The front wheels hold up fine. They are designed to be small to make less indentation in the grass when cutting unlike normal wheels which will leave a wide indentation when cutting
Plus it really only dedicated mulchers that have a high height of cut.
I use "troy built 21 , honda moter". Push, not self propelled, super light..👍👍
Troy built only in the States? Would really want a self propelled one I think. Thanks for watching 👍
Mulching - make's a helluva mess of the mower and I am not sure if it encourages moss, I prefer side discharge with a cut down discharge chute, my weibang throws it way out so it's spread nicely
A good side discharge can really spread the grass 👌 was after a mulching mower for those months when it's dry and grows less if that ever happens again, rained all this year 🙄
If only battery kit could cut the mustard with the mulching situation in the wet and deal with the access aswell, with out spending a trillion on batteries,I'll probably be sitting in piss in a nursing home by then.great content tho.
I'll be well gone by then too😅 something will work I'm sure. Cheers mate👍
Try the Grin it might make you Smile
🤣 doubt it 🤣🤣
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd OK try the Gin
Grin mowers
They keep being mentioned for sure👍👍
I use a McCulloch, very nice.
Interesting, does it do well on anything slightly wet/ long? Cheers 👍
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd Not sure of exact model has Honda engine. Use it at a place I work at every fortnight has struggled if it’s very wet grass but that’s only problem. The lawns are big do about 18000 steps when doing them . Gets put away go back in a fortnight and it starts. Front wheel drive . Worth a punt if you can get one at right price.
Come do my yard, Plymouth, Mass. U.S. 😂😂😂
Plymouth England would probably be too far for me but mass sounds more inviting for sure😅👌👍
😂 I've made a mulching video today 🤠🤠🤠🤠
Will check that out... weibang?
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd it is with the weeeeebang🤠
I mulch loads mate and am still yet to find the perfect mower, I've ruled out, Grin, AS and weibang and FWD ones due to various feature i dont like. Currently mainly using the little honda mulcher and enjoy it, even with its flaws. prob gona get a hrx537 this year as well as it ticks alot of boxes with what i need and want. Oh and try taking that top blade off on your setup, and just run the one bottom mulching blade, ive found it better in some cases for some reason.
Good to know you've tried a few and still looking, recon the 537 any good for it? Will try with that blade out and let you know. Cheers mate 👍👍
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd It would be that or the weibang for me. Yeh 537 is good, its light, got a powerful enough engine and there is loads of different blade setups you can use. Also got bagging if needed.👍
i find mulching dosent work here in the uk more in the states where the grass is different thicker turf not a carpet like our lawns where there thinner you cant hide the clipping in the lawn
Yea I think early and late in the season mulching will be a struggle. Definitely different grass in the States and easier to mulch/ discharge and lose. Cheers 👍
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd yeah only in the summer time when not much growing grounds hard and the grass a floating dust also find an old grass bag take the bottom out of it customer thinks your bagging it
Ive got a Toro recycler, can't fault it. A Honda HRS 536 vk, can't fault it. And a Husqvarna LB553S, can't fault it!
Which would you pick top for average in and out lawns?
use the back pack blower blow excess grass in hedge maybe
Sounds time consuming, probably just box it off it came to that👍👍
Weibang hands down
They have any issues? Which model, the dedicated mulcher? Cheers 👍
toro recycler
Seems a popular choice 👍
