I have family down the road in English. The Kelly's and Adams from French Lick. My cousin Joe lives in Paoli. I was born in Birdseye and lived in Charlestown In. Until We moved to Tennessee in 1978.
Larry Bird's Childhood home is in French Lick. The French Lick Scenic Railway actually passes right by it. Larry Bird as an adult bought land in WEST Baden (it sounds like you keep calling it 'Baden' which is incorrect) as an adult and built the large home that has now been turned into a Bed & Breakfast type place with a good sized building that houses some musical shows at times and can be rented out for weddings and other banquets. The local school has even used it for prom.
