Here's what it looks when Sims make lemonade in The Sims 2, The Sims 3 and The Sims 4. When life gives you lemons ..
Sims lemonade comparison.
It might be weird, but the fact the Sims 2 girl serves the lemonade in a sloppy way making most of it fall is really cute.
It's tiny details like this what made the game feel alive
I haven't tried but now I wonder if a tidier sim would serve it in a neater way.
Sims 2 nailed the childness of children. They do everything in a lanky, energetic kind of way.
What’s weird about it?
That and the humming/singing. The individual character type of details in sims 2 were so good, I don’t think I truly appreciated all of them back when I was playing it all the time
THIS! I took a small break from Sims 4 and got back into Sims 2 and the way the kids would haul ass to the driveway to greet dad when he came home from work made me cry. It's the little things, and EA removed a good chunk of them from Sims 4. It's like making a body without a heart. 😢
sims 4 using lemonade powder while the other two games actually juice the lemons is a beautiful metaphor
I was thinking the same thing 😆😅
can u explain
Sims 3 Had A Female With Katy Perry Body
@@shanabdulla-ij3xyIn general the sims 2 showed care and thought was put into every detail while the sims 4 almost always feels lackluster and half baked my wedding stories still being a sold pack that doesn't work is proof of that
I DIDNT EVEN KNOW SIMS 4 HAD LEMONADE E💀💀
Sims 2: Realistic
Sims 3: Technological Advancements
Sims 4: Magic
I love that the oldest is the most realistic lmao
@@sedktilhThat's what's called artstyle refining
Sims 2: practicality
Sims 3: possibilities
Sims 4: shit
But what's with Simone?
if its TS4 cant get any more cancer then proceed proudly to be more cancer
takes powder puts in water stirs it for a second = oh yeah it's a delicious healthy lemonade drink
seriously this company needs to f off and close shop ... its not even funny anymore its just beyond sad and toxic what they do
I honestly just dont get it how so many people who are dropped on their heads get to have a job in such positions and many even reproduce to have more of the same idiotic offspring or even worse.
The little girl tasting and saying "mmm that's it" in Sims 2 and "bloop bloop bloop" as she churns the lemons in Sims 3 is too cute. 😂
I thought she was saying that’s good 😊
@@bambii1955 probably neither since it's not a real language, but it sounds close to these
I thought she said, "mmm, it's tasty!"😅
And I heard "mmm that's sick"

Sims 2 her letting the juice spill all over the table is so cute. Just screams kids lemonade stand
we never had these in my country but I see these in american media occasionally (like cartoons from 00s)
Sims 2’s attention to detail will never fail to amaze me
Sims 2 was made with love. It blew everyone away
❤❤❤
Yes!!!! So true that it was made with love ❤
You couldn’t be more right! That’s what made me fall in love with it in the first place.. not whatever 4 is 😢
This. This is the key right here. It was made with LOVE just as many other games were back then. It’s like games nowadays serve no purpose but to generate as MUCH revenue as possible while they figure out how to spend the least amount possible on development
Sims 2 was the best version, they should upgrade the graphics and some game mechanics on that instead of making Sims 5 😂
Sims 2 def won its litteraly so cute
Ots like watching a baby make it
Is it literally cute
Да!❤
@@TheB14HB14H yes?
I literally love all the animations in the sims 2, but since they can be long I just wish time went slower 😅
This lemonade making animations are a direct correlation to the amount of soul and love put into each of them imo
God, sims 2 is just so sweet. The little humming, the sloppy pour, the “mm, that’s good!” in simlish 😭 so so so charming. And the game was made for no reason other than to improve upon their first concept and create a truly one of a kind and fun experience for their players. You can see the love in it.
*Mmm That’s It* That’s What She Said
Sims 2: realistic child making lemonade.
Sims 3: child pulling out machine to grind them lemons for lemonade.
Sims 4: the conjuring of lemonade from air
The sims 2 is the best❤
@@BarbLisCas777Agreed
Sims 4 do be using kool-aid
No sims 4 uses powder silly
It's lemon powder
Objects just teleporting in the Sims 4 makes the game so lifeless. The Sims 2 stays superior when it comes to details, but the Sims 3 is still amazing too even if it isn’t detailed as Sims 2
at least sims 3 is such a big and heavy game that some animation shortcurts make sense and are forgivable. Sims 2 was making you stuck only on 1 plot so they decided to make it enjoyable with extreme details.
Now sims 4 is more similar to sims 2 in terms of the available locations, yet it has less animations than sims 3.
Thats how you determine a cashgrab..
@@meiru2453exactly, you can forgive many of sims 3's more simplistic animations due to the sheer size and scope of the game, but sims 4 has NO excuses.
The only thing that's hig about that game is the list of DLC for it
I started my Sims journey with Sims 3, got Sims 2 a long while later, so for me Sims 3 is the superior game because I actually can play it well. Sims 2 is so chaotic that it's really possible to have the house on fire in literal minutes after starting the game and it's not my cup of tea. But I'm amazed by Sims 2 attention to detail. I would just sit and watch Sims do stuff and wonder how come they achieved that in early 2000s, but can't make it now
I was just going to say like, how many animations did they leave out the Sims 4? Those little things were the best part😢
@@meiru2453 How were you such on one lot? You had a car you could go anywhere. When you got married you could plan a honeymoon and a limousine would pick you up at the end of your wedding party to take you abroad. You could literally check into a hotel and order room service or you could eat dinner in the restaurant in the hotel lobby or go out to dinner. I could go on for hours. But you were in no way trapped on your lot.
In sims 2, I spent 3 seconds making a family, and building a home to then spend hours in gameplay. In sims 4, I spend hours making a family and building a home to then spend 3 seconds in gameplay. Sims 2 graphics may be janky, but the gameplay will always surpass sims 4 by miles 😫
I swear making the characters and home is the best part. Gameplay be borin asl.
I've never played The Sims 2, I just watched let'splays, I like the graphics of The Sims 2, I think its cute
AGREE
Depends what you consider "gameplay" because there's a massive category of people who exclusively care about build mode and CAS lmao
Sims 4 is plastic. The open world has been removed, but the gameplay with animation is crap. It's fun to create a house there and that's it... And even creating a house is nonsense, there is not even an opportunity to change the color of a thing. Boredom. Without expensive extras, it's a boring dump with a deserted city. Yes, even the additions are so-so... The addition with mermaids is terrible - There is no Underwater world. They did it purely for show, to beg for money.😢
2: undiluted lemon syrup
3: pure lemon juice
4: crystal light
I haven’t ever played this game but from observations from RUclips shorts, it looks like sims 4 has everything spawning right before your eyes while sims 2 and 3 wow were made with love. It’s the little details with variations that makes a player coming back to play
i honestly fail to see attention to details in sims 3 (from this short) since it's short and lemonade and ice just spawb from air.
But the 2's animation was def cool
I also just love how she's singing or talking to herself in Sims 2
The lemonade in the sims 4 is as blunt as the game itself
Powered lemonade 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Kaching kaching 💰
Stop. Complaining. Grow tf up
You are as toxic as Chernobyl
I don't think people realize just how insanely DETAILED all the actions and animations in Sims 2 were. Sucks that we'll never get that back.
Sims 2 до сих пор работает! Проверяй :)
It's not that we can't. It just means production would be slow, profits would drop and artist's salary would inflate to adjust with economic. Some grubby big corp like EA don't like that. And some ADHD fans cannot stay with stagnant gameplay.
You’re right. It was the last game our sims could change a lightbulb in. That game was so much better.
If they stop making shortcuts maybe one day
i wouldn't personally describe the detailing as insane, i could think of ten better and more appropriate adjectives than insane
Sims 2: child is child
Sims 3: child is serious
Sims 4: soulless with animation shortcuts
Sims 2 : Innocent tax evasion.
Sims 3 : Tax evasion grindset.
Sims 4 : communism
Ok to be fair tho, that sims 2 girl is a fully programmed lemonade stall. The sims 4 one is just a lemonade pitcher that any sim can use, there is no lemonade stand in the game.
The animations aren’t trying to be the same bc they’re not for the same feature.
True
Still sucks
Compare all the features - the regression is so vivid
Sims 4 always cracks me up with its water downed, lifeless, budget cutting physics😂 and let me guess you need an pack to make lemonade🤦
Nah, you need the kit for the tray with pitcher and glasses of lemonade as a decor item. But you'll need the stuff pack to actually get sims animations of making/ selling the lemonade 😑
@@xykarijehywat0814 that's actually so ridicilous omg
@@xykarijehywat0814 EA over here taking notes and seeing dollar signs like this is a player-requested feature.
I'm sad for kids today who are missing out on what the Sims used to be before EA sold out and started using micro-transactions for every single thing, versus what used to exist in the game as a standard. Each expansion or stuff pack for Sims 2 and Sims 3 that came out contained the exact same attention to small details and level of depth/love put into their creation as the base games and it was worth it to spend the money on all of them. Sims 1 set the standard for quality, and it was improved 100 fold when Sims 2 was released. If Sims 5 had the depth of care in its creation as Sims 1 and 2, with the open world capabilities of Sims 3, and the appearance of Sims 4, it would be the best Sims game of all time, imo. I will not hold my breath though, now that EA cares more about doing less for more. You shouldn't have to buy every pack and download a ton of mods for a game to almost resemble what the Sims used to be. The base should be good enough from the jump that you buy those other components to add to the already great world, not because the game would (maybe) suck less without them.
@@xykarijehywat0814 whichs packs/kits do you need? 😭 I've literally never seen this item before, I thought the video was going to end in "there's no lemonade in the Sims 4"

Sims 2 with its realistic details, sims 3 with its wide range of activity, and here we got sims 4...
Right like they traded off the realistic details and realism for… graphics? lol
Why we acting like lemonade powder not real? 👀 And so what if they had dehydrated shrunken lemons that revitalize after a few stirs in water 😂

There are some mods or cc for the sims 2 that change the graphics to make it look like the sims 4
And the open world of the third
Don’t we all? 😂
Seriously
not sure why people like sims 4 graphics so much, I rather them build off the sims 3 graphics when your computer can handle it. Your sims look so much cuter!
Sims 2 was made with so much love and detail
God, you're gonna make me go back to the Sims 2. I used to have so much fun making my own neighborhood and homes.
The "plop plop plop" sounds while making lemonade in Sims 3 are just adorable, I can't 😭❤️
@amanda1994x Yea it's my fave, periodt sis. 💅✨
@amanda1994xIt doesn'f suck. It's just different from the sims 2 but it still has a charm to it.
@amanda1994xsomeone is hostile about a cute animation let me guess sims 2 is your favorite because it’s most people’s favorite so you feel the need to downplay the sims 3 to feel better
@@kuroo8484 I really don't understand the hostility some people have towards ts3. It's similar to ts2 in many ways while still bringing something on it's own. Most of the expantion packs are great (example: World Adventures is probably the best pack about trips in the franchise) and the open world, while laggy as fuck, is something I also very much appreciate. The sims 4 managed to be laggy and buggy without it. Obviously they don't need to like the game but portraying it as a bad one is pretty unfair.
@@alexf225god I miss the open world so much, it took forever to start the game but I was in I never seemed to have any major problems.
That was just for me though I heard other people say they had a ton of issues with it but I loved the size of the worlds.
All the worlds in sims4 feels so ridiculously small now, even though I do still enjoy 4 I just really miss the open world
The spilling lemonade all over the table in sims2 is absolutely perfect 😂
The Sims 2 has always had the most detailed and true-to-life animations and I’ll scream that from the rooftops
Fr! (Me and my homies using the bubble blower irl)
go touch some grass, then go watch a video on that new game, InZOI
And you would be right
So true! Even just walking animations were so much more lively
Sims 2 may be old but I think it will always be my favourite because of things like this 😊 So many good things they didn't keep in 3 and 4.
In TS2 girl spills much of the lemonade, but the whole process is somehow lovely
What the hell is wrong with Sims 4?? Just teleporting everything 😂😂😂
Pov: Wow.! Thanks for the likes. 😁
Making everything fast - a problem. Sims taking awhile - a problem. Yall are toxic af
@@theminegirl3775 nah EA got lazy and knew we’d give them money either way. They took out so many little details because they didn’t want to do more animations. It’s fncking ridiculous
Was originally meant to be multiplayer (for money reasons) was remade to a single player last minute=unfinished simplified game. After that it's still all about money and laziness.
@@natasha675 you do realise that you need to put way more work to add all of these details into a better graphics game than in like sims 2 or 3. Sims 3 is laggy af due to being an open world and in the color wheel tab and for some reason nobody says anything? People are used to complain about sims 4. Nobody forced you or others buy packs. It was all your choice. Many games start out crappy and buggy. Especially after every update where items or gameplay is added and it's apsolutely normal
@@theminegirl3775The problem with the sims 4 is that it's an obvious cash grab. From base game to almost every expansion pack. It's all rushed, unfinished, laggy, etc. And when EA makes the amount of money that they do, there's no reason. In fact no one is complaining about how long packs and game development takes, in fact many sims 4 players *want* them to take their time on it so they can get good quality game play. If a life simulation game is making people pay for WEATHER, it's very obvious it's a cash grab
The Sims 2 was way ahead of its time
Exactly for it's time, IE a better time than now.
it was made with care and love, not for a sole purpose to make money. that's the difference.
The sims 2 is the best
My quality and realism ranking:
1.The Sims 2
2.The Sims 3
3.The Sims 4
I prefer Sims 4 over 3 this time purely for visuals. Sims 3s major weakness is its look especially the sims. In this case the whole scene looks jarring. TS 4 looks aesthetically pleasing.
Can't play it though because I cannot stand the (poor) humour. It has many flaws but this one was impossible to ignore. Whoever was writing for Sims 2 and 3 clearly wasn't anymore and it shows.
I prefer the sims 3 but would love to have the sims 4 quality
agree! Its also the same ranking for how fun it is to play imo. 😊 (and how addictive the game gets🙈)
The way the sims 2 girl tried it and said “mmm das it” was so funny 😭
The camera hovering on the lemonade at the end for just a few uncomfortable seconds is pure art.
The sims 2 is always praised for it's little deatails (and rightfully so, this is the example) but sims 3 kid making lemanade is cute too.
They really went from organic to lemonade koolaid packets 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Better off to just get lemon squash at that point lol, probably would end up tasting better than some powdery thing
A RUclipsr once said they hate how in the sims 4 hey just pop things in and out of existence with their hands because it breaks immersion, and I didn’t understand but now I do 😭 sims 2 had some crisp animations for what it was worth!
I love how they actually place objects down and pick them up. They don’t just magically teleport when they get near the counter
I love the background noise of sims 2 it still calms me and reminds me of times when I played it as a teenager with no responsibilities. 😂
I still play the Sims2, after all these years.

Sims 4 only use the sachet of lemonade 😂
Sims 4 can't be bothered to use actual lemonade to squeeze nor use a squeezer like in Sims 3 lol.
