  • 👋 Lets take a look at the all new 2024 Mazda CX-90 SUV which is a 3 row vehicle for the family. The Toyota Highlander has been a tried and true family SUV for a very long time! So let's put the new kid on the block against the long lasting Highlander! The all new 2024 Mazda CX90 is a pretty nice option for a 3 row SUV. You do get a lot of room, tons of features and overall this is a solid choice for a family focused SUV. THe steering does feel a bit heavy and I don't think the interior tech is that easy to use. It does drive very smooth and has good build quality and nice materials. THe Toyota Highlander has a much nicer interior screen thats easier to use and it's very smooth and easy to drive. THe third row in the highlander leaves a lot to be desired and is pretty small compared to the CX90. Both second row seats seem to be about the same. I think the CX90 really does give a good run to the other mid sized crossover SUV's that have three row seating and is a worth while option to take a look at! Highlander is still a solid choice too with how easy it is to drive and how dependable they are. In this video, we compare the 2024 Mazda CX90 vs the Toyota Highlander. We'll look at the specs of the two vehicles, as well as how they compare in terms of interior space, usability, technology and comfort. Do you want the best family crossover SUV? Check out this comparison between the Mazda CX90 and the Toyota Highlander to see which one is the better choice for you! We'll compare the specs, the performance and the comfort of the two vehicles to help you make the best decision for your needs.

I have a new Mazda CX-5 and I love it. You don't have to toggle the big button to change any radio channels. There is a steering wheel control for that. The screen is touch screen when the car is not moving.

Driving the CX90 rental and have falling in love. It feels more luxurious and modern than the highlander.

i prefer the additional power on the mazda cx90, even if i’m not using it most days. Having it when needed will seem like a lifesaver

Mazda is the winner. Also, you can have the touchscreen on at all times in settings. The Mazda chime is a much nicer decibel that doesn’t make your ears bleed.

Where in the screen can you do that?
And the Mazda chime is so annoying lol, Toyotas is much better in my opinion.

I just got a cx 90 premium plus. The infotainment screen becomes a touchscreen when in apple carplay or android auto mode but only if the car is in idle. If you want to switch radio stations there is a toggle switch in the steering wheel for that so no need to reach for the screen or the rotating knob.

I know how it works lol but it should be a fully touch screen system and not just focused for that. Everything else is touch screen these days, it needs to catch up.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed then I guess that makes the mazda less dangerous to drive then as touch screens just distracts most drivers 🤪

Mazda had touchscreens in previous model years. It was a decision by Mazda to go with a different and more reliable and less distracting option. @@BrosFOURRSpeed

In settings you can make it to where the touch screen works in aa or ac while the car is in motion my dealer did it for me on my 90 but honestly I like the dial

Great comparison thank you! Anybody had any good luck negotiating the price down with dealers on either? My wife is considering both.

Mazda CX-90 is the clear winner here but Toyota has Grand Highlander to kill the CX-90

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  9 месяцев назад

Yeah the Grand Highlander really is nice! Big step up from the normal one.

Mazda CX90. I much prefer the infotainment center with the knob control rather than having to have finger marks all over the touchscreen. I also like the controls being lower and not being so prominent on the dash. It looks sleeker and more high end.

If you want to change your stations hit the favorites button and all your presets come up. He does not know how to use the system.

That's if you have favorites setup. It still isn't nearly as user friendly as pretty much every other car

@@BrosFOURRSpeed I disagree. I own an Abarth 124 Spider with the same system. After you learn the functions, it is very easy to navigate wherever you want to go. I can fly thru the different functions. You are just too lazy to take the time to learn how the system works and would rather trash it as not good. You are wrong.

ugly interior design for toyota highlander and it’s boring to drive. plus no discount from most dealers.
