    Best review I’ve seen so far on the M6! Most seem to be getting more out of this one vs the m5!

    I purchased a Taylormade M 6 Type D today. I then went to my golf course to try it out. I don't have a lot of swing speed . Mine has a senior flex shaft on it. Now I have not hit a 200 yard driver shot in some time. Today I took my first shot with the new driver and launched it 211 yards. I just took a medium strength swing and was very pleased and something else I noticed. I have had a ton of issues trying to control a shaft thats in the 45 inch length. Not this one though. Shots are very controllable. Cannot wait to get back out there again tomorrow.

    I hit the m5 the other day and absolutely loved it, and i loathed everything about the m3 and was not expecting much from the M5 /6 , it looks and feels so much better, In my opinion

    • @NovaScene
      @NovaScene 5 лет назад +1

      M5 is a huge step up in feel compared to the harsh hard feeling M3. But as I look at these reviews, M6 is delivering pretty much same performance then the M5 but without adjustable weights and a lot cheaper..

      NovaScene totally agree

    Really wanted to buy my first Tmade driver m6 or cobra f9 after playing cally for years but couldn't get either to work for me. Distance was no better than my epic and dispersion was terrible. Then i tried epic flash sub zero and was blown away again. Nothing close for me this year the flash will be the one to beat this year. I picked up 5mph ball speed and 9/10 yds extra distance with the flash. M6 looks great over the ball though with the matt crown

    As ever Mark a good review. Yes please, a vid explaining how increasing/decreasing the loft sleeve opens/closes the Face angle would be really useful. i.e. should you buy a Driver with a lower loft (and crank the loft up) to close the face or buy one with a higher loft and loft it down to open the face?

    I tried this driver along with the epic flash and the new cobra f9 driver, all good drivers for me I got the best numbers from the epic flash and the epic also had a better feel to it. So I ordered the new epic flash.

    Smooth swings and it still goes over 300 well done

    Hits the ball at 165 mph, DeChambeau hits it at 195, yet you are getting the same distance. Hmmm. These video golfers do a great injustice to all regular golfers. Adding 50 yards to every drive

    • @davidfletcher6836
      @davidfletcher6836 5 лет назад

      Nothing much in it, the only real difference I found was it sounded and felt different. It does look great behind the ball but I found it was no longer distance wise but dispersion was pretty good.

    • @jessewaddell5510
      @jessewaddell5510 5 лет назад

      @@davidfletcher6836 that doesnt necessarily surprise me. The original M2 was so good, hard to imagine improvements, but maybe on ball speed across the face. Centre hits all is probably equal.

    • @davidfletcher6836
      @davidfletcher6836 5 лет назад

      Jesse Waddell when I tried it on a gcquad I certainly wouldn't rush out to spend 400 quid as I really couldn't see where the gains in performance would be. Old m2 is still a great driver IMO.

    Great review again. If I swing at about 98mph what is a healthy spin number? Think I’m usually about 3000 normally.

  • @philliosr3615

    The biggest limitation with being fit for clubs is that places such as AG have limited options and try to fit you to whatever they have on the shelf. Which is often poor to awful!
    So many poorly fitted people out there because of AG

    • @philliosr3615
      @philliosr3615 5 лет назад

      I went in for a fitting today asking for a forgiving driver and he kept trying to put a g400 lst and an m5 in my hands. I don’t struggle with high spin. I struggle with low launch if anything.

    Hi Michael, could you do M6 vs F9 since they are so similiar in design? Really love how M6 looks like but seems like the F9 is delivering the best and most consistant ballspeeds for you. Thanks for the work you do, what ball do you use?

    • @NovaScene
      @NovaScene 5 лет назад

      When will you do M6 D-type? Would love to see you try to hit that with a delivery of a person that needs a Draw driver, thanks!

    At last a TM driver with a matt crown.... Ping have been doing it for years!!!
    You were getting low spin from a head with weight at the back. Almost counterintuitive..... Why is that? Please explain. Cherrs

    Could you review the fairway woods as well pls? I'm curious if the m5 titanium goes further than m6.

    • @raginasianinvasion
      @raginasianinvasion 5 лет назад

      The M6 is longer and straighter than the F9 for me. So your statement is not accurate. Your personal experience with the club does not reflect everyone else’s. Matter of fact the Epic flash and my TS2 is longer and straighter than the F9 as well with the Flash being the longest out of all of them.

    • @donnachalyons3904

      Michael got 322 yrds out of the F9 costing €399 here in Ireland, compared to €579 for M6 and 315 yrds.

    All the reviews on youtube so far show below average ball speed...

  • @thomasross1285
    @thomasross1285 5 лет назад +1

    Ball speed, show me smash factor at 1.45 & above. European tour player almost lost the Dubai using Callaway Flash driver. All over the course. Everybody on tour hits the ball at least 290-310 yds. Show me the fairway. Way too much tech for average player. Pay $600 to hit the ball in the trees or out of bounds.

    • @SuperYoda7
      @SuperYoda7 5 лет назад +1

      thomas ross yes but nowadays everyone hits it a bit further into the woods or OB... lol 😂
