I got the 2024 Highlander XLE AWD. I love it but I do like the boxier look of the grand highlander. I also love the captains chairs in mine. Keeps the kids apart lol.
I have been using the grand Highlander for 5 months, good car, suspension is bit soft and steering ratio is different from other cars but overall smooth ride xle is good enough.
Both are nice SUV. But I am planning to purchase the Highlander Hybrid. Sportier crossover look and lighter handling. In addition it had enough interior space and much better fuel mileage. It meets my requirements :)
Love the front grill on my 2024 AWD plantinum highlander with carmel glaze leather. Did not buy a Lexus or grand highlander because of the carnival front grills! I found my platinium highlander to be roomier and more elegant than the LX 350L's I was looking at except for the wood trim which was slightly inferior in the highlander...but no carnival grill!

How do you get the spare tire if you have one tire flat on the Highlander? even worse at night or raining? or all together. I don't think having the spare tire on the chassis is the right decision, only because of that, I'd never buy it...

Grand Highlander is lazy copy and paste design work. I’ll take a regular Highlander all day long and I prefer the previous generation anyways.

Highlander is better looking. Grand Highlander is not unique it looks like a copy of RAV4 when I see it on the road.
The grand is just a whole lot bigger.

Wish they stuck with the V6 on the new models. Turbos are still unproven. More complexity, more to fail.
