Very nice review, and I agree on all points. I am that single-player offline guy, so AMS2 is my sim of choice. I wish to try rF2 AI as you favorited that in the video, but I can't get through setting up this sim. Its UI, content management, and settings are like a bumpy road to me, so I always lose motivation.
This game is still dodgey, even now with the latest update. The AI just doesn't look right on track and it does some very strange stuff. Had a race at LeMans in the wet with the GT1s. The AI just ran nose to tail in pooring rain. Totally unrealistic. I blame it on the poor Madness engine. Nice graphics, pretty poor everything else. ACC still rules for realistic racing.

Another enjoyable video. I love AMS2. I've given away 22 copies😂
You tell them Stu 😎
The only thing that feels a bit off for me is the traction control. TC at the highest setting still has too much slip for my taste.
top sim keep racing on it!!
your pitstop problem is most likely that they put a minimum change of tyres in the rules. You can see that before you start the race.

All ffb but wonky physics. No connection to the road on straights.
