    Great video ❤🎉
    FYI for the comment section, this car had Takeda Short Ram Intakes not Cold Air Intakes. You dont want short rams because they just suck up hot air from the engine bay.
    The stock air boxes on these cars are actually true Cold Air Intakes. If you cant get something better its best to leave stock or modify the stock air boxes for better engine response by eliminating all unnecessary vacuum lines.

      It was my son's car and I was doing the spark plugs to help him out and was on my birthday. Passenger side went smooth got to driver side and tube seal was leaking so he ran out got a set of valve cover gaskets and I did just the driver side because it was leaking. It was my birthday so was not trying to work even longer. Finally had a chance to finish it for him. Thanks for watching

    Appreciate this video you did. Others show removing coolant lines from TB and relieving fuel pressure.
    My issue is the plug seals are bad. After doing a spark plug change, 2 on passenger side were coated with oil. I bought new valve covers w/gaskets already installed from RockAuto.

      Btw, is there a reverse order in remove the intake bolts or can you just start removing any first?
      Also I read that there is a 2 step torque sequence process on the intake with install when it comes to ft lbs. What’s that about?

      Black oil under the valve cover is just black oil, now if it is sludge then that is a different story. If it runs then just start using engine oil adatives. Thank you for watching. Hit me up on Instagram if you have anymore questions.

    • @NutsandBoltswithTone
      @NutsandBoltswithTone  Год назад

      In the vehicle I did this job on the tube seals were serviceable but alot of Nissan and Infiniti valve covers the tube seals are not replaceable. The parts store will list them and sell them to you but they do not come out of the valve cover. Funny thing about this is that this is my sons car and I was helping him out replacing his spark plugs, only one tube seal leaked and it was bad, So I knew I needed to replace the seals before putting a new plug in. While I was removing the cover I sent him to get gaskets and a new valve cover because I know they are not removeable sometimes. He got lucky because his was. Thank you for watching.

    Yo buddy you can’t disconnect the throttle body electronics. It resets them and causes them to fuck up. If you’ve done this to the car, either get a professional tune or go to the dealership and get your car re tuned. Might be expensive but this is a very stupid mistake to make if you didn’t know. You’ll ruin your engine within 50,000km or less and sit there wondering what happened. Just because some random dude on youtube told you how to fix it doesn’t mean he’s right. Best of luck everyone. Hope everyone reads the comments before they do this. Literally so stupid that this is online you’re fucking over so many people who watch this man

    • @NutsandBoltswithTone
      @NutsandBoltswithTone  Год назад

      The ones on the outside keep oil from leaking out from around the valve cover, the ones on the inside keep oil out of the spark plug tubes. Yes you need to replace them, they can cause oil to leak on your plugs, then could cause misfire, check engine light and you will have to replace your plugs, possibly coils and fix the leak from valve cover. Thanks for watching.

      @@NutsandBoltswithTone ahh, after doing some hours of research, I’m not sure what purpose this video serves if the leak is within the tube seals themselves. Considering it’s possible to replace with some slight fabrication, I feel as if this video should of mentioned that, along with needing a whole new unit if you decide not go the fabrication route. However, these gaskets serve a purpose in keeping the oil from leaking out, so to be fair I should of understood that before hand.
