i already fell to the first mistake become that 99% people, just because i don't need to equip that charm as my resources quite full
The thing I love about Arktix’s videos….theres no super long unnecessary intro animation at the beginning that all RUclipsrs add to their videos that we just fast forward ahead of anyway. Just straight into the content (Rant over)

Got a few more tips:
1. You can destroy cages or doors by attacking them. Much faster than just opening them.
2. Rolling doesn't produce any noise, just like crouching.
3. Some dialogues may change depending on your quest progress.
4. The ending will give you different dye for Ghost armor depending on the choice you make. You can get both dyes in a single playthrough by choosing to abandon tale after the credits and picking the other choice.
all of these except for number 3 are obvious and known by most players
Number 1 is also possible by using bow and arrow on the lock.

That fucking silk farm is amazing. Also there’s several other hidden resource caches like the one by the shrine on the shore.
Why would you even need a silk farm??? By the end of the game you have more than you need. Just play the game. You don't need to max upgrade everything IMMEDIATELY

Welp...I completed the quest near the silk farm...apparently it breaks the infinite farm
Instead of selling bamboo predator hides is a way better choice you can actually farm infinite predator hides by killing two bears at a Mongol camp
- Outfit loadout also remembers the cosmetics for your sword, bows and horse.
- Secret stashes of resources like the one you mentioned from Act II exist all over the game, including Act I, in out of the way places.
About the game being a bit too dark at night, I find that can be true during the day as well, when going inside of buildings.

You can get enough silk to fully upgrade all armor sets in a new playthrough if you do all of the character tales (Ishikawa, Masako, Yuna, Kenji, and Norio). You have to farm silk to upgrade all the armor sets in new game plus though.

@@katzarkul that too. At the time, I hadn’t completed New Game+ so I didn’t know if I would have enough ghost flowers after buying all the other things in his shop.
I think the best charm is the charm of versatile skills. You can get it from zasho river crossing on Ike island. It doubles the effect of your minor charms, including inaris might.
Yup I mentioned that. It actually comes from getting max legend level on Iki.
It is videos like yours that make me want to play a game again.

I'm watching a youtuber play Ghost of Tsushima. People in the comment section are saying to avoid doing the DLC until AFTER the main story. They say it spoils the main story. Of course it doesn't and they try to tell me I'm wrong for suggesting to do the DLC before the end of Act 2. I'm so glad I did the DLC at that time.

DISCLAIMER: The infinite silk and leather glitch does not work if you have completed the ghost forest quest. To be specific the glitch doesn't fail, there's just no more silk and leather anymore if you've completed the quest

What a dream. Finally I have time again to play videogames. Played Zero Dawn. After that Forbidden West. And this is when I found Arktix and his amazing content. Now I almost finished HFW and I‘m about to start Ghost of Tsushima. And just in time Arktix starts with creating content. Thank you for the amazing content

First time ever playing the game. I just discovered the white dye merchant. Didn’t even know there would be a black one. Thank you
I'd add that haikus are also permanently item text for the headbands you get from them so pick carefully if you mind, but this text disappears or is reset on new game +. Also that in the final mission there's a choice, in the killing choice, you get a cool armour dye but a house in a swamp, whereas choosing to spare, you get a slightly less cool armour dye but a nice house near a shrine. Kill on first playthrough, spare on new game + for both dyes and nice house. Also in the side quest "Impact of Loss" on Iki, choose to save the monk.

Also quick tip when it comes to running without stopping. If you press the touchpad to go into enhanced hearing but start sprinting immediately after you’ll keep running without stopping and it resets how long you can go. If done successfully your screen will go grey for a split second while running
3:30 Its possible to get it all in one playthrough. Did it on hard, had generally everything before the DLC and Final boss.

There's stuff you can't get unless you play a new game+
There's a new vendor that has gear and charms you can't get unless you play thru again. Some of these charms are incredibly useful too.
Figured out the dodge to continue sprinting recently. Another near thing is instant sheath by flicking bow aim. Also cancelling any combo at any point by tapping block and beginning something else xD
11:31 i believe playing certain flute songs changers the weather and time of day if i remember correctly. That and there should be some variables u can change when u go into photo mode. Time of day being one of them

This game has one of the best open-world UI; you can really explore the world without getting lost and without intrusive icons telling you where everything is. I wish more open-world games followed this example of using natural hints that feel part of the world.

What would be very nice to have in this game is haptic feedback from the triggers
It has Haptic Feedback but only for using the grappling hook to pull down some Bamboo walls that hide secret entrances. you first use it on Iki I believe. Also the Bow has a mild amount of haptic feedback but on PC the dualsense must be wired.

You can upgrade everything well before a full playthru by doing iki island. I like to do it as soon as act 2 opens up for the mats, horse armor and imo the best armor set in the game

Not sure if you know this but there is also a way to inifinitely farm predator hides in a mongol camp in act 1 (Rush Water Crossing).
Just be sure NOT to kill all the enemies and liberate the camp so that the 2 bears will spawn everytime you restart on last checkpoint. You can get like 10-20 hides per restart.
This what I use to sell it to the trapper for supplies. 500 hides = 5000 supplies.

Poison arrow build
The infinite arrow recycling build
The fire Sword induce terror build
The tank build
The low HP, high damage build
High Resolve recharge build.

i read somewhere that the more ghost-y you became the more frequent the stormy weather but you can always use the flute.
Also, there are a couple of those treasure stashes, one is by the sibling rocks. There’s a note from a dead guy on the cliff saying he found a way down the rocks. Go down the left side of the cliff, and follow the path down, and it will lead you to a stash.

My current playthrough, which is my second, is on lethal yeah. The first time I played I started on hard and then switched to lethal.
The “spoiler” in start of iki is just Jin trying to intimidate Jin he also says there’s a whole army of samurai there and well there isn’t
Surely the spoiler is that he tells the Eagle he killed Khotun Khan, which obviously happens if you complete the main game before traveling to Iki.
If we venture to Iki earlier, say just into Act II, we obviously haven't killed Khotun yet. This is easily reconciled by pretending we're bluffing the Eagle.
Regarding the samurais Jin claims are coming to Iki, that's an actual bluff.
@@theoldhenk7531no it’s just a bluff when you play it later sure it makes sense but before in act 2 he’s just trying to intimidate the eagle to let him go and to surrender
Sarugami armor is a must have.
The weather turns dark, cloudy, and stormy when you are using ghost weapons(fight like a ninja)
When you fight with honor( like true samurai) weather stays sunny

I actually learned a lot from this video. Never knew about the blade trick to cross rivers or light grass on fire. Like, how do people find this stuff out?
Lighting grass on fire is mentioned in Sensei Ishikawa's 4 out of 9 quest when you are holding a Cliffside position against oncoming Mongols. Ishikawa and Jin discuss luring Mongols into the tall grass and lighting it ablaze, and that's when Sensei Ishikawa gives the player fire arrows
Great video. Is there anyway to increase the camera sensitivity? I put it at its highest and even put the drift compensation option and it’s still not that high.
Thank you! Unfortunately, I don’t think you can make the camera move any faster. I’d also like it a bit faster, but I don’t think there’s a way to do it on PlayStation. On PC it would all depend on how fast you move your mouse of course.
FYI, if you do the side quest "Whispers in the woods", the silk spawn disappears. Is the quest in which you have to kill some bandits that are exactly in that camp (3:35). So, for now I'm skipping that quest because that silk farming method is awesome.

well that settles it, I'm heading to the island. My first time through the game and I just hit ACT 2 after doing all the side quests in act 1 and now will journey to the island to unlock more goodness
TFW you commented a fun combat tip on the previous Ghost of Tsushima video, and then it's THE VERY FIRST TIP mentioned in this video. And it's also mentioned AGAIN at the end of the video.
Also, I can confirm from experience that as long as you do all the side quests and clear out all the Mongol camps and stuff, it is entirely possible to fully upgrade not just your armors, but all your gear, in one playthrough. Same with unlocking all the skills.

I finished my first ever playthrough and I have everything. Every Armour, Weapon, Throwable, Upgrades, etc.
Ok, I missed out on the silk exploit. Thank you for showing me this, I think I will restart my game to not have to force myself to finish the game 3 times just to upgrade all my armors up to the highest level.
The biggest tip before any of the loot parts in your video would be to get The Charm Of Inari. You should've mentioned that first before anything else. This charm more than doubles nearly everything you loot and can be obtained within the first act of the game. Do NOT miss this

If you on pc and ever have a problem that your pad starts vibrating when you shoot the bow and it turns off you might start doing circles or your camera starts spinning just turn off the vibration in pad settings
I already looted that silk area in Yagata forest when i did the side mission. Is there another location i can farm silk at?

The first tip you presented was actually taught to you by Ishikawa in a mission where you had to ambush Mongols in a road filled with grass, explosives, and beehives.
The games weather actually changes depending how “honorable” you play if you do a lot of standoffs and killing with your sword or bow you get less if you play more as the ghost it get stormy but yes I change the weather back too usually. That being said once I got the fog song i went full ghost most playing it before I would invade a camp kinda like an omen

the loadout is top tier
3:23 nah, there is enough silk. At least in the directors cut. You can fully upgrade all of your armor just by doing all the quests in the base game. To get level 5 on all armor in NG+, you need to do all the quests again, and buy all of the silk off of Baku the Voiceless.
So the amount of silk in the game is EXACTLY how much you need to fully upgrade all your armor. But I did not know about that silk trick which is really cool! Just remember me in case they patch it 😁
While a good tip for the silk, I’m not sure about the whole point of it being impossible have enough silk to fully upgrade all your armor in one playthrough. Through doing most side missions early on and grinding, I was able to upgrade all my armor to max before going to Iki Island in the end game. Not sure if it was just my luck, but I think most side missions or main story missions will reward you with it.
I got all armour upgrades on 1 playthrough and had silk to spare. Did a 100% though

When you are first given the fire arrows, you are told about being able to shoot the grass to catch it and enemies inside it on fire
I discovered the silk location before knowing this trick exists.. Any idea where I can find other campsite that has silk?
tips!! when you ride a horse and jump down high enough, usually you will fall with your horse and take long animation to get up. but you can skip that by pushing jump button right before horses feet touch the ground.😊

with or without the Parry charm i didnt notice a difference at all. Im sure its a backend thing that kind of cheats the mechanic timing or something but in actual game it feels pointless. I wish it would slow down time for 1 second to perfect parry.

I Managed To Get Enough Silk In My First Play through To Upgrade Everything Except ONE Before Going To Iki Island
Actually if you run the Inari charm you cannot only get enough loot for all armor upgrades in one run but for everything.
You honestly don’t even need to turn on range fire indicator. As soon as you hear the mongols tell that distinct yell just dodge. You don’t need to know where they are. And you’ll see which way the arrow came from so you know where they are.
I haven't finished the video yet but you gotta tell me where you get that white skin for the Traveller's Attire!!!
