Thanks! It was wanting to run rich. Didn't really affect the power. So I left it. ESP really hooked up that head and piston. The lower end is four years old with the ESP head three years. Very reliable. That Olimat is what makes this truck IMO.I had a dominator on there a few years. This just looks right on it. Plus louder.
Nice rip. I've just found a new bash spot myself with some decent jumps do the uprated shocks make much of a difference on landings. The MT does jump really well and handles superb for such a big truck
Thanks man. I didn't think I woukd notice such a big difference using the piggyback shocks. Key is filling them when they arrive properly with your desired oil weight. But they definitely helped this truck. I am very hard on it. Lol
@@SteelCityRC thanks for the info you've got such great knowledge of this truck. I will rebuild stock shocks for now then upgrade to piggy back shocks at a later date
Hey what's up Alan. My name is Gorley. Most call me G or Gman. This spot is out in Bulger, Pa. I typically travel 30 minutes or so to spots. There is one killer spot out in Plum that I got harrassed at and haven't been back. But all the other spots on my channel I have zero issues at. One of my favorites is out in North Park near the pool.
@@SteelCityRC sounds good man. Let me know if you wanna run some time. You can put me on your channel if you happen to be filming, i dont care. I go pretty hard and have some over built stuff and i am not afraid to break it
Sup man! That truck started my 5th scale addiction lol. It is by far my favorite. Probably a bit too hard on it. But it generally takes it. Appreciate you stopping by 👊 🤘
Hey thanks! I have had this MT several years. The stock engine lost compression after six months. So I got a Zenoah g320 engine for in it. What an upgrade! Ran that for a year and then installed an ESP race ported head and piston kit on the g320 lower end. Has a Walbro 990 carb. Ditching the stock wheels helps performance too. I use DGI 1 inch wheel extenders made for the MT.
I got a MT and I did a little jump like that and it just stoped moving. The engine will still rev up it just won’t move. What could it be? It’s been sitting every since being that we don’t have many hobby shops here.
Hello. Sorry to hear that. It sounds like something may have come loose on your truck. Roll the truck by hand and watch all the shafts and gears. Good luck. Hope ya find it. When Ya do use blue loctite on all metal to metal screws. Thanks for stopping by!!
Hi I got a question maybe you can help me with I have a RedCat racing mtv3 with a DDM Dominator exhaust on it I have an issue with the carburetor when it's called it runs beautiful but when it warms up it just wants to bog when you give it gas has bogs and I've tried to adjust it but I cannot figure it out do you have any ideas I haven't bought went out and bought it obr carburetor for it and it's still doing the same thing I cannot figure out what it is
Hello. I have a good idea what is going on with your truck. The bogging is due to the fuel tank not venting properly. Clean the hole out in the cap and the rubber parts. Maybe even make the hole bigger in the cap. I actually tapped threads in the cap for a nipple to thread into. Then ziptied a short hose and one way dirtbike vent valve on the end. Mine used to do the same as yours till I vented the tank properly. An easy test is to take the cap loose then retighten. Then start it up and try it. Good luck
Hello. That truck I am using a belt system instead of gears. But it hasn't been available in years. To get better speed from a MT you can use Dunerunner gears. They will get better top speed. Thanks for stopping by 👊 🤘
Awesome one buddy
Thanks! Having fun in the sun. Appreciate you stopping by!!
@@SteelCityRC No problem
Nice man!👍
Thanks! Broke something though. I haven't had time to look. But something in the drivetrain
Cool RC and great bashing
Thanks man. Feels good to get it out!!
I will never forget giggling hysterically as you tore up the bashplex with a Rampage. 😁
Sup man. Been a minute since I last saw you. Funny you mention that day at the bashplex. I was just watching that video the other day. Good times.
@@SteelCityRC very good times👍👍👍 I think that was my 1st exposure to a real gasser rc.
Love that location. Truck sounds awesome.
Sup George! I just found it. Will venture to the other side next time. Be a bit of a hike for you. But I will let you know.
I Really enjoyed this video. Very cool!
Thanks Marion. Always fun getting the RC's out. Appreciate you watching!!
Really enjoyed that great rip bro
Thanks! New spot there. Looks pretty promising on the other side of the main road too.
Yea that baby runs great 👍🏼 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤯👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks! Running a bit fat. But it gets it pretty well.
Sweet run bro!

That thing really runs good G! I love that Oli too! I’ve always wanted one for myself.
