Just from my experience playing on a lenovo gaming lappy, this has to be one of the best PC ports I've ever seen. Incredibly smooth, visually stunning experience in 100+ fps. Absolutely amazing work by the devs.
I love this game so much. I'm here to see how the PC port is running (and it seems decent) before I recommend it to certain close, PlayStationless, friends.
Got this game last Christmas on PS5. Beat the game a few days before it came out on PC. Solid experience, good story, beautiful graphics. I too experinced the stand off glitch on PS5 too, I'm surprised it hasnt been fixed for PC either
I played this on ps4 pro 4 years back and on my oled was the ultimate experience...when i heard it will come to pc i bought an oled monitor and a high end rig to experience it in 200 fps...yeah my 4080 is ready..but the vistas seen for the first time and wind effects with leaflets is jaw breaking
One of my favorite games of all time. Reviewers when it came out didn't think the story was compelling, but I think they didn't get far enough in the game to be able to make that statement. Like all good epic novels in this era (Shogun, Taiko, Musashi) it takes time to build, but when it does? Fantastic. This game's ending in particular, although it was a simple "this or that" choice, honestly still leaves an impression on my to this day wondering which ending could be considered canon.
I binged this game on PS4 when it came out and cleared 100% of the map before they added an expansion or much else. Now that it's finally out on PC, I'm ready to do it again. I recommend playing the game in Japanese with English subtitles for maximum samurai vibes.
I played about 20hrs when it came out and then gave my ps4 to my brother because he was having a kid. Stoked to actually go through this now, on my gaming rig!
It's amazing how much more connected with the game world you feel when the screen isn't plastered with HUD elements and quest markers. The way the game naturally leads you towards places of interest feels so refreshing compared to most open world games. I do hope Sony has a task force trying to figure out a solution for their PSN-on-PC problem, I'm sure they'd also like the money from these players.
1:42 mentions the world being rendered in high quality flawlessly just as there is some pop in with the fire in the building across the way. right when he says flawlessly lol
Played on ps4 and bought the upgrade for ps5. Havent playe😊d since ps4 launch. I turned my volume super up! Best way to experience this game is to turn up your volumes and enjoy and hear the sword clashes and perfect counters. With those volumes up, it makes me really wish i was ronin within those time 😌
Thanks for mentioning the standoff bug. It happens so frequently for me that I've just stopped doing standoffs. Kind of a bummer, since they're a really cool idea imo.
I am ECSTATIC that I'm finally able to play this on PC. This is truly one of the most gorgeous games EVER. I couldn't help just standing there and admire the breathtaking sceneries.
I already played it on PS5 so I knew what was waiting for me. So I had no problem preordering it. Lol I never preorder. I was a bit scared that the technical part could be a problem. But Im happy that everythings been totally fine for me. Tho there are two minor eye raiser. I can just run thru bamboo trees. Has this always been the case? I dont remember 😅. Also the arm things of kimonos seem a bit bugged. But after all. Still a great game. No matter if PS or PC. Loved it there. Also love it on PC. Only wish I had a DualSense because playing it was more convenient and atmospheric with the PS controller rather than the xbox. But its not a big deal
Hands down one of the best games out there, along with rdr2. And I very rarely say that. Anyone who hasn’t played it yet, just go for it. Might feel a bit repetitive at times, but it never fails to surprise as you go forward. One of the best fighting mechanics out there too. And having mods going nuts on this soon, it is just chefs kiss.
Before today, I'd never even heard of this game, but when I was watching this review, I was thinking the whole time, "This looks like a Samurai version of RDR2" LMFAO!!
@@kevykevTPA sadly it is not that realistic but, it is an experience on its own right. It definitely gives the same emptiness feeling when you end it though, cause the story is honestly amazing.
Ultra widescreen just makes all games look soooooooo much better. I seriously recommend everyone give a try for 3440x1440 resolution when thinking about upgrading from Full HD. These monitors do not cost much anymore, have amazing refresh rate (mine is 165), does not demand as much as 4K and with 4070 ti I can run any game Ultra on full resolution without any hickups while 4K would slow down and not even offer that much visual upgrade. Also ultrawide gives that perfect cinematic feeling and works extremely well for coding, art and multitasking 2-3 things at the same time on 1 monitor. Only problem is that older games like Skyrim (modded) needs usually extra mods for fixing the UI for ultawide view. And since I am using gyro for aiming/cursor on my PC (Alpakka controller), it requires getting used to different speeds for X and Y axis when moving the cursor/aiming. Or if you understand coding then you can fix the firmware to suit your screen better.
yeah...playing this on a qled ultrawide is really something else. it was gorgeous on the standard ps4, it's simply breathtaking on PC (and I can't even run it at ultra to be fair). and it runs like butter so far. great port, worth the wait
Good review! Thank you very much! The monitoring flickering is on you. I played on a big LG smart tv, no flicker. I played on a AOC 27 inch monitor, no flicker. So, yeah, sorry. I'm not an Xbox, nor a play station guy, I don't like controllers. Since 1st grade, I played games on PC, always am and always will play games only on PC, no matter how awesome games Sony makes, I will wait for the PC versions, like God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, etc. I backtracked a bit, sorry. Back to GoT. Now, the 1 thing I noticed is that I have the same issue like you do with the duels. The right button mouse doesn't respond. I don't know why. Other than that, the game is beautiful, story, music, environment, everything! Keep up the good work! All the best!

Just from my experience playing on a lenovo gaming lappy, this has to be one of the best PC ports I've ever seen. Incredibly smooth, visually stunning experience in 100+ fps. Absolutely amazing work by the devs.
I love this game so much.
I'm here to see how the PC port is running (and it seems decent) before I recommend it to certain close, PlayStationless, friends.
opening scene still gives me goosebumps till this day. best samurai theme game. graphics are top notch with the very minimalist UI
200 fps...xD....
First time player and buyer of the game. So far I spent my entire Sunday playing, love it so far even with the minor glitches.
I binged this game on PS4 when it came out and cleared 100% of the map before they added an expansion or much else. Now that it's finally out on PC, I'm ready to do it again. I recommend playing the game in Japanese with English subtitles for maximum samurai vibes.
Never played it before and really enjoying it now on PC, so far no big tech problem
Crazy how I bought it no hesitation last night and now I’m deciding to watch this
I played about 20hrs when it came out and then gave my ps4 to my brother because he was having a kid. Stoked to actually go through this now, on my gaming rig!
I have a lower end pc and the game runs amazing love good optimization
It's amazing how much more connected with the game world you feel when the screen isn't plastered with HUD elements and quest markers. The way the game naturally leads you towards places of interest feels so refreshing compared to most open world games.
I do hope Sony has a task force trying to figure out a solution for their PSN-on-PC problem, I'm sure they'd also like the money from these players.
I'm ready to have another wave of goosebumps in "The Ghost of Yarikawa" quest.
With those volumes up, it makes me really wish i was ronin within those time 😌
just dipping my toes into pc gaming, i loved this game on console and im super excited to play it on my new pc!
This aspect ratio is goddamn AWESOME to watch on mobile. I wish everybody did this. Top notch content as always!
Thanks for mentioning the standoff bug. It happens so frequently for me that I've just stopped doing standoffs. Kind of a bummer, since they're a really cool idea imo.
Thanks for the ultra wide footage guys.
My favorite game of all time. One of two games to make me cry.
Soon as this game goes on sale, I’m getting it. Blasted through it inside a week on ps4 when it came out, and loved it. Fantastic game.
You know I bought this on release for the Ps4 and only played like 10 mins of it because I wanted it for pc so bad. And now I can finally play it in all its glory.
