- Wrap your Tesla Model Y's pillar with our high-quality vinyl kit.
***NOTE: Installing indoors is highly recommended. This way you won't get debris underneath the vinyl. Recommended to install at 65°F - 75°F. If it's too hot, the vinyl can stretch too much as you're installing, and if too cold, the vinyl will be brittle and break easier.
• Easiest in the market to install
• Premium vinyl made with automotive-grade 3M material
• Tested and cut for a perfect fit
What's included:
• 3 piece pillar delete wrap kit
• Premium dual-sided squeegee

I bought the steal package on their website and was so excited to get the package, until I actually received it. I never felt so defeated and discouraged trying to install these. The long section seemed impossible to put on and every time I looked at the reference video it just infuriated me because I felt like an idiot while he seemingly put it on lol. I don't have any bubbles but what I do have is lines of the sheet stuck together especially on the top. I tried stretching those parts and to a certain extent it did come off but there's still a lot of other sections that aren't fixable. The look is great and would bring a lot of appeal to your car if put on right but its tough to put on.
I'm so sorry to hear this! Sometimes it takes a couple tries before getting it right. If you're interested in trying again, reach out to support@tesbros.com for a replacement piece(s). This video goes more in detail about the pillar delete install as well: ruclips.net/video/r5dO1Vf0E6k/видео.html
I’m on my third attempt also. The king section is for sure very challenging as the vinyl folds easily and if you don’t catch it instantly may as well start over with a new piece since the cold can’t be undone I tried cutting and patching with no luck either. It’s not expensive for the replacements thankfully. But if I can’t get it in the next two I got I’m probably gonna abort this project. I wrapped my Toyota highlander chrome delete 5 years ago and do t remember it bein this tough and those were smaller areas. Maybe just the bend on the pillar is something to get used to? Attempt 3 tomorrow after kids head out for the day. So I can take my time and just go section by section. P1/p3 we’re a breeze so at least I have that going for me lol….
Now I get it !
Glad you got it!
Hello tesbros! Thanks for making this video, any possible way to make another one showing us how to remove the upper window trim.
It's on our list!
I can't even put on a screen protector without getting bubbles. I have a less than zero % chance of making this look good!! LOL
My thought exactly.
It's a very different process. Vinyl has channels which allow you to push bubbles out. Also you can lift and reapply.
@@paulrobinson7970 so its easier than I think?
Let us know if you have any other questions! You can do it! :p
I tried this today on my white MY, would not recommend. The wrap is not wide enough to fit from in the gap above the window trim all the way up over the pillar amd down into the roof glass. Also, on the front windshield i can clearly see white showing through. The rear drivers side was so bad i had to try and use some black electrical tape so it didnt look silly until a replacement is sent.
Where is the pillar delete for refreshed model s? 😢
We don’t have one yet! I’ll pass this along to R&D team. If you have any other specific requests for things that we don’t currently sell, shoot us an email at support@tesbros.com so we can try to help you out
Will a wet install work with this adhesive. I just messed up both of the larger a pillar pieces... Im hoping to tey again once i get replacements.
I figured soapy water would make it much easier.
No a wet install won’t work with this material. Around the 14 min mark of this video we talk more in depth about how to install the A pillar. Hope this helps with your next install but let us know if you have any other questions -

Just tried this on my model Y. It’s not even close to do-able for a beginner. The long section is impossible. Never felt so defeated.
Sorry to hear that! Contact support@tesbros.com if we can help at all with a return or replacement. Also, happy to help if you have specific questions about install that could maybe make it easier for you. This video has a more detailed explanation on install if you're interested in trying again - ruclips.net/video/r5dO1Vf0E6k/видео.html Check out around 14:16 where the DIY Install is.
Do you have pictures of this blue tesla w/ pillar deletes? Was hoping the video will provide more overall pics but didnt see any...
We just uploaded some on the product page with the blue Model Y! tesbros.com/collections/model-y-accessories/products/pillar-delete
Don't have it on the website for model Y
Hey guys. I just Tried installing this and my D2 did not cover the back part of the panel. Please help!
Hey! Email support@tesbros.com and we'll take care of that issue
will it stick if my car is ceramic coated? i already purchased pillar delete and front bumper black out from you but haven't installed yet
Unfortunately, It won't install well since the vinyl won't adhere to the coating. Contact us at support@tesbros.com if you would like to return
Can you show us how to remove pillar delete ?
Our video on how to remove wraps should help: ruclips.net/video/zwP3wCG9r-4/видео.html Essentially, you would apply heat to the area and slowly peel it up.
Can I install this and then put ceramic coating on top of it?
Yes
How soon after Can the car be washed after install?
At least 24 hours, and highly encouraged to wash by hand (not an automatic wash)
I really wish they didn’t do this one a dark blue car. We need to be able to see details. Also they mention nothing about the top window seal that gets in the way. I do not recommend this product tbh. Just doesn’t line up and the cuts aren’t accurate with the 2021 curve of the pillars
We're very sorry to hear your experience with this product. If you reach out to support@tesbros.com, we'll be happy to help with this issue. Any photos or videos you can share with us would be super helpful to make sure we fix your pillar delete issue right away.
There are practical modifications, there are good looking modifications, and then there is this.
Hi Tesbros just ordered this pillar delete can’t wait to put it on . Do you have vinyl for the Mirror ?
Awesome! Check out this video if you want to try out the mirror wrap yourself. We currently don't have a DIY kit for the mirror. ruclips.net/video/MeyZOmHBR0s/видео.html And you can buy something like this - www.amazon.com/dp/B078X3W5H2 - 3M 2080 vinyl.
is the heat gun really necessary?
Yes if you need to reset the film. Also when you’re finished applying, going over it with a heat gun will really help it adhere into place. You can also use a hair dryer. This video explains more details - How to Black Out Your Tesla Model 3/Y Pillars - DIY vs Pro -
ruclips.net/video/r5dO1Vf0E6k/видео.html
What color matches the factory deletes? Thanks!
Satin black!
I just tried it, on some parts of the pillar it’s too narrow. I had zero overlap for the edges to tuck in. Waste of money.
The parts to place vinyl where it meets the trim on the trunk and hood section. I had enough vinyl to tuck in. Quite the opposite for the pillar
Edit: updated experience below
So sorry you're experiencing this issue. Reach out to us at support.tesbros.com and we can work on fixing this for you.
@@tesbros Thanks to Tesbros for making everything right. To anyone reading this. I did both pillars in 30 min with the new and revised updated pillar delete kit . The vinyl kit is now wide enough to cover the entire pillar.
Thank you so much 🙏
@@nevergone3424 glad we were able to make it right!
I tried to do this myself and ended up wasting one sticker. Now, I'm trying to find a professional to do the job... it's not as easy as it seems.
Tiago, sorry you had issues. If you reach out to our support team at support@tesbros.com, we'd be happy to provide extra pieces so you can give it another go. Let us know what you struggled with and we'll help you gain the confidence to do it again.
Sooooo, this actually doesn't delete the A-pillar where it counts, which is from _the inside,_ where the massive thicccccness of the pillar blocks peripheral vision?
Very very difficult to install, the product is too tight and the curve doesn't fit exactly. Probably good with a dark paint, but if you have a white car, you will sure see white along pillars, on one side or the other. Sent two emails to support without any answer. Do not recommend.
Did you email support@tesbros.com? We can't seem to locate your email. Make sure to send photos so we can help you with this issue better if you reach out again. Our support manager will be looking out for your message.

@@ericm140 Looks like we replied to you on July 3 at 10:24 am est. Could you check your spam folder to see if it got lost?
What an idiotic product, for teens obviously
For some strange reason, I feel like asking for a photo of your hair and asking how much you pay to get it done... But I won't.
@@roundstone2020 I'll ask.
Hi Shalin, how much did you pay to get your hair done?
