Hi - Just thought I'd let you know ... after watching your video, we decided to buy the Gazelle T4 Plus Overlander! Just arrived and we're letting it warm up (was below freezing temps during its transit). Our first camping trip will be 5/19/23! We actually ordered 3 other tents prior and returned them (Amazon was NOT happy! Oh well). We ordered the Gazelle from the manufacturer. So excited about using this tent. It's everything we were looking for. Thank you for your video.

It's funny cause I don't think people actually just sit and watch some water. That comes from movies and we pretend like it's a human pasttime and I don't know a single person who just watches water for more than maybe 10 mins

Very good demonstration of setting up the tent. Nice to finally hear someone reviewing these Gazelle tents say it takes longer than 60 or 90 seconds to set up a tent and then you are done. And good to even point out things like pushing the ground sheet under the tent so rain doesn’t collect and a method for pulling tent pegs. Obviously not your first rodeo. A demonstration of the tent in the rain was also informative. Well done sir.

Man, I've had this tent for 2 years, set it up about 100 times and still learned 5 things from your video. Thanks!

    Where was the extream weather?

  • @xknopr8tr

I spent $89 on a Coleman 4 person insta-tent. I've had it for 14 years and is finally showing some signs of wear. I was curious to see what's new out there and a friend told me about Gazelle. I've never had the issues with the Coleman tent I see in this vid with water/bugs etc and have also been in some crazy weather. I've never had to put a tarp under it. It has never leaked. This thing is $500+. Thanks but no thanks. I'll buy another Coleman.

Holy crap! A realistic setup time. So many youtubers/influencers forget the stakedown time and want to make every tent seem as if its the fastest set up time, with adding in the little things like you did. Great Job!

The fact that you opened the zipper of that bag with one hand is enough proof for me!

What are your long term thoughts on the design of the velcro detachable floor? I've seen some other review mention that it can be a hassle to get the velcro lined up when using the door on the open screened in area, and it can be a real easy way for insects and even rodents to get in the tent. I'm not sure what the thinking was around that part of the design. It seems like it would be plenty easy to sweep/wipe out the floor without needing to detach it to clean it.

I’m a bit older than most tent campers, campus, same arthritic issues that some have. I have been looking at the T4 and the T 8 tents, thinking that it should be pretty easy to set up and take down. I’m going to try to find a camping store around me that might have one on display that I can see how hard it is to pull the sides out and push them back in thinking it shouldn’t be that hard I love this chat this would save me from buying two items, the tent, and then the screened in canopy, thank you for such a fantastic overview of this tent. I think you’re sold me on it.

Screw in pegs and a cordless drill. Game changer.

Great content! I'm an eagle scout and have camped in many different kinds of tents over the past years. This tent looks awesome. I'll definitely be picking one up. Thanks for the great info.
