- Spec E30 was slow, but offline, which was fine. Spec E46 decided to brake in the middle of the track for seemingly no reason and I wasn't comfortable shooting the gap with 50 mph closing speed so I checked up. Just as the E46 moved over and made it clear they were aware we were there, my competitor already had a run on me and passed us all to secure third place. My assumption is the E46 just got confused as to why the E30 was slow and didn't want to pass under yellow or something.
Bad luck. I don't blame you for letting up nor do I blame the other driver for shooting the gap. Sometimes other driver's odd behavior is a great indicator of an upcoming incident or something. Sucks that you got got like that.
Fancy seeing you here.
@@teamgsracing what in tarnation!
It's ok not to trust drivers on the track and be cautious, it's amateur racing after all, some series run the rules of local yellows apply until the next flag stand has a green flag, some say it's green once you are past the incident, it's not always entirely clear what they determine as "past the incident" since you don't know if more cars were involved.
I thought the exact same thing. I think the car parked on the right made the amateurs think it was a yellow and didn't want to get penalized. Not really safe for a car to be parked there, but at least it's not in a place where cars could go off and crash right into it...
there was a huge hole there for you, not trusting those around you is of course a problem, but it appears they left ample room
Definitely better to be overly cautious than to risk your car in this situation.
Lot of arm chair racers in here.
You and car are whole, get em' next time 👍
OMG. "Why" indeed. 🙄 Great bit of patience there. Well done.
damn thats crazy, id be tweaking out
Handled well sir.
There was a gap. Shoulda gone for it
Well, he's ahead of you now. No balls.
Why? Ballz.
Why what??? 🤷♂️
the two cars slowed down abruptly in the middle of a straight for no apparent reason, caused him to correct for safety which led to him being overtaken, the two cars speed up afterwards, clearly thats what he means
@@guts1141oh ok… that makes sense… no more sketchy than some of my very sketchy race mates!!!! 👍🤣
If this was a race, Why Not?
If it was warm ups probably not.
Sloppy as fuck. Thanks
Thats Racing.....You shoulldn`t have checked up if under Racing conditions..........always wait for the Marshals to wave a Flag......Your mistake , no one else`s
"If you no longer go for the gap that exists..........
Because nice drivers finish last. Should've kept going
and wrecked race cars don't finish at all. I'll go door to door with people that are clearly aware of their surroundings, not going to let some arrive and drive SE46 take me and my home built race car out for an entire season.
@@TaylorGoesFast yeah. So true. I was thinking of the cars in front, not behind. Yeah. If you passed, the guy behind might have tried to squeeze in and took everyone out.
@@MonkeyMD3 I trusted the car behind me. I did not trust the two cars up front doing who knows what. The E30 probably had a mechanical, the E46 was just an unknown dangerous rolling road block.
@@TaylorGoesFast Did the car that shot the gap get wrecked? No? The original comment stands.
Lol
