#simracing #easportswrc #rallying See pined comment Well, as promised, I will find out weather or not EA's WRC has improved since i reviewed it in December
Hey everyone Just leaving a comment to let you all know that codemasters have released version 1.7.0 of this game. I can happily say that my stuttering performance is now at a minimul for me. Playing this on medium graphics with fps cap set 120 and texture filtering set to performance in Nvidia control panel seems to be working for me.
Somebody mentioned in the comments that it might be a few updates to the firmware of my Moza wheelbase which could have been why I was feeling a difference. Still I like the game more then I did at launch
@@sbsimulators6913 hey, that's great! I was not bashing you at all btw. I too thought the game was handling weird at launch but there was a bug that turned on assist even if you had them disabled. This massively affected the handling.
I recently returned to EA WRC yesterday after quitting the game last November and the improves are very satisfactory. I feel quite immersed. RBR Sim Fans will still be king, but it's definitely hard to beat the sounds of EA WRC.
@@RST9413it honestly doesn't look good at all. If the performance was smooth. Sometimes the cars even look rough in the sort of garage / menu screen 🙈
I just went and did the same Vitova stage + same Puma Rally 1 car as yours and I don't have any stuttering. I already have my FPS limited in Nvidia control panel long ago due to my freesync monitor so maybe that's why I didn't have stuttering issues. I did turn down the car reflection and mirror settings down to medium and have DLSS on at quality with 60 sharpness.
Might be just me then so. Just for further context. I'm on a GTX 1660TI GPU along with an AMD ryzen 7 cou. I'll keep on tweaking it until the stuttering is resolved for me
@@sbsimulators6913I'm on a RTX 2070 Super GPU with a Ryzen 5 3600. I also tweaked my settings further after reading suggestions online. I had owned Dirt Rally and 2.0 as well as WRC 7 9 10 and Generations so I have pretty high expectations for this game, and as we know it's release state is pretty crappy. While my stutter is not as bad as the ones I've seen others had it's still enough to dissuade me from getting the game. Then in the recent Steam Spring Sale, the game is on 60% discount, so I was tempted and gave in. I bought it but didn't put much time in it because I was busy with another game (Cyberpunk 2077) until now. I ran it with all settings at high at first, the game runs far better than my experience in the launch days but it's not as smooth as I liked it. Now after tweaking the settings, it's still not 100% buttery smooth, but is playable 98% of the time. I did some stages in Monte Carlo, Japan, Central Europe, Oceania, Portugal, Italy and the game is very playable. While the game doesn't look that great compared to Dirt Rally 2.0, which is the benchmark of modern rally games. It beats the WRC games by KT Racing hands down in terms of the sound department. The car modelling is also far better compared to KT racing's WRC games. Take a look at the cars in WRC Generation in the showroom, the lighting is bad and the model looks flat, especially the older WRC cars like the Subaru Impreza.

more better?
For me at least I believe. I'm enjoying it more than I did at launch
This is a rally parody game that have nothing to do with the reality or sim. Go for RBR at least is much more better game with some mods and without spending a millions for production and false hype. Codemasters they never made any good sim game so far.
I think you need a therapist...
Shit dude, ur as bad as me 😅. Jimmer spoils us with his flawless stages 😂
In fairness though, I'm more of a circuit racer than a rally racer. 😂 Luckily though, I don't mind because I don't take rallying as seriously as circuit racing 😂
@@sbsimulators6913 I’d be better on a track myself sir. Just love a bitta sliding on gravel for the craic
@@rabmccudden683 Same here. I just like sliding the car around corners while rallying, especially FWD cars 😁
I'm on PS5 i haven't experienced any stutter
My game never stutters like urs
Good news now. A patch was released recently that fixed alot of my stuttering issues. It's still there, but it's fairly subtle now
I wonder if EA can do anything right ever?!?
Well I mean, as much as I hate them, they seem to have published a semi decent rally game. It's still plaguing with issues. But better then the usual slop I suppose
