That's good. I don't hate anybody playing EA WRC, That's not the message that I'm trying to get across. EA WRC is good on its own merit. I just think that its a massive step back to DR 2.0 in terms of graphics and handling. I'm glad your having a better time then me with EA WRC nonetheless friend

The gameplay itself shows what you're in for if you choose to buy it! 🤷 I don't know what part of the world you live in where RF2 costs 150 of your currency. But where I live, it only costs 30 euro. @@sbsimulators6913 Hmm. Well you have some good points but, over here in Australia, Steams price is $48; for the base game. What you get for that base game is the point I'm trying to make. You do not get a car. You have to buy one. Also the tracks you get are crap. At least on Iracing you can start driving. For me to get started with what I already drive in other Sims I had to spend $160. And that was for no cars... I don't understand how knowbody talks about that. You all waffle on about how good it is.. but know body talks on the costs.. I race Raceroom, WRC, AC, AMS2, DR2, and iRacing. Soni understand spending money but I have found that Rfactor 2 is on the bottom of the pile for value. I'm just lucky the my Steam account offers refunds. I am not just pint ING at your channel, I am stating this about most content creators. They seem to avoid wanting anything that will upset the apple cart..

@@makavelisreturn86 Well buddy I believe I can answer that question. Get Dirt 2.0 while you can. You will have a much better time with the force feedback on your Moza Wheelbase than on Ea Wrc. Not only that but Dirt 2.0 is much better looking graphically and the GOTY version is 10 euro cheaper then EA WRC itself 😊

​​@@makavelisreturn86 EA WRC does actually look better than Dirt Rally 2 overall. Stages are MUCH longer and interesting, changing weather, better draw distances, amazing dustrails. This is from someone who used to think Dirt Rally 2 was better.

@@Not_Lewis In fairness, I can't be too harsh with BATC as it is still early access. So far I have only had that issue at Gatwick. I'm yet to test it at other airports. Luckily though as I said in my video, I can just take the star out of my Flight plan and just be vectored in instead

lol I platinumed WRC Generations on PS. the game is ok, but the physics off tarmac were still terrible and it had tons of bugs.

I'd say you should be able to run the Sim on high settings at least Go to this part of the video 6:04

Haha is actually the opposite. Wrc generations handling is top notch. EA arcady and a very poor videogame generated stage design. Huge step back from the previous WRC games.

Same here, I have a GTX1660TI and I get that issue as well. The only comprimise I can think of is turning down the graphics slightly. Other then that I still love RF2 regardless

@@teggsy2165 Well if you watched my honest review on this game. (Which I'm guessing you didn't) I mentioned that I bought it based on a friend's recommendation. So I decided to give it a chance despite the reviews at the time of purchase. And yes I do own DR2 which I said in there that I still prefer that over WRC

@@DamagedBrain24 Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I was trying to keep the volume balanced so the viewer will be able to still hear the car noises. It's just so it's easy for them to judge when looking at the gameplay in the background

@@sbsimulators6913 its just broken i was in forums and viewed a lot of videos about ai, and rolling back isnt an option for such a game

@@erikanygma4524 If you have steam, do the following 1. Right click on RF2 in your library 2. Click on properties 3. Click on the update tab 4. Then click on versions and there should be an option to roll back

I mean, sure, I like to drive some rallies in RBR. But, if you don't have time to practice you'll be far behind top guys. Still, games are just fun for most of us. You can't play even a simple form of career in RBR. And that's fine, it's just not everyone's cup of tea.

They just added more grip. I found it terrible. And also using replay in slow mo I had visual confirmation cars are still rotating on central pivot point when turning (even in slight curved straights road you can see rotating in a weird way)

​@@TheMash84No, they added proper car weight... The car doesn't slide infinitely like in DR 2.0.. EA WRC is massive upgrade but people don't want better handling.. They just pretend they do... Go watch an actual WRC Rally event and see how much grip these monsters have... EA WRC is the closest to reality... But online bonobo monkeys judge the driving physics without ever watching the real thing...

Truly sad indeed. If the game was only 25 to 30 euro then maybe it might not be as bad as it is now. Thank god for DR 2.0 and most importantly RBR with the rallysimfans plugin

Wow, quite a lot you got off your chest there buddy. In all seriousness, I'm sorry to hear that you weren't treated well by Codemasters only for them to end up banning you. No company (AAA and indie) should be immune to constructive feedback. What they did was very scummy indeed. Please don't take the video as me fanboying over Codemasters or anything. I was really just let down by Codemasters and EA when they released EA'S WRC. Glad to hear there was a happy ending to your story at least with getting to beta test for Reiza. I did a review on AMS2 which I came out and praised that game to. Either way thanks for making me aware of this. I'll keep that in mind if I review another game from Codies

@@sbsimulators6913 Nah everybody has their own experiences and opinions. The world would be boring if we didn't. Though it's always well worth doing some serious digging into history, especially when it comes to showing such falls from grace. CM went from beating Fifa, PES & Madden NFL for the best sports game BAFTA (not racing game but sports game) in 2008 for race driver grid to begging for votes in a non important category in just 10 years and losing. What really irks me is the general acceptance that this is the new normal and it's unlikely to change unless people vote with their wallets, Codies learned this far too late and their sellout was timed to perfection. The shareholders weee mislead for years about the state of play and EA got robbed (makes a change from them robbing customers). Net result was they fired Ian Bell for the atrocious PCars 3 (2nd time EA have fired him), closely followed out the door by Codies CEO & CFO, and the closure of Slightly Mad Studios when Ian Bell raided their pool of developers to work on his new project calked GTR Revival.

@@SRS13Rastus Well given the current landscape of AAA gaming. I'm not surprised that even Codies have gone down the same path as Ubisoft And EA. How the mighty have fallen. It's no wonder really why gamers (at least the smart ones like you and me) are voting with their wallets now.

@@sbsimulators6913 Very true... Haven't bought a CM game since 2019, GAS cost me £54.99 and played 1200 hours £0.045 per hour... GRID 2019 cost £64.99, 475 hours before it got binned £0.13 per hour. Haven't bought an EA game since 2013, BF4, £96 played less than 30 hours, £3.20 per hour. AMS2 bought April 2020, £85.68, 2,466 hours played. £0.03 per hour played and falling...

@@sbsimulators6913 good basis, but bad decisions on developing: completely useless Rally pass, arcade driving to attract casuals, no new cars, no new locations, not even liveries! Hell, even the livery editor sucks so we have to buy the pass. Remember the player base survey they made a couple of months ago? Completely ignored lmao

Just giving my honest opinion at the time of recording the video, wasn't over-hyping anything. I even mentioned the game up until recently, has stuttering issues on various stages

Well fortunately a patch update was released fixing the stuttering for me, just shortly after the video went up
