Mai ne atleast 6 barr practice start ki 2-3 months k liye fir give up kr liya 1 bar army camp mai bhi practice kiya tha 1 month k loye Sb se best tha mera 5:12 Abhi mera 4:30 hota agr mai ne continue kiya hota, mera stamina 0 tha, mai zyada se zyada 2 rounds running kr paa rha tha pehle pehle din, Pushup 4-8 Mgr aaj muja 10 days hogye phr se start krte huye, is barr mai give nhi kruga.. Mai 1600M aaj 5:55 mai nikal rha ho Aur 20pushups×3 Now i'm gonna follow your tips, i will see what would happen after a month.....

in easy words if u are running 5k right now increase your mileage 100-200 metres every next week... don't try to increase distance and speed immediately...u will see better results and will not be injured

if u want to decrease 5k timing ...run 8-10 km , 2 days in weak and follow speed work-out by Ankit bhai...rest on sunday...u will see improvement
