100% especially compared to the other bands of the genre and that era. It makes me sad to see what songs made it through the years and what ones were just forgotten about. Such amazing and relatable lyrics I think so many people would be so much happier if they knew these songs exist.
I used to listen to this song when I was in high school, all messed up with emotions and hormones, when everything feels like the most important thing in the world. I never stopped loving it, but I kind of fell out of love with it, if that makes sense. Half my life later, this song hits so hard right in the feels. I feel like I've really loved and lost now, and my empathy for the narrative is just... deeper. I think I actually "get it" now. What a great band.
