention about seats of Mazda suv’s.I drove 2022 cx9 I had a feeling like i seat on my half butt.Today I drove cx 90 pref.plus almost the same feeling slightly better than cx9 seats(front seats) Im 6.4ft seats not that comfortable for me.Over all nice suv!thank for the review.

Any “Japanese” car that’s manufactured in the US automatically loses to the competition that’s actually manufactured in Japan. Although the CX-90 clearly beats the Highlander in a dozen other ways, even if it didn’t that factor alone would be the deciding point.

Great video and very accurate assessment. I say this because I am blessed by God to have a 2024 CX-90 PHEV Premium after having the blessing to have a 2021 Highlander XLE Hybrid.

There's no replacement for displacement! That was the saying from the 1970's and 80's when I was driving a 389 cu in V8 GTO! But my engine was considered "mid sized" and the 426 cu in Hemi was king of the road, then the 440 cu in, then everything else (Mopar ruled the day.)

Narrowed it down to these 2 I believe the interest rate and warranty are both better on the Toyota that being said I also prefer the look and feel of the Mazda better so I am still undecided. Your review was wonderful and very helpful thank you!

I drove all those midsize suv's and finally bought Mazda . It's handled better, little stiffer, which is better glued to the ground ,and driving is more exciting.
