Dude, what you said about Ruby Rose is soo true. I had a BFF in jail named cricket who was a stud. She looked like Justin Bieber with dark hair and bright blue eyes. we ended up going to prison the same day together and I warned her that females would be alllll over her when she got there. and what do you know, they were. she would get all kinds of kites from random ass girls under her pillow, people were always trying to talk to her, and people would even try to be friends with me just so they could get to her. it was the weirdest thing. she said it was like being a celebrity.
and everyone thought we were together because we were good friends and she was a stud. and I was like, damn cant a girl just have a homeboy in prison?!
I’m so glad you used the word stud. I’ve gotten so much hate from people saying I shouldn’t say that, I should say transgender. But stud isn’t an offensive term in there. And not everyone wants to be referred to as transgender.
I would never use a derogatory term against someone, much less in the LGBTQ community. So thank you for that.

My dad was a corrections captain. He was unfortunately one of the bad ones. He would bring the job home with him. He treated my siblings and I like criminals when we got in trouble as kids. He was extremely controlling and abusive. I had bad anxiety and panic attacks because of it.

I really appreciate your sensitivity talking about the sexual harassment scene. Using ‘4 letter R word’ and other round about ways you used to explain the realities of prison.. it makes it easier to watch as a survivor. I love your videos and I appreciate your loving nature and ability to talk about hard things but with sensitivity, empathy and love❤️

I would love to hear about the mind games inmates play with each other. How long did it take to know if you could trust someone? Did anyone totally flip their personality around suddenly? How would a really kind and giving person mentally protect themselves in prison?

Never ever fully trust anyone, you can be cool with one or two ppl but never go 100percent full trust when inside. (from a male perspective and experience) always have some level of guard up no matter how comfortable with Anyone. Even if you run across someone you knew before prison.

I had a incident as a C/O where my supervisor showed up at my house and tried forcing himself on me, very true story. Not all guards are bad but some need to be behind bars 24/7
I work overnights and i live by myself with no family. When i come home the minute i get through the door im depressed and i just sit on my bed for hours not even moving. I would try to watch different youtube videos to make me feel better but nothing would get me out of bed. Ever since i found your channel my life has changed. I come home now and ill put on one of your videos. After i watch it im so motivated, i shower and study to get my ged everytime after. Watching your videos makes me feel like youre my close friend looking out for me. Please dont stop making videos, theyre helping me with my depression. Ive watched all your videos, i adore you so much. I just found out about your p.o. box and ill defintely send you something soon. Me too, my parents just got divorced and it’s bad like we were in an abusive situation and my mom is now working 2 jobs so it’s like I lost both parents and I’ve been so depressed and ill put on her videos and it’s weird but it feels good to feel like you have a parent or like someone looking out for you and she’s motivated me to want more with my life and try harder and I get ups and downs but I know if I’m in a bad mental state I can watch her and feel better 💖

The system needs to change ..rape in jail is still a crime .There needs to be cameras in prison to stop crimes like that from happening inside jail cells. Prison is supposed to be a place where criminals get rehabilitation but instead they get out with trauma.

it's so mad that in american prisons you can't wear your own vclothes. in the u.k a prisoner who is sentenced can have a prop card and is allowed 2 pairs of trainers , sox and underwear x 10 , 5 pairs of bottoms , 10 tops , 5 sets of p.js - it's mental. And Christina we should do a U.k v's USA differences in prison.
I think they do it as a psychological thing. Like a herd mentality. Everyone looks the same, smells the same, herded the same. I believe it's to try to subconsciously make everyone docile. Not sure If it works, but it sure is demeaning. I've watched alot of Lock Up and many of the prisions in European Union and Russia have fresh real food, and allows many of the things you stated. I would think all of that, plus contact "wink wink" visits with husbands or wives would be a much easier way to make the inmates docile instead of treating them like cattle. Our system is not really much on rehabilitation but rather punishment. It's a shame really. Non violent criminals are treated just like a rapist or murderer.
Good points however living in America and I’m sure you all know how it is here, the prisoners here have done some horrible things so in that respect they rlly don’t deserve much as well it’s the same as school who have uniforms to stop bullying etc to make everyone “equal”

@@teliyahsam2137 of course people in ALL prisons have done horrible things...thats why they are locked up. The idea of them not deserving anything better stands true but when you look at our recidivism rate and from the perspective of trying to rehabilitate people so they don't keep returning, obviously the US system is failing.
Yeah In the UK we do have better prison lifestyles than America. But there is so many more prisons that live a life of luxury.

My dad is a CO and there have been times where former inmates who have since gotten out see my dad in public and smile and say “hey officer (last name)!!” So I hope that means my dad is a good one lol

My brother in-law is in prison here in Virginia and they have the dog training program. He said that ever since he’s started that program he has been less angry, more motivated and has gained so much more compassion. We can’t wait for him to come home in December 💖
I think people who don’t get the wanting to feel beautiful in prison should think about it this way: I was in the hospital for a week a year ago and it’s different but I had heart issues, dehydration, I was a fall risk and you better believe I showered, wore cute clothes, took care of my skin, shaved my legs, I’m still HUMAN! I decorated my room too. Most people in the hospital would think that’s crazy but that’s who I am and being sick didn’t change that and being in prison doesn’t either.
Merch idea: I was hoping that there could be a t shirt or a hoodie with “ya’ll already know...” on the front and then “ya’ll are my babies” on the back! That’s my favorite part of your intro! I’m so happy that your channel is blowing up!! You deserve it girl!!

We had a dog training program at the prison I was at called Puppies for Parole. You had to be doing a substantial amount of time in order to be in the program. But it was so cute though, some of the ladies would take their dogs out to rec and you were allowed to pet them if you asked the trainer. oh and on Halloween they actually dressed the dogs up in costumes and paraded them around the camp. 🤣
Im a huge beleiver in this program! I think its fantastic for not only the inmate but for the dog too. Obviously only allowing inmates without a history of animal abuse.
I've heard of that! There's also a rescue that has a TV show (you may have heard of them) that's called Pits and Parolees.
That is so cute! I really love those kind of programs for inmates. I believe it's beneficial for both the inmate and dog they both learn something new at the same time. Also having dogs around a prison seems to be a good distraction for the inmates like it reminds them of home.
@@Lemonade_Stand_ Yup, there were certain crimes you couldn't be convicted of to be in the program, animal abuse obviously being the major one.
@@emilygalindo7575 It really is a great program. The dogs love all the attention they get and it also gives inmates a sense of purpose while they're there, like they're actually doing something positive that makes a difference. And I believe it counts towards community service hours, for the ladies who are court ordered to complete x amount of hours. The dogs are treated amazingly well. They live really good lives in the program, until they're trained and old enough to be adapted by their owner.
You give me hope for my sister. My sister is in and out of jail and prison and I don’t know what will end it but I kind of want to direct her to your channel and be like- look girl! This is something you could change into. I mean she’s GORGEOUS. Just like drop dead omg.
⭐️⭐️⭐️Update: my sister is out of prison now and she has (legally) gotten her license, insurance, bought a car, has two jobs and even has her own little apartment with a puppy! I’m so proud of her! She has stayed clean and doesn’t roll with her old crowd of friends that she used to. I showed her this channel and she’s contemplating making a channel as well to share some of her life lessons and stories. She’s a little unsure and embarrassed I think, but I really hope she does it because wow.... she’s been involved with some very very intense stuff.... stuff you’d only think you’d see on crime shows or movies. Anyways, thank you guys for the likes and Christina I love you! You’re awesome and such a beautiful role model ❣️❣️❣️

I seen a documentary a couple years ago where there was a dog program in a men's prison where they worked with the dogs & the dogs lived with the inmates in special cells. They said that behavior throughout the prison had improved once they started the program because everyone was trying to get into the program. I think that's an awesome idea!! There are so many strays & prisoners out there that just want some love!! Why not team them up!?
Yessssss! I saw it to! The prisoners were acting ALOT better because they wanted that companionship with the dog so badly! & they had something to focus on! It melted my heart because you know those dogs bonded & loved those men! The fact that the dogs slept with them in the cells ...man my heart melted. I wish more prisons would do this. So many doggies would get homes.
Marie Langemeier I saw a similar documentary with cats. I think it’s a great idea especially since there’s so many animals in shelters that need a home and a second chance.
I saw a documentary like that on PBS, I'm in Oklahoma and they were showing one of our state prisons here "Lexington Correctional Facility"...they would live with and take care of the dogs,they train them and then the local animal shelter would adopt them out and sometimes give them to senior citizens at nursing homes. Pretty cool program 👍🏽
I love the idea of helping strays/dogs in kill shelters etc. and prisoners both have a new lease on life by pairing them! Even letting them adopt the dog once they're out of prison? Would be amazing for both the dogs and the people I think
They do that at our prison here in Ohio.. let me tell you, those dogs are the best, most well trained dogs! It has to be good for the prisoners as well!
I think it might be a good merch design to have something to do with a mustard seed. Like “it all started with a mustard seed” because your life changed because of that and you were able to share your testimony with all of us because of it 🥰❤️

If a woman does successfully manipulate a male guard, what kinds of things have you seen or heard of a guard doing for a woman inmate? What would be some of the things the woman inmate would be trying to get the male guard to do for her, like sneaking in contraband, or anything like that?

I had an abusive childhood and abusive husband. (It's a cycle)
I have a service dog for my Complex PTSD, Spinal issues etc. She wasn't trained by a program like this but she is a 9 year old pitbull, I know she will eventually have to retire. I love that they have this program for prisoners, I'll definitely be looking into the cost of having my next one be trained this way.

Yes rape happens in women’s prisons. My mom who worked in one a long time ago had to help stop a rape. They heard a scream & found one woman was violating another with a broom handle. 😕

i’m probably too late to get noticed but i’ve been watching you’ve videos so much recently!! my close guy friend is in prison now for 11 more years and i’ve been trying to learn more about inmates and things y’all go and have been through. i love your honesty and how kind your heart is. it radiates throughout your videos !! your life completely changed around it’s amazing to see
When I got to prison they were just starting a unit they called the "wellness block". It was a unit focusing on mental health. We had more classes and (ideally) it was more focused on mental health to lower recidivism. I have no idea if they are still doing it but it was a good idea. P.s. our dresses were long t shirts that went to our knees

🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐕🐩🐕🐩🐾🐾🐾🐾 yessss for the dog program! I saw part of a documentary about this. The men LOVED being in the program. 1 man said his dog completely turned his behavior/life around. The men got to be with their dogs 24/7&they slept in their cells w/ them. The dogs were rescued from a shelter & brought into the prison. So they are saving dogs lives & giving the men something positive to do, something to bond w/, & something to focus on. The man said the hardest part was having to say goodbye to his dog when the training was done. He got teary eyed when talking about it & lawdyyyy I almost started bawling crying bc of it. Couldnt imagine spending that much time w/ a fur baby & then having to say goodbye.
I hope in the future that more prisons pick up this program. It will save soooo many dogs lives & I truly believe it will rehabilitate so many more people. 1 man said that he was never excited to get out of prison b4, but now that he learned he loves dogs, he wanted to get out more than ever so he could rescue & keep a dog of his own. I believe the prison said statistics show the return rate has gone down drastically w/ the men that are in this program....I have 2 fur babies myself & they are my world. 1 of mine is a 10 year old pittie mix..I got him from the shelter when he was only 8 months old & hes been my world ever since. My other baby is a 2 year old American bull dog / pitbull mix. He is 90 lbs, a blue brindle w/ baby blue eyes & he thinks he is a lap dog. My bf & I sleep w/ both of them in our bed every night & its hilarious to see bc we have no room but we wouldnt trade it for the world. I snuggle my 10 year old pittie all night long & he snuggles our American bull dog lol.
***I would LOVE to see part 3 of this comparison & I would like to see some scenes w/ "daddy" in them since you did 1 w/ ruby rose & I'd like to know what you think about daddy vs. Ruby rose. & if u dont know..."daddy" is in the latest season & shes what I think of when you call them "studs" especially w/ how much of a lady chaser she is. U will see her "outside prison" story when u watch the flashback parts of the show. Daddy has gotten even more social media attention & women going crazy over her than ruby rose! & in real life, daddy & 1 of the blonde guards in the show are dating!! ****
Our doggy came from a prison program. My hubby is a guard and the prison he works at has "dawgs prison program " and he always gets to see all the dogs that come in and they even give employees a discount on adoption fees. We love our furbaby so much, I have never had a more well trained dog. Such a positive thing for everyone, the dogs, inmates and adopters! 😁
Can you do a part 3 on seasons 6 and 7 which are the seasons that they are in maximum security
