I have sold over 15,000 items over the years on eBay but 5 minutes watching your video has saved me hours of work. PhotoRoom would have to be the best time saving app I have ever had the pleasure of using. I spent thousands on a photography course and photography gear to take stock photos and now all I use is my Samsung phone and PhotoRoom and it's so easy and professional looking. Can't believe it. Thank YOU!!
This video is great, I'm a buyer of cloths for Men, Woman and Children photos are amazing because they present a visual of the item. I have not used any of the selling platforms however will consider many with activity who do you strongly recommend for new items.
Good information, thank you for all the tips on selling clothes, it make a lot of sense to have all the information right at hand. It SAVES a lot of time.
Can you do a video on how you package apparel and what products you use to ship. Also where you buy your supplies. This video was so helpful. Thank you 😊
very helpful info, thanks lady! ive watched other videos you have done in the past, and i appreciate your willlingness to help out a newer resellar:) and you have a good vibe:) keep the content coming!
Ok Sorry but I have to chime in with my 2 cents. You are lucky to have 1. such color wall AND natural lighting that provide you just enough light to show colors of the clothing as they are, and not distorted by either lack of light, or excessive light. Lucky you. I never came across someone who don't use photography lights.
I disagree. It’s not actually luck, but thoughtful placement and photography experience. I did this same trick in four different rentals/homes. I just looked for a big window, and hung a command hook on the wall next to it and made sure not to put anything in that space so I could take pictures there. Sometimes I was lucky to have a seperate room, but I also did this in a 750ft rentals living room as well. I purposely took pictures and this video during the time of day with the best natural lighting. Sometimes that would be in the morning before I went to work a full time job or on weekend afternoons. I didn’t “luck” into any part of this 🤷🏼♀️. The white board can be used against any background if you have wallpaper or carpet and is available at dollar tree.
For one instance, I have no empty neutral colored wall for starters. There are either entry door, or closet doors, or windows, or pieces of furniture. I have family where family members have their bedrooms, and only one available spare bedroom room that is painted deep bluish green, and have one 5.,5 x 2' window, with a large evergreen cedar tree almost touching it. In rentals walls usually painted light neutral colors - speaking from a former landlord experience, when we would not allow tenants to repaint the walls. Lucky you ))) Just got my lights finally LOL Good luck anyways, and happy selling.
Hi! I've never used one simply because I haven't found one that was affordable and that seemed like it would make a big enough impact in my pictures. I think it definitely could be beneficial for some people, but keep in mind it may take longer to get the clothes on and off the mannequin. I've only taken pictures of myself in clothes that needed a little more than just hanging on the wall, and they sold in a normal amount of time. Honestly, as long as you are taking pictures in good lighting with a clean background anything can work!
@@sewmuch2wear Thank you so much and you are right I started with a mannequin is time consuming I'm doing what you doing at the moment and I take photos only if needed ,I love your videos I just found you recently ,I need to be more organised with where I put clothes to find them fast and easy .
Thank you SOOOOO much for the info you provided! I'm so appreciative! I lost 130 lbs and have practically an entire wardrobe of clothing to get rid of. I've been playing with some ideas but this video is what I needed. Straight to the point! I did subscribe to your channel (✿^‿^) 1 question though; I have some expensive jeans (Diane Gilman) they range appx $65 and up. I don't know how to price them... I can't ask for full price as they're used but I'm not sure how to price them. Any suggestions (other than the one you mentioned in your video)? Thanks in advance (◍•ᴗ•◍)
I hate when people measure the bust legth and garment length. Useless information for how something fits on your body. Inseam on pants? Helpful. Bust measurements on different fabrics/fits/styles...garbage
What is your favorite photography hack to sell clothes online quickly?

How do you take photos of your measurements? While hanging?
I was wondering the same thing
I was wondering too 😂
Did she ever respond to this? Curious too
Maybe a tripod with timer set?
this is so practical and helpful, thank you!
This is such a good video. I absolutely love it, and I am subscribing. I sell a lot of things online, but I want to step up my game and do it right.

Yes! Much faster than having to go back and check a measurement or fabric content for a potential buyer with a question.

When i click pics of black clothes they come out to be bluish in colour.what to do
You can adjust the brightness on your phone before taking the photo. Or adjust the shadows and highlights.

Thank you for the info! How do you mail shoes if you don’t have the original box?
Thanks for the greatest advice ever 🌹
Great video, thank you! I do wish Photo Room still had a free version but they do not. Only a free 1 wk trial and then $4 a wk. 🤔
Thanks for this!
This is the most budget friendly video I’ve seen. Thanks for the tips! ❤
Steam cycle in the dryer = lifesaver
If you don't have a steam cycle...throwing a wet towel (wring it out) in dryer with the wrinkled items is a lifesaver..
Learned so much! Thank you!

Great Info…Thank You. Would love one on shipping on ship station versus Mercari.
Thanks I'm learning so much I want to sale
Hi! I assume you take pictures of the measurements laying flat
Thank you so much what are you thoughts on using a mannequin ? and taking photos of yourself wearing the clothes to sell.

I don't understand how you are taking pictures of the measurements...isn't shown...do you have 3 arms???
She takes a picture to remind herself when writing in the description or she includes the picture itself in the listing
@@EmWes I mean physically how she is taking them, not why.
It's so pretty and the bleach spots tie it all together❤
Thank you for the great information ⚜️💗⚜️ I have checked “Photo Room” & they offer “Photo Room Pro” (3 days free only) ☹️
Yes, I just use the free version. I don't mind the logo they put onto the pictures and I only use a white background.
@@sewmuch2wear I don't see any option to use this app without paying. Can you give more detail?
Great video - learnt so much - Thanks!
Sooo useful tips❤️❤️
Great video. Thank you 😘
Thank you! Very doable, practical tips.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Great info thanks
Very good video
Can you do one for children clothing.
Thank you so much
Very informative
😊
You dont show how you take a photo holding the tape - thats why most resellers have a board to lay garment and measurement tool on

Ok. Ok but how did you lose the weight? I neednto lose about 75 lbs. Covid wrecked my body..:(
Really wished you had shown how you take your measurement photos 😑
You could probably tape the ends of the measuring tape to the wall -

I must protest: There are probably a lot of really creepy dudes out there that would LOVE to buy stuff photoed on a bathroom floor. 😑
She said "unless you're selling to a shoe fetish person!".... 😅😅😅
